amras5584 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Hello everybody!! After months of leeching and some little contribution only with comments (breaking the balls most of time) I decide to start my contribution to this amazing forum. First of all, remember English is not my mother language, I'm Spanish, so if I make some misspellings I say sorry in advance hehehe... My story: Now I want to start sharing my method for convert an original costume in a destructible costume, because I see some other methods but in my opinion have too much useless mesh and vertex groups. With my method you only use the parts you need and the weight of the final file is less. Also, the names are more easy to understand. First I start making my mods like this based on PHASE4_COS_001, because if you change the hair the hood dissapear, so I started to make something similar to the structure of this costume, put some parts Visible and other Hidden to swap when you change the Hair. After I discovered with CHRISTIE_COS_002 that the PHYD file only call for the vertex group called WGT_headdress, so I try to make another costume naming a vertex group like this and using the same PHYD file with link_reshuffle. First I try with another Christie's costume and it works, so I try with another girl and it works, also with MALES!!! So now I make all my costumes like this. My intention is to make ALL the costumes using this method, females and males, original and other costumes I found on Internet (mostly here, but also on other forums). After this Intro, I start now sharing my method from the first steps. Now this is my method: First you need all this tools: - Blender: https://www.blender.org/download/ This you need to work with the meshes, edit some parts, take only what you need to work with other tools, etc. - https://www.mediafire.com/folder/f2d5z16fv0xm2/DOA5LR This tools are made and share by riry sukisuki, so all the thanks to him. Here you will find this: - LR Photo Studio. Is like an explorer to see all the costumes, but also is the access to other tools. - Breast Copy Machine. Like the name says, using blender to choose the parts of the body you want to modify using a complete nude costume like reference make this parts appear on the destination costume. It works with complete body, not only Breast... Other usefull tools are DLC Tool and ABC Tranformer 2. To use this last one you need to change your region settings. Ask me if you don't know how to make this, but I already explain on the thread of Movie set start by Harry Palmer... - https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9zi2gt8dyllaj/doa5mod This tools are made and share by dtk mnr, so all the thanks to him. Here you will find this: - Blender plugins, to work with Blender and copy the vertex data you will need with other tools. - TMC Polygon Tool. To erase some parts of the costumes. You can delete a complete mesh or only a part. - TMC Object Tool. To add or delete vertex groups on the costume, and make it visible or hidden. - TMC Polygon Insert Tool. To add (insert) meshes to your costume. You can also replace other meshes with the modified one. - Texture Tool JPN costume. To replace or add textures to your costumes. Sometimes you need to add new Body texture for example on Honoka, because the nipples appear on the dressed version... - --C file Editor. This you need to choose with what hair will appear the dressed version or the nude version (Visible or Hidden). There are more tools here but this only will need if appear some problem. Normaly I never use them... Only sometimes the TMC Bone Tool when convert soem costume from one character to another... You also need a Nude Body of the character to use with Breast Copy Machine, so try to find. Is better the more closer to original body, so choose in conse... So first open LR Studio and choose the Costume you want to modify. In this tuto I will use HELENA_DLCU_001. Now open the file with Blender: Now you select the part of the body you want to change. I allways hide the rest meshes to make it more easy. to Hide you only press the "eye" close to the name. To eneter on Edit mode, you press the "triangle". One time you have it, copy the vertexID to Clipboard: Now we open the Breast copy Machine. On the left will appear the costume you want to modify. On the right you need to put the Nude reference body. Make sure to choose the proper mesh, because some costumes add another skin type mesh, for example for nails. Now reload the LR Studio and will appear a new file, same name but with "-output" on the end, open it and look if is ok to your desires. If you think there is some problem, try to choose more vertex with Blender. Sometimes it works swap the complete body at first and after open the output with blender to make it in reverse, I mean choose the part of the new body you want to swap with the original. Then you need to choose the original costume on the Right place in Breast Copy Machine... If all is ok, open the new file with Blender and start to delete the part of the costumes you don't want. In this example, I delete the Bra and the center of the pantys. For this you choose all the Vertex and after again copy to Clipboard: Now open the file with TMC Polygon Tool and enter the VertexID of the parts you want to delete on this place, but be sure you choose the proper mesh and select "Add (Direct)": You can also delete a complete mesh selecting the "Add (Index in Area)". When you Finish, select "Added Only" and save. Now you can see on LR Studio the progress. If you no like, repeat again the steps. Now is time to extract the meshes of the original and output costumes. I have a normal monitor resolution, so I neeed to overlay the 2 windows. You need to open both costumes and open the Data Viewer. Put next to the other to look more easy the meshes you need to extract, because normaly you don't need the complete costume to swap... Now you open the ORIGINAL file wit TMC Object Tool. This is the most important step, so be carefull when choose the parts you want to copy or delete. On this case we need to duplicate the WGT_body 2 times, the first is for the Visible (dressed) and the other to the Hidden (undressed). Now I recommend to open the folder with the meshes extracted to make no mistakes. You look the meshes you have, so in the original Body group you delete them: On the WGT_body2 you change the tag to Visible, because this are the original meshes. You now need to delete the groups you no need here: The same with WGT_body3, but Hidden. This meshes will appear when you change the hair or during battle with proper hit. Now with this is enough if you only want 2 diferent bodies when you change the hair, but if you also want the destructible thing you