I'm kind of resurrecting this thread, but I was curious about distances for RP purposes. This looks like the perfect chart for me, but I noticed something that seemed inconsistent, and am wondering if I'm missing something. According to the chart, it is a shorter distance from Dawnstar to Windhelm than it is from Dawnstar to the Nightgate Inn, which is in between the two. Why is that?

hmm...i don't know. the distances are based on cities in poland (and Ukraine) that seemed to correlate the best with the places in Skyrim. i used road distances, so maybe some of the roads meant slower going even though places were closer as the dragon flies?

I actually thought it might have been the opposite, as the roads I'm aware run through nightgate inn. I was wondering if a beeline over the mountains was why it thought it was faster. I might be missing a road you took into calculations back when you made this though

Z tego miejsca znajdziesz się na drodze między Old Hroldan Inn a okolicą Reachcliff :)

(that puts you on the road between the Old Hroldan Inn and the Reachcliff area. :))

if we extrapolate this to all of tamriel...well, it all mostly fits inside a single european time zone XD

we had labyrinthian in zbrachlin, but that is too far north. labyrinthian hits right where 91 meets the Autostrada-Burzitnowa, which puts it in the tiny town of Dąbrówka

solitude was in bytow, but that is farther north (it hits Shadowgreen Cavern almost perfectly). Solitude moves south to Chojnice.

karthwastern was in stare polichno but that is too far north (closer to the shrine to peryite near bthardzam (which is gorzow wielkopolski)). karthwastern sits just east of zielona, in the area of the village of silna

saarthal sits in the middle of what looks like miles of farmland just south of babrosty, so we moved it to there from Ełk, which is actually right in the middle of winterhold, which we had set at Sulwalki, but that is up in the ice flows near Skytemple Ruins. Interestingly, the map shows the college of winterhold just east of olecko, so the college is actually a solid 30 km (19 miles) away from winterhold. that is a long causeway!

ivarstead was set to Staszow, but that is farther northwest. it actually sits halfway between Staszow and Mielec, except a little bit east. Right about where Szwagrow is, in fact.

windhelm was in bransk, but that is too far north. Siemiatycze sits right next to it, so that is where we have moved it.

stonehills moved south from Sierpc to Rypin

the thalmor embassy was in Slipsk, but that is in the ocean, so it has been shifted south to the dinky village of Holandia

nightgate inn has shifted south from Ostro Mazowiecka to Wyszkow

mistwatch moves south from fajslawice to the middle of a whole bunch of nothing. tarnogora is the closest something, so that is where we placed it.

I really appreciate this. Even though this isn’t technically a mod, it’s so helpful for time management. When v1.1?

technically this is v. 1.4, at least. I don’t know if I will expand it. I suppose I could
