Top Mods that MUST be created for Skyrim

So here is a list of the top 5 mods that just HAVE to be added to Skyrim... in my humble opinion:

#1: The REAL HIGH HEELS system as seen in Oblivion. For all of us that play female characters (And there are a LOT of us) and HATE seeing our beautiful characters walking around looking like Cotton from 'King of the Hill'. Who wants their gorgeous gals legs shortened and goofy looking when wearing shoes that are supposed to give the illusion of LONGER legs?!? Just look at this Oblivion screenshot and tell me you wouldn't want your gals legs to look like this in Skyrim:

How incredibly sexy is THAT?!? ...and thats not even with the PLATFORM heels that are my personal favorites in Oblivion!

#2: A TRUE race compatibility such as you have never seen before in Skyrim, and while we are on the subject... a distinct lack of CTDs when using ANY mods that improve your characters looks in the start game creator. Cmon Bethsda... get with the freaking program! You guys give us a tool to make our own races, and then make the game so fragile as to CTD everytime you load one up?!?! For REAL?

#3: A better Khajiit head/face mesh. I'm so not talking about 'ohms ryat' either... it's not bad, but nothing compared to THIS:

No one seems to know where this comes from, but it's freaking gorgeous and I would LOVE to have a Khajiit replacer that looks this good... wouldn't YOU?

#4: A Cornerra Maximum Compatibility Skeleton. For wings, futa, high heels, BBP, and some kind of NEW feature similar to body slide... only for your skeleton. Imagine ONE skeleton that does it all, and you can make your legs longer, or your abdomen, or your arms, or your neck... Seriously, this needs to be made!

#5: Better animations for EVERYTHING. I like victorias high heel walk for sure, and momos run and jump, and the many lovely female idles... but where are the amazing hand to hand martial arts mods, the cute/sexy magic spell mods, the acrobatic anime like swordplay mods, the many wonderful possibilities for unique killcam/dragonshout mods? Where are they, huh?

LOL Anyway, just a few things that I am DYING to see come to skyrim... can't think of how much more amazing it could be with these mods in place.

PS: #5.5: I hear so many people complain about how bad the calves look on the CBBE body, and I can't help but agree. They are soft and buttery looking, not flattering at all. So why doesn't someone talented rework them, or just cut the awesome calves from the ADEC body and just slap 'em on CBBE? I mean, LOOK at these perfectly shaped sexy calves, and tell me those wouldn't look good on CBBE!

I realize I went on a bit longer... but hell... these are things that should already be out there. Am I wrong, are modders just lazy, is all the workarounds that modders have to do just to GET something in the game the problem... or are these things just impossible for everyone except the rediculously talented asian modders that refuse to share the wealth? Hell, I don't know... but these things are wonderful to think about having, dontcha think?

@1: Meh. I could live without high heels. Kinda ridiculous on a warrior or mage anyway. Nice to have for out-of-combat screenshots, though.

@2: What we need is to find a way to make the stupid flash-based chargen more stable, able to handle more stuff.

@3: No.

@4: You can cover this with the High Heels at the same time. A maximum compatibility skeleton is supposed to be compatible with the maximum number of things possible, right? It stands to reason that a high heel system would be included.

@5: The walk reminds me of the awful, exaggerated version of this. If they'd tone down that ridiculous hip swing, I might actually download it. But the vanilla walk isn't all that bad, especially compared to the crap we had in Oblivion vanilla.

Anyway, my turn. Mods that MUST be made for Skyrim: Jexsam Edition!

#1. Deadly Reflex: Skyrim. Sure we can lop off heads, but why stop there? Cave in skulls with hammers, cut off arms with axes, add blood gush and gurgles with throat slits from behind!

#2. A functional system of soliciting sex from others, either through petty prostitution or wooing through deeds. Say you bring Ysolda those tusks and set her up with a bunch of Tree Sap. Maybe she wants to thank you, but doesn't feel like paying you more? Or, maybe Mjoll was REALLY happy to get her sword back? Maybe Farkas really trusts you after a while during the Companions quests? Or maybe you just wanna make a few coins? Or you simply wanna bone your significant other? Doesn't have to be complex, deep, or emotional, just add sex as a reward or function to places where it makes sense (in much the same way as Deadly Reflex adds violence to places where it makes sense).

#3. A wide array of static or semi-animated sex poses. Sex mods that let you actively fuck are great, don't get me wrong, but they make setting up screenshots a tremendous pain in the ass. Maybe I want to ride a troll. But there aren't any trolls in the tundra around Whiterun! Or perhaps something with a giant, but whoops! the giant died before executing his rape punch or whatever, or he managed it but the angle and lighting are shitty, or any number of problems caused by having to dynamically engage sex anims. Give me active sex mods for playing and a set of erotic pose rings for statics; is that really so hard?

