Four-Play: Beginner-Friendly Installation Guide (Comprehensive Tutorial to Sexualise your FO4)

Recommended Posts

Would anyone know why the mods would function in one save and then not function properly in another save? They were working fine on a male character and when i switched to a female character, the characters would move next to each other and strip but just stand there. I returned to my previous save to find my followers had glitched and wouldn't follow me around any more so I reloaded an earlier save and now they don't work at all. I'm new to modding but I followed the instructions to the letter and even tried reinstalling everything twice, I even disabled every mod and started a new game but they still just stand there after stripping. Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?

That's because in that save, Four-Play was initialized before the Animation Loader  and it is therefore still looking for Crazy's animations, not Leito's

Disable four-play.esp. Save. Enable esp. Load. That should force Four-Play and the Animation Loader to initialize again, at the same time this time, on that save

11 July - added a tiny but very important suggestion to the Four-Play installation guide

This small tweak eliminates those annoying loading screens (but only for indoors unfortunately), which if you're unlucky can even result in an infinite loading screen, whenever a sex scene involving the player is triggered.

In Fallout4Custom.ini, navigate to the [General] section (or create one) and add the following:

[General]

fMinPlayerMoveToDistForLoadScreen=1000

Save Fallout4Custom.ini

Got it solved, it works fine now, here's a recap if somebody else has the same issue:

Problem: Nothing works but can go to coc 4test.

Solution: Install F4SE with the installer and not the archive.

Problem: Just standing around naked when animations should be triggered (not registering Leito's animations).

Solution: Make sure you have version 1.3 of Four-Play Alignment Fixes and Animation Loader. I had version 1.1 for some reason.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi there. I have followed the instructions several times but cannot get it to work. I can enter the coc 4test area and use the terminal but nothing happens. That's as much as I can get to work. I have checked my files too, I seem to have everything and have everything listed in this tutorial (which is awesome btw). I am very confused and frustrated. Any ideas?

I installed everything with NMM and the script extender installer. I am trying to use Sex Em Up. Not that Four Play seems to be working right...I never get a message on my screen saying anything is installed or thank you. I have never used this mod before so my save is clean even though I have some other mods (cosmetic ones like hair)

If 4play doesn't seem to load, try re-installing F4SE but using their installer this time in stead of the archive. Test with the coc 4test, preferrably on a completely fresh, modless save in order to see if it's a mod conflict or if it's an installation problem.

If it's the animations that don't work, check if the "Alignment fix and animation loader" is version 1.3.

If it is not, then go uninstall that mod and then download and install version 1.3.

Hope this helps.

-Waffles.

I have tried the installer. It was how I first installed F4SE. I have checked and redownloaded everything I need to ensure latest version. Thanks for the help but Im losing hope of ever getting it to work. There is nothing missing in the steps right? All I did was follow the guide exactly. I even reinstalled my game to try and get it to work. Didn't help btw.

I tried, and I crash each time I try to load a save...

what other mods do you have? Any mods to customize the menu or HUDs? Any ENBs?

Also make sure you put the ini changes into the right inis. Errors made in the inis can cause crashes on load like this.

I have hardly ever heard reports about crashing on save load for Four-Play. All it does when you load a save is starting a two second timer before even doing anything else, so you would get at least get 2 seconds in game before the crash.

So, I need to begin a new game ? No problem, I Just need to find a quickstart mod (I hate the intro).

it's worth a try but not really needed at all.

You most likely have another problem: HUD mod, ini changes, etc. Four-Play generally doesn't cause crashes on load. In fact, it causes very few if any CTDs at all.

Vinfamy, thanks for the guide, there's a ton of ini tweaks I definitely wasn't aware of and i'd have assumed I had f4se installed correctly going by the read me (it didn't feel right leaving that data folder out)..

So it looks like I've got everything working, actors are stripping and all no problems, BUT actors aren't hard, everyone has a soft on..? I uninstalled everything back to Leitos mod to check with his gun and all works fine.. any ideas?

You need either Dongs of Fallout or FP Nudesuits. Dongs of Fallout also require FP Alignment Fixes and Animation Loader

I am having an issue with four play not working as intended. I get no installation notifications, I followed the guide that was in OP.

I have reinstalled F4SE and the frameworks in order multiple times then just one plugin to see if I can get it to work again. I get nothing

I had it working just fine, but all the guys dongs were flaccid which does not work... so I tried to fix with a bodysuit and I managed to break everything.

here is pastebin of Papyrus https://pastebin.com/b8qDf1dx

I did look through the log and I saw a lot of "missing file?" and "Unable to bind script four_play:play_test_2p_terminal to  (300119EF) because their base types do not match" and things like that.

I am using the F4SE installer not the archive. the onyl four play mod that seems to work is the sex log one. it is also the only one at this time that I get a notification in top left that it is working

according to the Papyrus log, none of the scripts are there. Your Data> scripts folder should have a lot of .pex files that start with FP or Vin, and it should also have a sub-folder called four-play.

Maybe NMM fails to install the script folder of the mods.

Or make sure you enable modding again through the ini changes so that the game can read custom scripts.

yea, none of the scripts are in the folder...

its funny, earlier last night I had it running fine with NMM.

then NMM begins to fail installing scripts when its told.....

thanks for responding so quickly

-- It looks like for whatever reason if I run NMM in Administrator mode, it is installing the mods correctly now. I am not sure why it discriminates between elevated and non elevated all of a sudden. Thanks again for pointing me in the correct direction to solve my problem

Thanks for the tutorial but I am unable to download Leito's Animation Pack

It is giving "We could not find the file specified".

It's down due to LoversLab's server update error. All files uploaded over the past month or so are affected across the site.

Mod authors can either reupload the files or wait for Ashal to sort the issue out within 48 hours.

I suspect Leito will probably reupload it the next time he's online.

Hi

I intalled all the things, using Nexus mod manager;

In game, i tried to trigger a 4play scene : it's said in a debug notification 4play is blocked.

You mean ("4play: blocked - one or more invalid actors in list") or ("4play: blocked - one or more actors is wearing power armor") ?

It's a known issue with custom race (due to a very strict child race check implemented by Doc) and power armor. Did you happen to be triggering sex with either of the two.

Also what mod are you using to trigger the sex? Violate, Prostitution, Sex Em Up? Don't worry too much about the terminals included with the framework, I think they have their own problems.

Ok, so you've tried a lot of stuff.

When you start from a completely new savefile with no mods, does it then give you a brief little message in the corner when you load the game after having activated the mods?

(That's if you go by the order: Deactivate mods -> new game -> make new save -> activate mods -> load game)

What version of the mods do you have?
