Have you tested it locally? Made sure it worked? Looked closely at a functional mod and made sure you have everything it does?

Idk I just change files with the mod and it work but I lost like a lot of progress that I did in the process xDD

i have no clue why  but when i right click my jester to inspect the game crashes , it only does this with the jester no other class

Does the game crash have an error? What were you trying to do with him?

It could be his info or artwork. I think I encountered a no-report crash while learning how to port.

nope , no crash error it just force closes back to desktop , and all im doing is right clicking to see his quirks, abilities

Yeah, and I'm asking you what you changed, because vanilla files do not do that.

Again, I think fucking up porting can cause that crash, and I suspect errors in the .info file may cause it too, so what were you trying to do with him that caused this.

i installed skins and lustiest lair and thats pretty much it , i dont use jester at all yet  so im clueless

Well, let's do this the smart way.

Take that and use it to make SURE your jester files are clean.

Afterwards, check your skins for him. You may have accidentally installed skins with multiple types of skeletons... though I don't know how that would cause a crash.

Finally, load up a new game with no mods save the one below, head through the old road, and see if the Jester crashes there too. If not, it's a mod problem, load mods until he breaks then reinstall the offender. If he does, and you already used my vanilla backup, something esoteric is wrong and you may need to reinstall the game.

so i have a BUNCH of mods , i created a backup files on my desktop , full repaired my game so i have a brand new game with no mods , went back to my backup folders with my mod , completly delete my jester  files , then transfered everything else from my backup to the game , and my jester still crashes when i inspect , most recent additions were lustiest lair . other than that its loading screen  backgrounds in dungeons so i really dont know

upate : it crashes in my save file but not in the new one , so the problem is either in my save itself OR in my steam mods  il dig around for more info , can a steam mod really interfere with the jester files ?!?!?


 epic news , i think i foud it , my darkest desires  mod is making it crash on inspect , is there a recent version of this mod ?

on another note, when i instal lustiest lair im supposed to put a skin in so the boss occultist and vestal are said skin   with the FX and animation pack but when i do the boss  just a white block , do you know anything about that ?

Darkest Desires is on here in its own topic but nothing has been posted there since the end of February. And the last post there said there's a jester crash, so there's your problem mod more then likely.

Unfortunately there are no new updates for it and I don't think its gonna be updated anytime soon since it hasn't been touched in a while, or people have just been too busy with other things.

I don't use lustiest lair anymore but as far I know, you just have to put the anim and fx folder into the Vestal folder that's in the monster folder for LL. Same for the other hero enemies as well.

When I did use the mod I got the Vestal one to work but not the other hero enemies.

for those interested in a size 2 version on the swine nymph (instead of the size 1 listed before), you can download it here.  hp was increased to compensate for the extra slot occupied. (its hp is slightly lower then the brigand bloodletter) This also means that it needs to be pulled to the front to disable its team-wide attacks instead of front 2 ranks like before.

I would provide my own install's version, but I swapped the Crusader out for a Man-At-Arms, because I wasn't using the vanilla-skeletoned MAAs.

Take the .anim, .fx, and one color alt's .anim folder and paste them into the relevant folders.

Most skins will just want the alt's .anim folder, but some skins edit .fx too, and good shit edits the main .anim folder.

In order to get a character and not white boxes to show up, go to your

 

1) C:\Steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\heroes\crusader (maybe this is in a different folder and path for you)

And copy the contents of the Crusader_A/B/C.... whichever one you prefer

 

2) C:\Steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon\mods\Lustiest Lair\monsters\crusader (maybe this is in a different folder and path for you)

 

onto anim folder of lustiest lair crusader and there you go it should work but don't forget that the lustiest lair uses the vanilla skeleton of hereos and monsters so using the anim that was taken from Xelswords Templar class (crusader) will make the character look like shattered glass.

 

3) And do note that the file named Crusader_A/B/C.... in the Lustiest Lair monster folder are NOT what you should tinker with they have nothing to do with what we are doing here (making the with boxes disappear) Therefore don't mess with them. 

 

 

 

 I uploaded these files inside of them are ''skins'' ''ori'' and ''anim''  the skins are the folders you need to copy the images from (only the one you want to use) and paste them into the anim folder with no pictures.

 

Ori is folder the original files are in just there in case you need them.

 

 If something turns out to not be working please inform me since it worked with my game.

turns out lusty lair has some replacement somewhere that references the fallen hero mod but it doesn't have any of the textures or files for it,

I fixed it by getting "sexy fallen hero v3" from 

and giving it higher priority over lusty lair

also don't do it when you are mid fight because the sexy fallen heroes version are stronger with a lot less health, if you fix it while mid fight with them they keep the old hp and will fuck you up

You're going to need to be more specific. There are sexual skins for most things in the game, and LL does a pretty good job making the whole dungeon horny...

There's pretty much a lewd skin for almost anything now, there's still a few enemies missing lewd skins and as far as I know, no one has made anything for the Ancestor and the enemies in the Darkest Dungeon dungeon.
