Help identify a problem

So i installed shittons of mods in one go and theres an unwanted feature in my game now, npcs get this swirling blue portal thingy on them and nothing happens after it, i have no idea which mod this comes from, i tried to disable some suspects but it didnt disappear. Help if you can, thanks!

i guess it will be hard to help you without a load order, unless you are lucky and someone knows that bug already

after some google research my guess its some mod combination that causes this rather than one mod alone

seems like a spell or a visual attachment to a weapon,armor etc.. is this only happening on soldiers with cuirass or is it to all npc, random?

you use mod organizer? if not no helps given here

Happens on every npc and myself so every armor included, using NMM.

Happens on every npc and myself so every armor included, using NMM.

im sorry to say but right now the time has come to delete your whole skyrim+nmm

consider using mo, then install all mods, if its bugged, deactivate one mod afetr another to find corrupt one or change mod order

nmm is messing up your games folder, i dont know how people can even use it..

no chance to backtrace without mo, sry

what i found out so far to narrow it down:

* its seems there is some kind of spell absorbtion effect on the npcs, that gets triggered from a spell or cloack or item thats running on your player character for example:

- the effect from the atronach stone

- every spell that works the same as atronach stone spell from other mods

- skill perk with atronach like effect

- aoe effects on your pc or follower

=> you have many mods that add spells and spell effects, check if they have options about permanently running spell effects

* Mods that possible trigger it alone or in a mod combo:

- Campfire

- surrender mods (like yield)

- Revenge of the Enemys

- Requiem

- any mod that adds auras might conflict with spells running on you

*** unbind soul from undeath (that might your issue here) ***

* a shot in the blue:

you have a lot of mods that need patches to prevent compatibility issuses, dubble check if you got all patches possible

i can tell from owen experiance its not always easy to see what patches are needed from the mods main pages, especially from the nexus site

* what seems to happen: one mods gives npcs a spell absorbtion aura -> one mod gives your pc a AOE effect -> blue swirl gets triggered

looks like armor echanendment mods you have allot of mods in your list so you need to check what mods adding new enchanments to npc.

Op you should run LOOT on that load order, you have some error in it.

You should also consider using Wrye Bash for setting up one Bashed Patch.

What you have is one cloak spell, that affects your NPC. Dont know from what mod it can come from.

You should check the suggestions from @donttuchmethere

Thanks for the suggestions, i managed to find out that it was caused by Bathing in Skyrim mod!

Yes your Bathing plugin was at absolutely wrong place, it should be higher up in the loadorder.

Did you run LOOT on your loadorder since you have many other issues in it.

Your loadorder seems way better now.

And yes wrong order can make almost every strange bug appear in the game.

This one should be after right before Alternate start.

SexLab-AmorousAdventures.esp=1

Weapons & Armor_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp=1

This ones should have this order.

MoreNastyCritters.esp=1

SexLabNudeCreatures.esp=1

SexLabNudeCreaturesDB.esp=1
SexLabNudeCreaturesDG.esp=1

HentaiCreatures.esp=1

And they should be high up in the loadorder.

Loot dont do all stuff correct all the times.

About the bathing mod, you should not remove that one from the game and continue play.

I suggest you install it again and roll back to the save where you removed it. You can easy turn it off.

The plugin for it can you manually in NMM place right before 3DNPC.esp

You can also add this mod to your game for better compatibility and you can actually save some settings from the MCM.
