Since he clearly has no intention of returning, what does he care about credits anyway? Better than letting it rot on some hard drive. Not doing it is sort of like punishing the community for Steam's fuckup.

Fuck Steam and fuck Bethesda for requiring it. I've put too much work into this project to let those assholes' greed ruin it. It just won't include as much as I had hoped. The first version will be out in July. Later work will be to improve the body textures. I may make them available for other races too. Anyway thanks for the interest everybody. I'm probably not going to be around much until after July though. P.S. I will never buy a Steam game again.
GermLoc Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I truly am sorry to hear about that happening, Zonzai, I feel what you're going through as well, although mine was with Blizzard Entertainment and a Worlds of Warcraft account I had had years back, and....again even more years prior to that, even, with EverQuest....(reflecting.......). Ok....starting to see something here with me and MMORPG's....anywhoo...Zonzai, I would literally be a tad bit depressed if you didn't finish this project in some way...I've been kinda anticipating it for....well....probably the day this thread was posted on here but whatever way you choose, man, I wish you the best and hope crappy ass uncaring piece of shit companies at least try to not be as much of the pieces of shit they are in regards to any business you may undertake with them...=) cheers! Though the final versions won't be available during the July beta I will have a single body texture with each of the girls' faces and their tattoos. In addition to a basic black leather version of the corset each girl will have their own variation. Naughty's and Lace's are the only ones shown in this thread. Leather's outfit has more armor. Nice's has more pink and ruffles.

I am surprised and pleased with how well it is coming out. It has ears. That's right, ears. That you know, look like ears. Crazy right? Ears in Skyrim. Bet you never thought you'd see that. I was going to post up some images but the screens just don't do it justice. I think after I finish this first face (the basic non-tattooed texture that will be used on Nice) I will post the base body and face up as a base female texture replacer. Consider it a pre-release gift for your patience.

All of the items aren't done yet. You know the problem with first impressions right? You'll never get a second one. The reason I want to force the races on you guys is because of two things I noticed from doing the AOM mod. First, the skin textures looked comparitively plasticy (that's a word now). LNL is just as finely detailed. So I am definitely forcing new body textures. The second thing I noticed was that people sometimes had a hard time making well proportioned sexy faces. So I am definitely forcing a few basic presets that can be used to make better faces (and perhaps more importantly not providing any disfigured presets). Details like eyebrows, makeup and what have you, are more of a personal taste and so many peope have done such great mods that handle those that these new races will use the same ones as all of your other characters (whichever ones you prefer). My main goals in releasing LNL in this manner (and not doing any more or any less) is to give players a platform to build beautiful, realistic characters that match the quality of the outfits. I'm sorry that it has taken so long. I hope you understand though. -EDIT- Also, as (if) I move forward with other mods (possibly even AOM2?) I will be doing the same sort of thing. Creating new playable races that are mostly just a base for people to work with, and a pack of items that fit a specific theme. Please, give us download link bro Alpha version skin textures will be available as soon as I can fix the neck seam (I'm picky). The butt seam is pretty much gone. The seam on the front of the hips is giving me a bit of trouble and the neck seam... damn the neck seam. I'll get it right yet. Also I'm reworking the area around the eyes and lips today. I decided I wasn't happy with their resolution and got a hold of some very high rez images (professional grade). Nipples need some small tweaks too but that will be fast. Fast nipples... hmm, good name for a band. -EDIt- Bear in mind that this is an alpha texture though. It will improve before beta, partly based on feedback.

I know you must be putting all your heart and good will in this mod, but excuse my impudence saying this, the only thing interesting for me is the amazing lace texture. I guess I shouldn't be putting any kind of pressure on a modder, you'll have to excuse me again. I used to be able to do small tinkerings with Oblivion but I lost the train with Fallout 3 came out and now I'm reduced to begging for even the smallest things from people who don't share my tastes or points of view. It's the damn frustration of not being able to import a nif just to cut some bits away without attending a rocketry course beforehand. I think I understand. To create the lace I found some images of lace and then created photoshop brushes with them (some I found on deviant art). I created a single layer on the PSD and painted a single piece of lace on to the layer. Then I manipulated the layer, turning it into an object when needed. And erased parts of it. Then I merged the layers and loaded that selection. I expanded the selection slightly and erased the lace from a new alpha layer (for transparency). It was a lengthy process and a lot of it was done by hand. Doing it this way I didn't lose much of the resolution from the images because they were brushes and (mostly) easily resized. And I could create a really complicated alpha layer. The mesh itself is actually exactly the same as the Scouter Corset. Everything has been done with textures and transparency layers. But don't worry, impudent people get the mod in July too. ;P

I cannot say I've ever seen anything yet still which has the detail in a body texture even on Maevan2 spotty/veinier/scared version of dimon99 UNP skin on the breast area. Nipples look like nipples close up!

Also, the face and body shows wrinkles (sexy wrinkles not old lady wrinkles), pores, goose bumps and every detail that you would expect to find. The alpha version won't be 100% complete but it will feature the areas that you are likely to notice the most.
