CTD In Certain Areas... MasterAmbushActorScript Error?

Alrighty, well as the title implies, I am getting CTDs when entering certain places. Notably, places where there are heavy numbers of ghouls and now apparently Diamond City. I really don't have a clue what could be causing it but the papyrus logs note many many error like this one:

 

[07/27/2017 - 12:16:58PM] error:  (00099DFE): Actor did not have a valid Animation Graph Manager.

If anyone knows a solution or what's causing these errors I would greatly appreciate the help.

I've had a look at your Papyrus log and you don't need to worry about that subgraph error. Those errors are non-critical.

I'd be a little concerned about the MoreSpawns error that it gives, seems like whatever mod causes those isn't exactly well written. But even those should not cause CTDs.

 

Apart from being able to tell you that the Papyrus log doesn't give any hints as to why the game is crashing in its entirety, I can't help any further.

Well that royally sucks then. CTDs are annoying as it is and now apparently even papyrus won't help. Oh well, thank you for looking at things.

There can be 3 reasons for this - in my experience.

 

- wrong skeleton (but would not be local limited, as you described)

- broken meshes of specific bodys / armors / objects

- textures with wrong compression or without compression for NPC / Armors / Objects in these places - this is common cause
