[REQ] Zapping nier armor.

Would anyone be able to Zap out the white part of the armor and the middle part of the chest between the breast? I've been trying to do it over and over again but I can't get it to work.

It's really quite easy. Just dl the uunp bodyslide files that wtf did, open the file in outfit studio, put a mask over the parts you don't want, invert the mask so that everything you want to keep is masked, and then create a new zap slider from the slider drop down. Name it whatever you want, save the file, build the outfit in bodyslide with your new zaps selected, and you're good to go.

 

edit: actually, dint's own file comes with body slide files, so you can just use his.

Blender? i didnt think you could use blender to edit a nif file

You have to have the nif addon to allow you to load nifs into it. But there is one other way and that is to export the part out in .OBJ format either by exporting it from nifskope or outfit studios and then loading the .OBJ file into blender. Go to the object mode box towards the bottom and change it to edit mode right click mesh and select separate by loose parts and then turn object mode back on right click the bottom and hit X and select delete remove the bottom part that's white in game. The center part though there's not much you can do there as it's mostly one piece.

 

Now hold down the shift key and start clicking one the different parts to many to hightlight then hit CTRL J to join them back together keep doing that till they are all joined again and export it and start a new project and load it into outfit studios. Or you can see if there was a body under the armor in the area where the white part was if there is a body there then you can just load the nif up and then load the .OBJ file and scale it down to where the old one was at and adjust it.

Still can't remember the name of the nif I altered but I was going through my screenshots when I was like the screenshots for it should still be in there so I looked and sure enough there were the screenshots of how it looks. I gave her a super sexy panty/thong.

That's the old one without the full hdt skirt from the zenithar workshop (on nexus). The nif he needs to edit is the dress nif from dint.

I personally think the old one looks better once the skirt is removed as it's more sleek and the center comes out easy unlike the one with the white leotard part where you can't just delete the center out but instead have to try to delete out the vertices instead and to me it just doesn't look as good. Mine also now has HDT.

 

1st 2 are from the workshop the last 2 from dint and with the workshop one you could remove the bottom sleeves as well if you want.

You'll have to redo the body and remake the _1 nif file. I was able to zap the white part out with no problem.

I have never used the bodyslide part of bodyslide other then for zapping.

I opened up every nif in dint's folders for the one with the white leotard part and deleted out the armor the body underneath is broken. Unless bodyslide adds a body to it or something.

Its not the issue of liking the color, and yes black looks better, the issue is just getting rid of the white bottom part all together

So ... I did it for you, but there is a slight technical hitch. There isn't actually any body underneath the bodysuit. Clearly, rather than deal with any clipping and weighting issues, probably fitting issues, whoever made the port decided to just delete parts of the body that you couldn't see.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soooo. Unless you have a different version of the mod to me, one with a body underneath, but I am betting all the versions are the same, just with some elses name on them, you are screwed. Unless someone wants to fit it to a new body for you. mb I will give it a go after work. Don't hold your breath.
