Everytime i try to download i had the same error;

I had same problem, I went and downloaded from dogma blog.

Thanks for your work dogma, best mod in skyrim by far ?

it seems i have trouble with skip feature. i clicked skip, closed the main menu, my character turns to the left a bit and then nothing happens. no pop up question windows appears. i didn't have this problem in the previous version. Any idea of what i might be missing or doing wrong?

I've still got about 750 lines to translate.  Getting it right will take a while, but I can put out a rough translation (excluding the two skip bonus scenes) this evening.  Would about 7 or 8 central time be early enough?

Damn that's nice, i was expecting something like week or more. Since i wont be able to play today i can wait for full version, your choice.

Stuck too. Right after the search at "The Door" I go to main hall naked but don't know what to do. I was told to find Olaf, but my controls are off. I can walk but not talk or activate stuff and after approaching Olaf, nothing happens.

Starting a fresh new game solved this for me btw.

It didnt work, I guess in that scene he is organising the content of the chests and when my character aproaches him he stops doing that and a conversation starts. But he is stucked doing that searching animation so the dialogue isnt starting. Also since its an scripted scene my controls are disabled and my only option is console comands or reload.

 

Something similar happened with the man of the bets in the arena: After the sex scene with him my character just keeps laying on bed and I cant move, so I had to follow the other route.

I'm willing to bet that all of have some combination of the following:

  1. You tried to use the skip feature after starting the main quest
  2. You tried to load the new version on a save that already had the mod running
  3. You have loose script files in your installation folder that are causing problems

These issues, along with conflicts with other mods, are like 90% of the reported problems in this thread.

Getting error 9 on FNIS...I am using XXL and got rid of all extraneous animations.  I have 5k animations without Thief enabled and 900 creature animations. There's no way I should be anywhere near the 12k cap....

Can someone tell me what the cutscene skipping with the merchants/bards  do? I know with LOD i saw it. I tried skipping for them or am i doing it wrong?

It's been bugged for a long time.  There's a section about it in the FAQ.

As explained by Dogma, to get either of them you need to have 300 karma when you reach the end of the skip script.  This is extremely difficult and requires that you take a very specific route through the script.  Furthermore, you need to meet some additional conditions specific to the bards and cheesemonger.  For the bards, you should be able to unlock it by favoring one of them on both prompts where you're asked to choose between them.  For Viggi, you need to go on "many" dates with him.

 

That said, I haven't been able to get the damn things to work either, so...  I dunno.

There are still about 400 lines that I haven't yet found, including all ~100 lines from the skip bonus scenes (about 10% of the total for this update).  I will try to get all of that done and write up a new FAQ by next weekend, but I'll definitely get it done before Thanksgiving.

 

Now I gotta go to the store and get some food for work tomorrow.

 

Edit:  Almost forgot, if you've already installed the public version and started a playthrough, you do not have to start a new playthrough if you install the translation.  All of the dialog will be updated correctly with no issues, the only things that won't are the MCM menu and certain quest strings.
