animations Armbinder from Devious Devices not working as intented

I try to wrap my head about this problem, but I cant find a solution. Thing is every armbinder and similar things (yokes e.g.) from DD let my char standing and walking in the normal animation. The game knows that there is an armbinder because its getting tracked in various ways. So technically the armbinder somewhat works. If I save the game, return to main menu and load then these save game, the animation for the armbinder working as intended. Problem then is, that when the armbinder getting removed the char will still use the idle and walking animation as if it using armbinder, except fighting. Thats working as intended. Sometimes but not always its helping when I equip an other hand restraint for the back and remove that to get rid off the armbinder animations.

 

Other mods which bringing armbinders and the like to the game, like Zaz expansion thingy, having a complete flawless use for the armbinder without animation problems.

 

I tried various things I found on the web, like rebuild SL animations or reinstall the DD packages but none of these helped. FNIS gets everytime updated when I change animations.

I did notice you're using Devious Device Cutting (ImmerSlave-DeviceCut.esp).

First of all, DD4 has a similar option included now.

And secondly, it is relying on overwriting one of the scripts from devious devices. So either it will break DD4 or cutting will stop working, based on which you installed last.

 

Also, I see you're using SL inflation framework. The patch it includes for devious devices is KNOWN to break DD4 and should not be used!

 

EDIT: Another thing, DD-HC-ArmorBlock is kinda old... While it might not break anything, it isn't really updated with the latest changes, and does revert a few things. Though they seem to be minor and probably just could make things weird, instead of breaking things completely. Also seems to be unrelated to the issue at hand, I just figured I should mention it while I was at it.

Currently is DD4 installed last (way down in MO left panel) because I thought that maybe a script overwriting it there.

I'm going to piggyback off of this, because I'm having a similar but different problem in that armbinders, yokes, and straitjackets will suddenly stop working. They'll still show as equipped and whatnot, but the animations don't activate upon reloading, and sometimes when entering a new worldspace. Sometimes reloading or disable/enable or mucking around with the inventory will fix this, but not always. 

 

The only mods that I have related to these are the necessary DD mods and ZAP 8 and I'm running on a fresh save.

Are you using a custom race? If so, have you tried with a normal race?

I have same issue like this. It was all okay in the past, recently I just installed back my Skyrim and all the mods with latest versions. Only Armbinder and Yoke animations are not working. Of course I ran FNIS and LOOT after each installation of mods. I tested multiple times with just basic SL and DD mods, it still looks exactly like the photo. Checked the animation registry are all on too. Not sure why...

Well took me a bit time, but finally found the cause of the problem from back then. Zaz has a little checkbox called "override animations if needed". after disabling that feature the armbinder working now as intendend ?

 

But its like always, I just find the solutions for problems I dont search a solution at that moment ?

No you do NOT have to reinstall ZAP. It is in the MCM menu, I think on the first page in the left column. It says "override if needed" and default is "on." Simply click it to turn it off.

No. My guess is that either you chose the wrong preset before building them, or you played with the sliders but didn't build a body with bodyslide, or the body was put on the wrong place and is overwritten by another mod. In any case the solution is to build a body, make sure it's actually in use, and build the meshes again fitting this body.

*edit* One alternative is that you have a UNP body but chose CBBE when installing DDi, or the other way around. In this case you either need to install the apporpiate body or reinstall DDi (and maybe DDx? not sure rght now) and chose the proper option.

OK, and yeah maybe, because i thought it with CEEB, but when i switched it, the gloves are not clipping as well. i am going to reinstall DD and set to UNP body (i think UNP looks better anyway). how do i properly set up a UNP body in bodysldes tho, i didnt touch the sliders, just set it to the defaults. i have to batch build the DD1 items set to a specific body, but how do i make sure that body model is in use in game? i didnt see an option to pick which one to use in character creation, and i have both UNP and CEEB installed on NMM should i uninstall the one i dont set DD to?

i have both flowergirls and sexlab too, but i have a friend who used them both (not with DD tho, not his thing), and they supposedly work find. i have the flower girl sex slave mod but i dont think that should conflict. next step might be to take it and flowergirls out tho. i really like the flower girls mod especially when you can enslave them.

sorry for all the posts i keep noticing things. after doing all of that, bodybuilder has no UNP body available. the only thing there is the DD equipment and nothing else. goign to uninstal UNP and try CBBE now/ not sure whats going on here but all information online i can find isnt answering anything. they say to put a body model in the body/outfits tab but theres none there.
