how do I make racemenu allow more tattoo slots?

really not enough for my tastes, so do I tweak the ini?

Go to your SKSE folder (...Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins) and open the nioverride.ini with a txt editor, look for these lines below...

 

[Overlays/Body] ; "Body [Ovl#]" and "Body [sOvl#]"
; Determines how many body overlays there should be
iNumOverlays=6 ; Default[6]
iSpellOverlays=0 ; Default[0]

 

Change the iNumOverlays value from 6 to whatever you want, save, done.

OK, I have a problem. I have slavetats installed along with multiple tat packs. However despite the menu being on the mcm menu no tats show up for face OR body. Only direct racemenu tats will show when i use the showracemenu command. Can anyone help please?

That is how it's supposed to work. You apply SlaveTats through the SlaveTats MCM menu which is pretty self-explanatory.

When you down load tats make sure they actually say they are Slavetats and not Racemenu Overlays. Both are very different things. All my manual installs are marked so I can see in mod manager which will show only in Racemenu and which only in Slavetat McM menu's.

then I would check data files to make sure they installed into the right file, sometimes you may find 2 of the same but in different area, example 1 in Data/.... the other in Data/textures/... if so transfer (cut paste) the one in Data/... into Data/textures/...  so the game pulls from just the 1 file option which is most likely data/(main File Type)/(sub file type)

So you need to apply them using the SlaveTat McMenu. As I said, it is really easy although you do have to wait until you're in the game (that is after you're down with RaceMenu).
