For me F4 + all DLC without a mods, better than Skyrim + all DLC without a mods. But Skyrim with mods, better than F4. Especially in adult oriented modding.

p.s.

Far Harbor awesome and very atmospheric dlc. Nuka World has a huge slavery modding potential.

In my opinion Fallout 4 is less than good if its your first fallout game in general you may enjoy it seeing you won't have any bias' of the previous games to judge this one on but for me its a rather lackluster game.

If you're looking for adult mods from what I've been seeing it seems to be slowly but surely taking off which gets me excited because at the moment its probably the only thing that will make me come back to the game :D.

I'm personally waiting a bit to see what other mods come out and watch the current ones progress a little more before i install them and play around.

All in all you could buy it on Steam and just refund it if you don't like it.

If you want a good game to play that is Fallout go with Fallout New Vegas its far more developed in the story and RPG department and the modding community for it has some great mods from overhauls to entire DLC sized mods in the works currently and the Adult mods are pretty much already all there for it.

Personally to me it is.

I won't talk too much smack about 4 because that's how arguments start.

If you want to compare though which is the better game look at the user reviews for both on steam and metacritic.

I see well thanks for helping and i'll look into which versions is better, I am surprised that no adults mods are really out ofr this game its been out quite awhile.;

If you're into adult mods, get Skyrim plus all 3 DLCs. Fallout New Vegas does have adult content, but it isn't even nearly as good as the sex mods for Skyrim.

Fallout 4 might get more mods, but don't get your hopes up. If you like some sexy outfits and good gameplay, Fallout 4 (plus the DLCs) is definitely worth buying. A lot of people that played Fallout New Vegas and/or Fallout 3 think that Fallout 4 is bad, but if you haven't played these (just like me), Fallout 4 can be a lot of fun if you like the gameplay and the stories.

Just an fyi you can also grab New Vegas and/or Fallout 3 on gog now, and avoid the drm/steam stuff.

I just grabbed it (new vegas) myself, and seems fun after a week or so, so far...   neck seams are kinda hard to avoid though.

Fallout 4 is a lot of fun but most people I know including myself only played through it once. I found the mods available to be a bit lackluster but maybe that'll improve with time.

There are adult mods already available for FO4, but they are still in alpha/beta stage.  I still use them in my game and so far have had no problems.  You can go right now to the adult mods section here on LL, and find the mods on the first page.  The ones I use are 4Play, Mindless Sex, and Leito's animations mod.  There are some big quest mods on nexus for the game.  As for New Vegas.  It is my favorite 3d Fallout game, the original Fallout being my favorite 2d game of the originals.  New Vegas has a lot of sex mods, but I only use the consensual mods, I'm not into rape, beatiality, and slavery.   Aside from that since it's older it has a ton of mods on nexus.  My favorites being New Vegas restored and Freeside Open mod.  These mods open up and make these parts the way they were meant to be, but due to console limitations at the time Obsidian couldn't implement it.  Both New Vegas and FO4 have factions to join/help.  Since I never beat FO4 I can't tell you much about them.  But New Vegas has great factions like the three main ones, the NCR, Caesar's Legion and the mysterious Mr. House, the enigmatic overseer of New Vegas.  Also it's best to keep in mind that the strip is based on 1950's Las Vegas, not the modern one.  So no Pyramids or Sphinx's.  I've seen a lot of people complain about this.  They forget that the Fallout series is based on a retro futuristic setting.

If you're going to buy NV, I suggest buying it from GOG.com.  No steam hassle.

If you like the Fallout Genre all 3 Fallouts are worth playing IMO, but it probably doesn't matter a lot what order you play them. New Vegas has the most developed mods. FO3 may take some tweaking to run as it was designed to run on Windows XP.

I have read all your comments thanks for your guy's input!

I seem to be seeing a pattern that NV seems to be the most popular with people probably had a better grip of what made a fallout game a fallout game, while FO4 seems to not hit the mark. the idea of having more developed mods for NV is an entertaining idea but I am wondering how good it looks or is it super outdated at this point.  Sex mods aren't even super important too me they're just kind of entertaining to have I more or less just like to have some defeat rape mod and a pregnancy mod and I would be happy.

I'll be looking up some gameplay on NV and see how it looks, I saw a youtube video of FO4 and it looked great there was a fantasy type mod installed and I think I am more geared for that fantasy look.

If you like shooters that have pared down RPG-like mechanics where killing everything in sight is always the solution, then play FO4.

If you want an actual RPG, and solutions to objectives that don't involve killing everything, pass on FO4.

And if you don't like scavenging materials, micromanaging settlements and the settlers themselves, and spending more time trying to start the final quest than actually doing it, definitely pass on FO4. :D

Just be warned that NV (and FO3, for that matter) is notoriously unstable. Bethesda didn't adequately debug and stabilize that version of the Creation Engine, which the work Obsidian Entertainment did with NV made very clear. It's a great game but it does require a fair bit of work--unless the Steam version is already fixed up and optimized--to work properly when it's modded heavily.
