Have we figured a fix to the black screen bug? I get sound, can walk around, the ui shows and the world map shows up no problem but the screen is black after a fade. Even disabling it in the option gives me a white screen instead lol.

***I fixed the issue where the heroine’s monologue voice pitch was set too high and sounded strange. For those who downloaded it before, please re-download and reinstall only the 'Dogma - Thief_Voices_1_9_1_5_heroine_selfvoice' mod.***

Using this mod makes the voices sound clearer and easier to hear.

 

The installation process is a bit complicated, but since the updates keep coming, this is the only way to do it. Also, I don’t use the LE version, so I’m not really sure about that part. However, I’ve heard that you just need to convert all the voice files into loose file format.

 

PS) The story is good and enjoyable this time as well. However, it would be better if you could make the event scenes a bit longer. I sometimes feel it's a pity when some event scenes end too quickly after I've gone through the trouble of meeting the event conditions. I prefer long event scenes.

my chrome deleted it after getting downloaded.. it has flagged with virus.. sup with that?

I scanned it with my Windows Defender, but there was nothing wrong. I'm not sure why your computer is detecting it as a virus.

Was there anything new added to 1.9.5? (compared to what was until 1.9.4)

I noticed some people mentioned the stable guy at Whiterun, is it just this addition or there are other stuff as well?

Only worked on a clean save where the mod wasnt previously installed for me, couldnt access it from 1.9.4 either

 

On fresh install he should simply approach you when youre near him after you started the Falkreath section

the stables guy is bugged atleast for the second scene. i cant get him to invite me to his home. he just keeps asking me for money and then once i pay he says lets continue the meetings i say yes and then affter doing a scene at the stable he asks if i still want to delay the payment or delay days till payment even though i already paid. .

  • Milk Mod Economy
  • Being A Cow
  • Ominus Lactis
  • Extensible Follower Framework
  • Actor Limit Fix (My Skyrim AI/Auto pathing has almost never worked for me, was hoping this might fix it)
  • Where Are You? (tool mod)
  • Devious Cidhna (Played part of the quest until escaping the mine and then went off to play thief)

These are the only script related mods I've added since updating to the latest version of Thief and encountering various progression blocking bugs. Is anyone aware of any possible conflicts with the above?

Confirm Devious Cidhna is conflict , try disable it. Extensible Follower Framework is ok but require to disable all horse related content or it will lead to chasing bug.

Has anyone else experienced this in the mini-game where a worker carries you in a box in Solitude, and when you try to sneak into the capital, a button just refuses to work? This is the first time this has happened to me. I reach the edge of the bridge, and suddenly one of the A or D keys stops working. I just press it and nothing happens, and as a result, I lose.

This is an issue with framerate.  If your game begins to lag during a minigame, Papyrus (the scripting language) is assigned lower priority and scripts will stop working correctly.

I’m sorry for causing you inconvenience.

 

The reason is that I uploaded it right after doing the voice work without properly playtesting it. I should have tested it thoroughly and fixed the missing or odd parts, but since I didn’t, I ended up having to release multiple updates. It’s almost perfect now.

 

Originally, the voice mod work for this mod was done by someone else, but since it hasn’t been properly updated afterward, I started working on it myself out of frustration. Unlike other mods, creating voice mod for this one is very difficult. The reason is that there are heroine lines that didn’t originally exist, many overlapping NPC lines, and a lot of 'no-voice' lines.And in this update, I accidentally set the ElevenLabs version to low quality, so many of the heroine’s lines sound strange. Anyway, since it’s been a long time since I last worked on voice mod, I ended up making a lot of mistakes.

I’ve redone a few of the heroine’s lines, though the overall quality isn’t very high.

 

Anyway, I’ve refined it enough that it no longer requires any updates, and I’ve re-uploaded it.

Dogma stated he will only write the walkthrough once he's closer to the final updates. As someone who doesn't have that much time and can't re-play everything, I can't look for them myself. Could someone share where to look for the added content? I already got the stable scene but I believe there's much more to be discovered.

I’m not sure if anyone else has the same problem as me. In some locations I created by Dogma, I can’t save the game. For example, I can save in Solitude, but once I enter Skunkway, I can’t save anymore.

Clicking 'View All Save Files' option will show you the saved files.

So the thing with save files going into a weird space and having repeating sequence numbers in cells added by mods is a known issue that is related to those cells not having a valid location entry.  Yes, if the issue you are experiencing is that you make a save and then you can't find the save, you need to use the option to show all files which will resolve the issue.

However, if what you are experiencing is that you are not allowed to make a new save at all, the cause is a script has blocked saving.  With regard to Thief, you can always allow saving at any time by using the setinchargen 0 0 0 command.  If you turn on the dev options in the Debug section of the MCM menu, you can also permanently allow saving with the relevant option.

Trying to play through the latest version. Got to the part where you chase the thief on the horses. Well when I get to the horses, he is sitting on his and I see the usual chat between him and the stable guy. But when I mount my horse and the chase is suppose to start, none of the horses will move. They both are frozen with there mouths open and tails sticking straight out. I have no other mods installed that affect horses.

This is usually caused when you have not yet run FNIS yet on a new installation of a mod.

 

Try running FNIS again and see if that helps.