#4. A Skyrim version of LoversBitch. Hey, if you can say ass-ugly Khajiit are a must-have, I can indulge my personal oddity as well. ;D

And probably MOST important, #5. Skyrim's Mod Configuration Menu. This piece of incredible technology plus one vanilla-friendly overhaul mod made Fallout New Vegasa wonderland for me. Ammo drops were just where I wanted them in rarity, I didn't have to suffer stupid hunger and thirst issues, I can set run and walk speeds in four directions to exactly what I wished, I could change the time scale... and all of this from one set of menus IN-GAME. Skyrim desperately needs an MCM, above all else.

well, i'm sure some of them is being made or still a plan for future, its just matter of time i guess. not really a fan of high heels tho, but hey everyone got their own taste.

animations is pretty difficult imo coz bethesda decided to use this behaviour thingy. and really was hoping that animations divided into two gender (M/F) or maybe for every race not just stance, sit, walk animation etc so you dont need to see that feminim female stance when holding weapons on male..and i believe most modder from oblivion is using blender for creating animation but so far 3DMax that can really support for creating animation for skyrim.

one thing that i absolutely agree with you is that calve thing, since CBBE and UNP was out i do kinda hate that part, thats why i go with ADEC (not long tho) but switch back to UNP (slighty modified the waist and calves and mainly coz its really supported for new armor/clothes etc)

This.

And I would kinda like a mod that makes non combat a valid option.

And A mod that makes criminal behavior more realistic, but that is underway

And more realism mods.

Night will spawn harder and more dangerous monsters then day, and when night ends the harder monsters go back to their lair or whatever and the skeevers come out from their holes.

A mod that makes you able to guess how strong an enemy is. Bandits all wear the same stuff, some are way stronger than others though.

Binocular (monocular) mod that gives a binocular or monocular to get a good/closer look at where you want to go. maybe get an better idea of how strong the enemies are and how many of them.

That one has been worked on by the SkyUI team actually, still WIP, but it's coming along. I believe there's a deveploment thread somewhere on Beth forums.

A Peeping Tom Keyhole mod.

Skyrim needs a way to peer through keyholes/doors/windows so sneak thieves can see what/who is in a room before barging in.

Along those lines, we need a way to enter through windows as well. There is probably someone working on that already though.

A Real high heels system would get my vote. Not much good for dragon slaying perhaps, but excellent for elegantly hobbling slave girls.

Plus, there is a scene in my mind involving high heels, chastity belts, otherwise naked waitresses and a set of greasy body textures that show more and more grubby handprints as the evening proceeds. I'd like to bring to life sometime : D

What I want the most, is a mod that allows you to select bodys. There was one in Oblivion, and I could select a body for this NPC and a different body for that NPC. I want that so bad.

Mods that makes monster slaying more fun, such as:

1. By making dragons more aggressive when they land. So instead of sitting there like a frog, it would run around trampling people and taking bites out of things.

2. Adding grab mechanics to temporarily stun monsters. Say a dragon is about to fly off, but you climb on its neck and hit its head with your hammer, stunning it.

3. Adding trapping mechanics. Like pitfalls, mines, sonic bombs, etc.

4. Adding heavy weapons such as ballista, etc, designed especially to kill monsters.

I realize these mechanics are basically monster hunter mechanics, but wouldn't it be nice to have monster hunter in skyrim? I mean we already have the equipments and the monsters, why not some of the mechanics as well?

A random body shape generator for all Characters in the game( PC and NPC)

What would really add to the immersion is something that can randomly tweak all npc's body and their clothes meshes to be slightly different. Some tall, some short, some short while others dead skinny. And most importantly, different breast size and different butt size if that is possible. A good example can be taken from Vaderapp's real bodies mod

this guy even made a really easy (though its buggy on some occasions) clothing converter to allow clothes from other mods to be converted in to having the relevant "body size" on different npcs. So if a fat NPC equips the clothing, his clothing mesh would follow his body shape and not shrink him back to default body shape. Vice Versa for a skinny person and women with different breast size.

The vanilla game has pitfalls. Though they are quite obvious. Also, Dawnguard has crossbows, and there's a dwemer model of a balista. Add crossbow mechanics and there you have it.

for that it's much easier to do it via skeleton. Increasing the "weight" of a bone will make that area bigger. It's how the default weightslider works, IIRC. You'd just need to alter what it changes so it's something more then boobies. You'd have all the previously converted clothes ready without the need of modification.

For me, a mod that allows me to obtain spells, words of power, or even let me complete the damned main quest WITHOUT having to join a guild in the game and WITHOUT using console commands would be amazing. It absolutely kills the immersion and roleplay when my character has to join a faction that he/she doesn't like just in order to get a shout or spell or to finish a quest. Some people play the game without the desire to do everything with the same character and ruin what's left of any RP.

Some of the other things mentioned here get my vote, and I'm looking forward to Skyrim Slavers Guild.

Some cool monster raping/sex/pregnancy would be cool too imho.

I'd really just like to see more casual clothes for female toons that don't look like they belong in a fetish club.

^ THIS! :D There is just so many skimpy outfits, i tend to play my games as realistic as possible (hypothermia mods, basic needs, Master Difficulty ETC) and i would love to see some more immersive female outfits.
