Pokemon Hacks/games?

I am curious how plausible it would be to just have like a python script (or honestly even a convoluted bat could work) that could just let each user toggle which sprites they want in the patch. Like once everything is said and done and theres a definitive list.

 

I would imagine the only difference between all the "versions" is just the folder/file structure when compiling the delta patch right? So wouldn't it be as simple as deleting the unchecked files from that directory?

 

I guess that would require providing a download for all the unpacked files which might not be ideal but still. It's gotta be cumbersome to keep making different versions based on individual requests isnt it? D=

You know what? You just gave me a great idea.

Tinke already sets the sprites up like a file system. What if I just created a zip with all the sprites set up like how they are stored in Tinke?

That way, people could just go in and directly take the files and patch them individually.

And I could put all alternate sprites in a separate folder on the outside so you could mix and match them with files of the same name. In this folder, I'd also give helpful links that I used when I was getting started with using Tinke.

This would also make my job a lot easier since I'll need to have all the sprites downloaded anyway once I want to add them easily to Nude Pearl and Nude Diamond. Plus, there's also the Xenophobia version of Platinum that I could apply this mod to.

The only problem with this is that the sprites will probably take up a lot of data, so I will have to store all the sprites on my good computer.

Will you still have the main, regular patch, for those of us without much technical knowhow who don't wanna bother with all that complicated stuff? I like the idea of picking and choosing your sprites and making your own customized patch, but actually going through all the complicated software to do that just sounds intimating, and I'd much rather just slap on an already made patch and be done with it.

Very good, super cute. Thank you for the save. The task wasn't as daunting as I made it out to be now that I see the sprites in isolation, but MAN I needed a nap.

But hear me out: What if we put the bunny suit over the VS Seeker sprites?
They're the exact same as the "calling your Pokemon for an HM" sprites, so we're not missing anything if they are replaced. 

We'd just need to pick the body version we like best (since they do have minor differences in shading)

It would also give you five frames to work with. (The last two flash back and forth, so you kinda have four and a half)

Plus, your second sprite above already copies one of those sprites.

We could have the in-lore reason be that either the Bunny suit gets people excited to battle you again or the bunny ears act as antennae that show you what trainers are ready for a rematch.

This way, we can have the new "rolling into a ball" saving sprite while also not removing the bunny suit.

"Intersex" is a blanket term for real people which can take many different forms and lead to many different biological outcomes either visible or not.

"Futanari" is a very specific fiction genre of a body type that has extremely, extremely rare occurences in real life. The number of people we know of who have ever had this body type in real life can be counted on one hand.

Oddly enough, my girlfriend is one of them. I don't know what possessed her to find interest in an abject failure and universal disappointment like me, especially with her extremely competent and educated set of skills, but somehow my stupid ass (pun intended) is one she chose. She does, in fact, call herself that when she's being ironic. Isn't remotely offended, not that I'm implying she speaks for anyone else.

And yes, it's bigger than mine.

Understandable if you find that hard to believe, but I can tell you with no hyperbole that it is nowhere near the only thing about her that is difficult to believe. I myself have called bullshit on her several times, and she has always had receipts. Like the photo of Bill Clinton Ultra-Instinct bitchslapping her mom when she asked how Paula was doing. Her mom isn't very smart. Either way I am in no position to prove anything, because that would put her safety at risk. Stalking has been a problem before. She now carries a Glock.

I'll look into it myself after I've had some downtime, probably tomorrow. I might have some lewd games I can borrow references from. One of my Elona sprites has one, though I'm pretty sure it was made as a joke to make a pun that only works in Japanese.

Maybe it'll go somewhere, maybe not. I think Gen 5 will probably be where it happens, if it happens, since the larger sprites will allow for enough detail for it to be nice to look at. Unless you want to go full るぅる about it, which...I really don't, gonna be honest

This has basically the same answer. Nobody really knows how. I think it's a natural human reaction to be mentally averse to imagining your grandma nude lol.

I love the Moemon games. I want this hack to be applicable to those as well. If I can get Nude Platinum to a state where the sprites can be applied to any Platinum ROM, that would be so awesome.

Moemon are just so cute. And they make playing a Pokemon game more fun since you see your Pokemon as a lot more human.

I prefer to remain impartial on this issue, but I do believe I am capable of making "intersex" NPC sprites, whether it be their battle sprites or their overworld sprites, I don't think it would be that difficult.

I just wanna mention Xdelta doesn't work that great on DS games. Large patches get on my nerves while maintaining a hack archive, and online/browser BPS patchers suck, too. These are still for (Rev 1).

I've always considered Bunny Dawn to be adorable.

Dawn in general is just a very cute protagonist.

My thought process with this animation was:

1. Bunny ears magically appear on top of Dawn's head as she uses her hand to call them down. (Could be made to come across a lot better.)
2. The bunny ears are there and the rest of the bunny suit is being called in. (This frame could be replaced with an in-between to make frame 1 and frame 3 flow together better.)
3. Dawn moves her arm around her body, causing the bunny suit to appear.
4. The bunny suit is fully formed.
5. Frame 4 and 5 go back and forth, making the bunny ears look like they are going up and down in a rhythmic pattern. (This could be refined a bit more)

Huh. So that happened again. That happens sometimes when I change the trainer card. I don't quite know why.

The fact that entire posts could be removed because it's tied to a offending comment is concerning.

Although it's good forum etiquette to quote multiple people at once, there seems to be a risk that the entire post could be removed just because you responded to one bad apple which I think is unfair when the moderator could've instead edit that part out should they wish to hide that bad post completely.

But then again, it could also be a limitation of the current forum system here. I mean I don't even have the option to block/ignore certain users like I could elsewhere.

 

I wouldn't worry about the romhacks themselves being removed here though since the discussion related to Nude Platinum is still up.
