Vivi, I think I've figured out why for some ppl on SE the mod doesn't work. Its because of the plugin version header is 1.71 (SE uses 1.7)
This plugin header version was introduced for AE update (game ver 1.6+) and ppl like myself still on SE (game ver 1.5.97) wont get it to work unless they use Backported Extended ESL Support (BEES). 
Maybe u should mention it as a requirement for SE.

the old cages look really nice on the SSE version...not so much the new ones, some major clipping issues there. but I'm glad i can finally use this on se.

What a hot bloody mess SE is for christs sake. SE or AE or whatever. I am curious does anyone know if the SE that GoG has have the bloody SE CK included?

If I am going to make an SE version I rather do it on an version that you know, is SE and not AE.

 

Also does this mean that the .esp from the LE version works just fine with SE?

-SE was actually very stable until last year (holy shit nvm, time flies fast, apparently this happened in November 2021), the version 1.5.97 was the latest version Bethesda has updated and noone expected any further updates, hence majority of mods were built specifically for this version.
So, in Nov 2021, new update dropped, that is commonly referred to as "AE". This is the update 1.6 and its higher versions. This update was a major fuckup of ...a LOT of mods that lost functionality and even broke pre-existing saves.
TL;DR It used to be actually great until Bethesda pulled a classic Bethesda move. (Thanks Todd)

-The GoG is also on AE version afaik. However, since your mod only adds "clothing items" and stuff like that, no scripts/functionalities are attached, it should be pretty much compatible with all game versions. (excluding the plugin header version)

-Yes. It does work with SE. That is how I originally used your mod. The only little difference is the plugin version (not to be confused with the header version that I previously mentioned), LE uses "Form 43" and SE/AE uses "Form 44" if I'm not mistaken. The impact in-game is basically non-existent, just Mod Organizer will display a warning message that the plugin is in outdated form.
As I've mentioned, the mod "BEES" is basically a "soft requirement" currently for those that wants to use your mod on SE. AE users don't need it.

-Additional little info. In LE, the plugin limit is 255 (.esp and .esm combined), however, SE/AE utilizes new function of those things called "light plugins" (also called ESL flagged/ESPFE plugins), which does not count towards the standard plugin limit of 255, they have their own separate limit (SE has 2000 and AE has 4000, btw this is what the plugin header [the 1.70 and 1.71 thing] basically changes from what I've read).
You can select your plugin in SSEdit, select option to "Compact form IDs for ESL", confirm choice, then in plugin header, section "Record Flags" add the flag "ESL" and save changes.
By doing this, your mod will not count towards the regular mod limit anymore. One of the massive benefits of SE/AE. But from what I know, this method should only be done on simple mods. If you are planning on making a DD version, id recommend you first ask around ppl if it is safe to do this process for your mod, due to DD using scripts and stuff like that, I'm not sure If it would function without issues.

Didn't have much time in April, but I plan to start doing the TRX version this weekend, I want to get this done so it's out of my backlog.

Mod kinda work-ish in SE

Items are added into the game fine with thirdparty plugin header twerk

However, the ball textures seems to be missing (null light purple)

Fairy Drop was always part of the main mod. You can just type help drop or use AddItemMenu. For LE that is, don't even try it for SE because it uses HDT PE not SMP.

Lol you guys could have told me that the male version works out of the box with SE/AE since SE SoS uses the exact same body/textures even the texture path is the same. Cool to know :P at least I only have to do the female versions.

I suggest making chastity item to 49 slot only (Chastity belt slot in Devious Devices). In mcm settings you can stick 49 slot with cage in the 52 "device underneath" slot (panty slot and schlong) so cage will be hiden when panties is on, but it wont work if you have schlong, yes, but you can just turn it off in sos mcm or if you arent using panty you can hide scholng under 49 slot. Actually if schlong or panty would use other slot, we could make it like: cage closes schlong, and then panty would close cage with locked schlong – everything would be closed without manipulation :) And also im looking forward to DD version

Behold! ... The TRX Alpha version.

 

There is a weird stretched shadow under the balls that's probably coming from the normal map since I had to stretch the skin quite alot there. Unfortunately I am not qualified to fix that, but it's not that bad and kinda hidden anyway.

I have some good news and some bad news :P The good news is that I am about to post the TRX version. The bad news is that it's only for the basic UNP full weight body.

I am sorry, I really wanted to make a bodyslide for this, but I simply didn't have the mental capacity to figure out how to properly conform the cages that far away from the body and the few test versions I made just barely worked and didn't look good.

But I would like to give a special thanks to @TRX_Trixter for his time and help with the subject. Hopefully somebody will try and make a proper bodyslide in the future.

Just managed to get the mod to work with NEFARAM, simply using a body with weight 1.0, and I also opted to use one of the micro cages - so can't vouch for the others and glitching :)

Speaking of flat cages - I have been looking into how to add to the flat- and micro cages a decay on arousal. Finding it a bit "odd" that my character reaches climax so easily, and it would be fun to control it a bit better. Does anyone know how to properly add such a condition to an item?

That can easily happen if you are very horny :P sometimes can even cum from like nothing. Nothing in your ass or anything, just a tiny motion/movement of the cage on your dick and bang, you came.
