Not completely sure what you mean, but just extract the .rar normally. ONLY PART 1; LEAVE PART 2 ALONE.

 

when extracting first one it wanted to see get second part right away. Mod is working.

These are hilarious. I wish you could add a buff to this interaction so that sims get an embarassed moodlet if another sim is within a certain radius while they're watching this kind of thing XD

Could you make this channel not replace other channels  (I would like to keep the romance channel ) and that was simply another channel that the sims (teenagers up to old men and women) can enjoy?

I want that too. But in the tutorial I followed. The creator never found a way to create a brand new channel without replacing the old one. If someone would to find a way to do that, I would totally rework the mod into a separate channel. Which would be easy as the video processing is the hard part.

Im a huge fan of your work and my girls love your TV channel! They don't seem to watch much else (no complaints!)

 

I wondered if it would be possible to add something to the desktop computer please?

 

I've found some camsex mods from Sexysims before, one had an animation too, but only for a male, so I made a desk animation for a masturbating female,

 

only thing is I've totally struggled in trying to have a vid play,

 

I used a camsex mod that replaces the socialize > chat interaction, but when Wickedwhims starts, the screen shuts down

 

I tried to create this as a default replacement instead but it's well out of my league and gave up before I broke something

 

Tried to find a tutorial but couldn't locate one,

 

 

Would this be something you'd mind considering?

The tutorial I followed only mentioned how to change the playlist for the TV channels, but not the playlists for the videos that play on the computer. I have absolutely no clue where to start looking for the computer playlists.

 

The only thing I can give you are the extracted video files for the videos that do play on the computer. If you want to replace the videos yourself, follow these steps. Use the files in this rar for their filenames and the videos themselves to help you differentiate them apart.

Videos that play on the computer.rar

 

1. Open one of my packages in Sims 4 Package Editor (after you make a copy of it)

 

2. Double click on the AVI file

 

3. and replace the INSTANCE of the video,

 

4. for example, in my package, the instance says 0xABC0000000000001

 

5. replace ABC0000000000001 (without the 0x) with the code that's in the THIRD portion of the video file's name (the video file that you want to replace)

 

 

EXAMPLE

S4_376840D7_00000000_30C01E04BD0FA468%%+_AVI.avi

highlighted in GREEN is the portion of the filename you need to replace the instance in my package.

 

6. When done, click OK and save the package file.

 

7. Rename the package so that it doesn't replace the TV channel video.

 

If this seems like a messy work around, that's because it is. This is the only way that I know of until someone is able to find the computer's playlist. Need to mention that someone needs to find where to replace the computer's "flavor text" as well.

I can't seem to make this mod work, do i need to do something else or just unpack them in my mods folder?

After extensive testing, I can now confirm that there is nothing wrong with this mod. Instead, custom furniture items such as new televisions is what causes issues with availability of the Porn channel. Remove those and the channel should show up again.

The mod itself works but certain modded furniture items (modified televisions and possibly even the baths and showers) and mods such as Jens85's Wicked Jobs which uses this as a dependency for the computer porn will interfere with its proper function after the most recent update patch for The Sims 4.

Try updating your object cc with the Sims 4 Studio (latest version) to be compatible with the Pets expansion.

All the mod does is add new videos to the romance channel. So I really don't know why the pets expansion effects my mod.

Haven't updated my game yet, don't plan to any time soon since I'm lazy and don't feel like playing this game right now.

Just to note, sims4studio was not used to create this mod if anyone is wondering.

The issue with the WickedJobs mod that caused this channel to disappear has been resolved. Both mods can now be used together without issue.

I believe it depends on which zip program you use, (either 7Zip or RAR.) 

Download both RAR/7Zip files (the videos are split between the files) and extract all video files from both, and the flavour text and video playlist files from one. Plonk them all in a folder within your mods folder and all should be hunky dory.

Thank you. I did exactly all that but it doesn't work for me. I click on the TV and the option doesn't appear. How do i watch the channel?
