I currently use 1.3.9 on SSE 1.6.640. I think I used 1.3.6 on my last SSE 1.5.97 pt.

I'm on AE 1.653, SlaveTats 1.3.9 (also tried 1.3.7, but not helped) and latest rape tattoos. Almost all packs from SlaveTats file page. And Mod Organizer 2. And I have all tattoos working. I can apply them with slavetats menu and they are working well, so there's can't be a problem, like I have tats not compatible with SE.
And before you say, moving to 1.5.97 isnt an option for me since I have mods which depends on AE skyrim build and wont work with 1.5.97.

Is your Skyrim installed on a different drive than C:\\ ?

Mine is, is that why it's broken now? Because Docs is C:\\ and Game is T:\\?

This might help people who have this bug:

 

If your tattoos fade instantly or if your tattoos disappear instantly after rape, DISABLE/ENABLE the 'notify me of tattoo changes' setting. Regardless of what it is - the changing itself seems to fix this problem.

 

This bug happened on 1.6.640 and the mod is functional otherwise.

If anyone has solved this issue id really appreciate your help! 

 

My configs in the mcm have all of the tats as excluded, even though they are definitely correct in the json file, tried reinstalling, moved to ST 1.3, tried changing the template file and obviously the settings file loads of times, cant figure it out?

Well, for one thing, this is a .txt file and not a .json file. There are free .json checkers on the internet where you can paste your code and then verify that you didn't miss a comma or something.

You said they showed as excluded in the MCM - what happened when you tried to change one? I know how tedious it might be with all those tattoos (I have 16 pages or so of tats, lol), but changing them in the MCM is probably the best way to get your settings.json file. Then you can save a copy elsewhere for future use, just tweaking it where necessary/
