I am not sure, but I am willing to bet 10$. What's the problem with the mod?
Kriegera Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 it works perfectly in my game but it's very memory intensive so if you have a shitty rig you're going to have a bad time.
Stiffon Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I always run it alongside CWO and have no issues - makes the roads more fun!

Wandering Starspawn Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12977/?tab=1&navtag=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D12977%26preview%3D&pUp=1 I think this is the culprit of so many of the bugs I've encountered. I am not sure, but I am willing to bet 10$. What's the problem with the mod? What kind of bugs are we talking here? Someone at this site repeatedly craps on this mod but never really elaborated on it sufficiently. Maybe they'll show up and give their two cents. I've been running it for ages and haven't really seen anything obviously buggy about it. Imbalanced sure: I pickpocketed a Vigilant unsuccessfully and a patrol of Dawnguard ran up and massacred them for me, leaving my Lv2 with a whole lot of pretty great undeserved loot
Stiffon Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 CTDs I have run this consistently alongside Civil War Overhaul for a very long time and neither have been the cause of constant CTD's. Maybe an odd occasion where I might have been also doing something silly, but this mod is not at fault for that! Did you share your mod order/plugins - I missed that?
wholegrain Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/84836-crash-when-patrol-gets-attacked/
Stiffon Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/84836-crash-when-patrol-gets-attacked/ Many mods there I have not used so have no knowledge of their impact. Bashed patch is usually last tho? Do you get a CTD at every encounter with IP? Even vanilla Skyrim suffers. What skeleton are you using as I don't see an xpmse in that load order.
Wandering Starspawn Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 On my current game which so far has been incredibly stable, I came across a rather large Stormcloak vs Imperial battle caused by Immersive Patrols. While great fun to watch, it invariably CTDs around the time the battle is about to conclude.
wholegrain Posted September 18, 2017 Author Posted September 18, 2017 That's it. Immersive Patrol, never use it.
Wandering Starspawn Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Haha, guess I'll nix it too. I've always been bothered by how numerous and organized it makes Dawnguard when they're supposed to be this skeleton crew of hotheads.
Distortedrealms Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Never had a crash related to said mod. I can encounter and watch the battles without a ctd, while adventurers and travelers mod injects hundreds of random npcs often many encountering and running from the battles and still no crash. That is often 50-100 npcs at once and still stable so I don't think the mod is at fault here. That said I once had Immersive creatures alongside IP, monstermod, HLE, and ROTE, and had many ctd and I suspected IP but turned out it was IC creatures with no combat form causing the crashes (Seems someone made a patch fixing the issues on nexus recently) So it could be other spawning mods doing the deed.
wholegrain Posted September 19, 2017 Author Posted September 19, 2017 it depends on your spec, dude, so if you crash with it you have to nix it.
Stiffon Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 it depends on your spec, dude, so if you crash with it you have to nix it. or fix your setup. I've used it on an old laptop with only occasional crashes. Like said - on a weaker system need to limit script mods a little more. If it doesn't work for you that's ok, but you can't bash it when it works fine for others.
KoolHndLuke Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 I think I used to have trouble with it on my pos pc, but I haven't for awhile now- not even the battles. But I have gotten a little better at tweaking. Random spawns used to give me fits. The op is right I think. Some mods just don't work well together.
wholegrain Posted September 19, 2017 Author Posted September 19, 2017 it doesn't work very well, so remove it and you will see a lot more stability everyone. it's not always the script everyone and high memory usage can fuck everything.

Thank you, but I think I'll keep it in - I even join in some of those large battles (side dependent if I have started the civil war lol), and I have no real issue - even have an occasional Dragon swoop in which really cranks the difficulty up!

Do you use Deadly Dragons to buff them? I try to make those dragons fearsome again as opposed to just pests. I run about 6 mods to randomize spawns and it works beautifully. I rarely fight the same type of battles over and over anymore as enemies from 4-5 different factions will be fighting in one area- and then a dragon (or two) decide to join.
