peculiaris
If you need to use Skyrim SE this badly you can always search on Youtube for "rollback skyrim se", Not saying I'm endorsing it because the opinions about this are mixed. Â And next time download a mod like this Link to comment
Duncan Idaho
Follow the directions on reddit for downloading the previous exe through steam console, it works just fine. Link to comment

I'm beginning to think Bethesda and or Steam are blocking the dowload Link to comment
Ironmind91
I see a post like this every time Skyrim or Fallout gets updated. Â I don't know why anyone wouldn't have this installed:Â https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12480/ Â You'll never have this problem again. Link to comment

I'm beginning to think Bethesda and or Steam are blocking the dowload FIX: UPDATE BROKE SKSE64 OK guys, you can get the older version back like this for SKSE to work: 1. From the Windows Run box (Windows key + R) enter steam://nav/console 2. The Steam Command Console will open up, paste in the following: download_depot 489830 489833 3146230552641174659 3. Go to your Steam folder, Steam\steamapps\content\app_489830\depot_489833 4. Copy SkyrimSE.exe to Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition Note: after step 2, the console will give you the download location for step 3. Link to comment
fred200
General request: When a new version of SKSE 64 goes up, can someone post when it is safe to update Skyrim SE? Maybe under Announcements? Fallout 4 has a horrible problem with a half dozen mods that need to be upgraded with each new build. I don't think Skyrim SE has the same problem - but I would hate to upgrade and find dependent mods broken. Link to comment
