flogenny Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 So all I want is to be able to utilize decent quality sex scenes/animations between werewolves in beast form and other NPCs/the player. I've looked around for about a half an hour and from what I can tell, I need OVER FIVE mods in order to be able to do this. What?! There's got to be a simpler option. I really shouldn't need more than the Framework, FNIS Creature Pack, and one or two other mods (to cover the animations themselves) to accomplish this. I already have my default sex animations covered by OSex. I have SOS installed for males and UNPB for females. I have a female werewolf nude model already installed. I can uninstall it if I have to. I don't care if there are extra steps (dialogue, spells, etc.) to be had in game for the animations to be activated, I just want the animations and the ability to simply use them. EDIT: I am new to these forums, so PLEASE let me know if I'm posting this in the right place. EDIT2: I'm asking for suggestions as to what I should be installing, as so far it would seem that the only present options are unsatisfactory for my situation, and I am hoping that someone will know of any options that would prove to be more what I am looking for. I apologize if this wasn't clear. Okay, I have reanalyzed my conundrum and found that I worded it all pretty shit-ily, and whilst reanalyzing, I came to a possible solution on my own. I am unsure how to remove or delete this thread, as I am new here.
Jexsam Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 People have a hard-on for frameworks. This isn't a bad thing exactly, but it can lead to what you're experiencing - a frustrating amount of requirements for what should be a simple one or two mod thing. I remember hitting the same wall back in the Oblivion days. Werewolves in particular are a complex subject since there's a million different mods that alter or change them, some intended for non-smut stuff, others intended explicitly for smut, and these two types oftentimes not playing nice by default and requiring yet another mod to make them work together. I can't help much with recommendations, but trust me when I say that installing the frameworks does make things simpler down the road if you want to diversify your smutty options.

I never said I wasn't going to use the framework. I said that I should only need the framework and two or so other mods. It doesn't matter to me if the mods are smut or not, which is what I was trying to say by bringing up that I didn't care if there were extra steps involved until I could see the animations ingame. Anyways, thank you for trying.

Nonono, I was asking why I needed about 3 other mods, besides the framework, animations, and models, in order to use a group of animations. ...agh, I guess your solution is right. But I assure you, I know HOW to mod, as in mod my game, not how to CREATE mods. The thing is, I can't afford to install S E V E N mods just for some werewolf sex animations when there's a 255 esp limit that I'm JUST beneath. Mod creation is far out of my reach. I shouldn't NEED to go to those lengths anyways.
Alpia Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I highly doubt you have 255 mods you need...... If I speak about mods you need I speak about everything, but armors and weapons. You can easy merge weapon and armor mods without the need to have a clue about it to reduce the amount of esp's. If thats not the case you have to deal with it and I dont know why you complain about the requirements anyway as they usually have nothing to do with each other and are seperated for that reason. For more nasty critters (pretty much what you want) http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/4130-more-nasty-critters-slal-edition/ you need Skyrim Script Extender - which you need anyway for pretty much everything Fores New Idles - which you need anyway for animations SkyUI - which you need anyway UIExtensions - which you need anyway for multiple other mods SexLab - which you need anyway for obvious reasons Sexlab Aroused Redux - which you need anyway for nearly all mods Creature Framework SLAL - there is also a version without it, but its simply a nice tool So all in all I dont get the idea of your comment you need most of the requirements anyway for other sexlab mods and the requirements have all nothing to do with each other so its pretty obvious they are all seperated.
myuhinny Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 @MM1001 Merge .esp's like armor and outfits into one .esp it'll drop your .esp amount down. I started just using someone else's .esp to add the files that I wanted from mods just to try to keep it down. Depends on what you have installed I have never used UIExtensions or sexlab aroused redux or the older version of it.

I am not saying create the mods just learn how they work and group what you want together. @MM1001 Merge .esp's like armor and outfits into one .esp it'll drop your .esp amount down. Depends on what you have installed I have never used UIExtensions or sexlab aroused redux or the older version of it. ^ or do this. This is a great first step in lowering your esp. In fact the first step would be to combine mods from the same author (you know those which were created for the DLC etc) combine those first, Then grow your skills and eventually you will have all the assets you need in a couple of mods which is what you want. Unfortunately since like I mentioned, so many people are involved and generally they don't allow their works to be taken and created into a single mod not to mention there are so many variations of (werewolf for example) mods and choices etc that it would be difficult to get one that everybody would want. However, I agree with you and would love to just have one standard base to start from with the assets needed for similar things then have alt mods to make additional changes from those if desired. Then I would be able to just start with a nice small load order and then have space to add the mods (full mods like lands and such) as I desired. In any case... it is sad to say there isn't much that anyone could do to resolve this issue except advance one's skills to merge, combine etc mods to make what hey want. @myuhinny, any advice on the tools / tutorials to get this done? I am so out of date on this So all I want is to be able to utilize decent quality sex scenes/animations between werewolves in beast form and other NPCs/the player. I am unsure how to remove or delete this thread, as I am new here. To answer your question... you can't delete a thread that was posted. (at least not that has responses.) a moderator / admin needs to do that. if you do want to and feel it is necessary then i'd just make a note (in the title / thread for this) and let the moderators lock/delete the the thread as needed going forward. However, better choice would be you giving us your solution to help others that have the issue you have. Might prove useful to someone reading this.
myuhinny Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 @ritualclarity I was told if someone wants to have their thread deleted that they should PM a moderator and give them the link to their thread that they want deleted and ask if they can delete it for them. I use to give the same info to people to just put delete in their title but was told that the slim chance of a moderator seeing it is fairly slim unless it's on the main page. Not sure I have never merged anything as I just piggy back someone else's .esp and add the mesh files to their .esp and right now the folder for the mod that I'm piggy backing has over 2.42 gig's of mesh files in it not including the texture folder. I think doesn't wrye bash have a merge option? Not sure haven't used it since oblivion. There is these 2 on the nexus. There is some info on the nesux page. Might be a tutorial or 2 on youtube. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37981/?
