The Vampire Lord uses a one-piece body/head mesh, same as werewolves. I'm looking into the possibility of full body and head replacement using standard playable race body parts. But it isn't looking too good since the wings are part of the one piece body mesh, and there are no animated wings currently available. It'll likely be quite some time before we see anything like that available.

I refuse to play Dawnguard until there is a better female vampire lord mods.

This is REALLY fun, and crossbow is now my favorite weapon. Don't let one factor, (one REALLY small graphical factor that doesn't impact how awesome it is to BE a vampire lord) ruin your experience =P

I dont mind the ugly factor for my male character but still.... And I agree with the crossbow statement, its amazing. might have to figure out a mod to replace the crossbow with a ak47, or M16 just for shits and giggles.

Saki Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I just rarely if never transform. I have played as a Vampire all throughout Vanilla so it doesn't effect me too much~ Though when I am in a tight spot my character will reluctantly transform.

Then again achieving this wasn't exactly the greatest challenge of all time. I'd just love a little less ugliness for the Vampire Lord form. Flapping around skyrim on little bat wings is fun.

It has the wings and spindly limbs for the attacks and the like, and the head originally was part of the mesh, though I think someone made a version where you can use it as a suit.

GHJKL Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 No, I think it was a good choice to make the vampire lord like this. Bethsoft understands that I want a good game, with a nice lorefriendly setting, Doesn't mean that I won't use a replacer but there is no need to make things sexy by default.