need to add a new group called WGT_headdress. You can duplicate the part you want, but I always choose one with less meshes. On this case, WGT_sweat_chest: Remember to change the tag to Visible. Now you need TMC Polygon Insert Tool to insert the meshes you've extracted. Be careful to choose the proper mesh destination. And now you can see the result with LR Studio. If you select/unselect the mark in ? you can see the 2 versions of the costume: Of course this texture need to change. For this use Texture JPN costume tool to swap the texture with the texture you want. And the last but no less important (maybe the MOST important) you need to change the properties of the --C file, because this say when the dressed costume will appear. If you Unselect all the option, always you will have the nude version, so select the Hair position you want to be dressed (selected) and undressed (deselected). Now you choose your method, Autolink or DLC Tool or link_reshuffle, but you will need the CHISTIE_COS_002 PHYD file to make it work. If you use Autolink, only place the file on the same folder and rename with the same name of the costume you use. With DLC method you need to set the file with link_reshuffle, so I will explain this. Only choose the slot of your costume and on the PHYD select and choose the PHYD file of CHRISTIE_COS_002: And that's all Folks!!! Now some screens on game: Now I share the file I use on my Tutorial. It include the PHYD file so is ready to use with Autolink. On a few days I will share more, be patient. HELENA_DLCU_001_amras5584.zip Thanks for reading and enjoy. DOWNLOADS: - FEMALES: MARIE_ALICE_MADNESS MARIE_DLCU_035 - MALES: EIN_DLCU_001
amras5584 Posted December 28, 2016 Author Posted December 28, 2016 Thanks for the tutorial Thank you because you explained this on first time. After this I start to make my mods another way. --- I share you an old remake mod. I post one screen a few months ago. I base this mod on Alice Madness by Electronic Arts, and the costume MARIE_DLCU_025, but now I made it destructible. Some Screens: And Download: MARIE_ALICE_MADNESS_amras5584.zip It includes PHYD, Hair and Face, ready to use with Autolink. EDIT: I made a mistake on the back of the costume, delete too much things. File is Updated to a better version. Sorry!!!
amras5584 Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 Hello again, another mod. This time is a mixture with MARIE_DLCU_035 and MARIE_DLCU_023. I take the upper body and the top bikini of the 023 and put on the 035, because I like the pants of this costume on Marie, so I made it toggable with Glasses. By defect, the Hood is ON, but if you yoggle the glasses, the Hood is OFF and you can see the pants and top. If undress, Hood ON means Pants OFF and with Hood OFF means almost naked. Some Screens: And DOWNLOAD: MARIE_DLCU_035_amras5584.zip Includes PHYD ready to use with Autolink. This time the Hair is built on the costume, so I also include Empty HAIR to avoid any conflict with the hair if you use one slot diferent that the costume 035. I did'nt put the option to change the Hair, but if you want just use DLC Tool to replace the Original 035 and add 2 times Hair 0 and Face 1. Also you need to Edit the --C file to unmark the Hair slot if you want this. Enjoy!!!
amras5584 Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 Another one for today, this time EIN, my first MALE mod. As I said, you can use the same PHYD file from Christie for other models, also males. This is the EIN_DLCU_001. As you know, most of the males only have one Hair, so if you want to toggle with Hair you need to modify the DLC that include the costumes or link_reshuffle to add a new Hair. Some Screens: And DOWNLOAD: EIN_DLCU_001_amras5584.zip This is the Flaccid version. I'm also want to add the Erect version, but for this you must use Autolink because for now is not possible to put different meshes at the same time with the tools we have... Enjoy!!
LGMODS Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Thank you for sharing your creations and also your tips about how you work
amras5584 Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 I reuploaded the costume MARIE_ALICE_MADNESS because I made a mistake deleting on the back. Download again. Sorry... MARIE_ALICE_MADNESS
DOA5U Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 These looks great I have a suggestion can you make Ein belt around his waist destructible as well.
amras5584 Posted December 31, 2016 Author Posted December 31, 2016 I can, but first I explain how to do it yourself. First open the costume with LR Studio. You can extract the meshes for the belt. On this case is WGT_body_7 and WGT_body_c. Now with Object Tool create one new group and put the name you desire (by default must be WGT_body4). On the original group delete body_7 and body_c and on the new group delete the rest except this two. Also you need to tag this group like Visible. Finally with TMC Polygon insert tool insert the meshes you extracted and be sure to Add on the new groups. Must be something like WGT_body4_0 and WGT_body4_1. Save and that's all. If you still want that I make it, wait a few days...
xoDOAox Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Another one for today, this time EIN, my first MALE mod. Some Screens: EIN_DLCU_001_amras5584.jpg Thank you for sharing
anonymec Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Thanks for your tutorial! I've tried it and it works!!
estopilla12 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Hola! he visto que eres español.
I don't speak spanish so much and I don't know that mod but this could be interesting for you http://www.loverslab.com/topic/70473-sims-4-spanish-translation-for-wickedwhims-traducci%C3%B3n-al-espa%C3%B1ol/
joisan139 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 amras5584, sorry for lame question, but I don't have a "vertexID to Clipboard"
amras5584 Posted January 16, 2017 Author Posted January 16, 2017 https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9zi2gt8dyllaj/doa5mod you must download the Blender plugins (for Blender folder) and INSTALL. Go to File > User Preferences and click on Install from File. Browse to the plugins and install all one by one. Now you need to activate it by selecting the mark on the beggining of the name. The one you need is "Mesh: VertexID to Clipboard". Is more easy to find it if you click on User under Categories. This is what I have: No questions are lame, if you no try you will never know...
joisan139 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 I installed all plugins from folder "for Blender" but there is no plugin "Mesh: VertexID to Clipboard" What I have: Maybe it was replaced by something else. Can you give a link to this plugin only?
