Mystery117 Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 So, I've been wondering if there are any mummification mods around for skyrim. its a huge kink of mine, and I'd love to know if there are any, or if anyone is planning to make any. also, yes, Im aware of arachnophobia, but I'm wondering if there are any normal, tape, latex, or any other kind of mummification mods out there. Thanks in advance.
Laura Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 While it is incredibly hot. It probably won't be very interesting gameplay wise. Which is why there aren't any as far as I know. 2

Cursed Loot does have something similar to the latex trap - Rubber Doll Quest - it starts with a collar and you can end up wearing a "Doll Suit".

Mystery117 Posted August 4, 2018 Author Posted August 4, 2018 *Bump* just thought I'd check in to see if anything has changed. anyone developing a mod involving this?
Lestath81 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Hi, The 4.1+ Devious Devices has some staitjacket+legbinder or hobbleskirt items, which is very close to mummification. As the DD team created a whole set of animations to straitjacketed+hobbled state, I think it is mutch easier to create meshes+textures like a full-body binding dress or a bodybag/bodywrap in which you can jump around to get some help to escape... Arachnophobia uses the ZAP cocoon mesh, wich is an animated object. I think its not that hard to create a "patch" to change the texture of it to another type of wrap maybe latex bodybag. However, I don't know any other mods that use ZAP cocoon than Arachnophobia, so the gameplay is very limited with these props. There is a WIP mod on hold, called Rubber Facility. The author tried to create vacbed related content, but he doesn't have time continue his work. In other hand, he created animated objects like the ZAP cocoon is, which seems to be a very hard work. There are some vacbed trapped girls in his dungeon, but there is no quest, the player can't interact with them or anything... Kimmy is working on DCL 7 which will have many new quests and features. They will may put the player into very strict bondage devices, like straitjacket+hobbleskirt... In other hand, I don't think that mummification + gameplay can't work together. Jeff Gord (RIP) showed that even forniphilia doesn't only mean that a person can't do anything in the hardest strictest inescapable bondage. His inventions may can be implemented as Skyrim mods. For example, the S.L.U.T.S. mod can be a good beginning to create a chariot, where the player or a NPC is part of a wagon. Tied to a frame to sit on, or just a decoration on the back mummified to a pole, etc. Captured Dreams and Trapped in rubber mods include a lot of scene driven quests, where the player or NPCs are on display or have a scene where the player is punished stuck tied to a place. They are very exciting as well, however a player probably won't repeat those scenes very often. But as I know, the Trapped in rubber's creator shows interest in Rubber Facility's creator work, they may will create mummification or vacbed related scenes too (but it doesn't seem this will happen soon)... As for NPCs: Paradise Halls + Home Sweet Home + I will Take the Display Model + T.ara's furniture pack (or ZAP 8++ or whatever, I can't follow his ZAP extensions) mods have lot of furniture bondage related possibilities (the last 2 of those are player related as well especially with Devious Framework where NPCs can decide to lock the player into them for their fun). I can't imagine that nobody will pick up the idea to mummify a character to a pole or into a coffin, etc... I'm interested in this kind of bondage as well. I'm a sw developer, but I don't have any experience in 3D modelling or papyrus scripts. Except when I tried to create a top-cover staitjacket in Blender after Dasha disappeared from the community (hopefully only from here and DA), after she was teasing us with her binding dress plans. This was before DD 4, so I had to create the animation too, and I got stuck and gave up as I hadn't too mutch time (I can feel what Rubber Facility's creator is in, but he did mutch more progress than me, and as I see, this approach with the animated objects is the hardest). My CK knowledge is restricted only creating leveled lists to make prettier capturable bandits appearing in custom clothing and body, so it is rather pathetic (I didn't share it eighter as the author forbids, and it wasn't my idea, I just continued the work of an another author, who has to stop because of the permissions). As for papyrus, I didn't see any documentation or code etc., while it would be the closest thing I could do. But there are many experienced, talented developers of this community, and I think there is no need a new beginner one... However, I didn't give up my plans permanently. I wish to start to create that full body binding dress (or its mutch less detailed version at least, maybe the inflated version is mutch easier as it doesn't have to follow the body line) for start and to get the developer environment known. My dream is to create more types of these full-body restrictive (especially latex material) suits from toes to head (I'm not satisfied with the current gwen hood as well, and Rubber adventure mod's condom mask is still not released as I know). And create Gord inspired devices, mansion, NPC community, quests etc. As I see, nor Kimmy or the DD team has a plan for this (at least for clothing, T.ara is producing new furnitures on speed of light, Kimmy the quests, the DD team is creating new animations), so I will start soon, but it will take weeks at least to create a single clothing for me. The device and mansion creation is measurable in years, but I prefer to create something reusable by other modders than competing with these talents or create something 1 time usable thing. Therefore something framework likely would be nice, but there are some signs they are in progress, interfering or heading to implement my ideas in my head... Brgds, L 1
typoking1107 Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 I'm hoping for anything that's male-compatible.
Mystery117 Posted August 4, 2019 Author Posted August 4, 2019 Bumping a 2 year old thread because I've recently gotten back into playing skyrim and it seems there's been no change in the lack of mummification content, at least not from what I've been able to find, lol.
323starlight Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I heard something about a Draugr Mummification mod though its believed to have been lost during the great modpocalypse. The closest I can recommed is Arachniphobia.
kziitd Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 It's just a visual effect. It doesn't have any special function or story 1
Mystery117 Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 (edited) Gonna bump this seeing as it's been... 5 YEARS? NANI? Also gonna expand the scope to games outside of skyrim, so, anything new? Edited January 17, 2022 by Mystery117
Mystery117 Posted January 20, 2022 Author Posted January 20, 2022 Before anyone says, btw, I am aware of Devious Arachnophobia.
LittleMiss_Harl Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 i would be curious as well, mummification is my favorite kind of playtime with my Dom 1
