Break Undies armors.

I finally created custom BU armor using meshes from DMRA wardrobe and it's addon. It's working fine, but I'm trying to make 3rd and 4th meshes working with BBB. I merged everything in Nifskope like before, but it crashes Oblivion/CS.

 

LeinaArmor3.nif - Here's mesh that causes crashes. I set everything correctly, no idea what's wrong. Would be nice if someone could check this mesh out. You may need textures from DMRA wardrobe.

 

EDIT: Started from merging parts again. Result - works like charm. If anyone is interested in new DMRA BU armor I can upload my esp ;)

Okay, newbie question following a few tutorials and hopefully will have something neat by tomorrow, but I have a quick question.

 

I'm currently editing the Dancing Shadow Rose BU meshes to work with the EBE H-cup top and also sort of mix and match it with the argent armor greaves+arms to make something I think looks really cool, and I have a question.  For the last two "broken" meshes the tits are completely in the open, yet the mesh bounces like they're still restrained.  Is there any way to make the tits bounce properly in animations while the cuirass is on, if and especially if they're out in the open?

 

EDIT:  Oh yeah, is there any chance there's a way to make the animations from the motion changer effect the player character?  If I can figure out how I might try to edit those animations to fit the H-cup bodies as well, currently those animations have hands going through the tits they're trying to cover, it's not good to say the least...

Here's how you get the armor in Nightwynd's and squares's post working.

After you download the armor, and then the BU version of it (I used squares's post for the links. It's right before Nightwynd's.) there's a little more to it than just merging the two.

 

In the BU version's folder there's a Data folder and then one of the two folders in japanese ALSO has a Data folder. You need to take the Meshes and Textures in there, and add them to the first Data folder in the BU version. After that, you can move the Data folder from the BU version to the regular version and then move the new merged Data folder to your Oblivion one.

 

In your BreakUndies.ini file paste this:

After that, just go ingame and enable it in Lovers selecting the Heilige esp file.

As squares had posted, you MUST have the bra textures from R18PN - Lingerie Set for HGEC installed as well, or you'll be missing textures when the armor breaks.

 

I have tested this myself, a few minutes prior to this post. It works, and it is BBB enabled for all stages of cloth destruction.

It's pretty good.

 

EDIT: The chest is in the Arena District, where all the other R18PN stuff would be. Also, there are multiple armors in the chest. The BK coloured upper armor is the BU enabled one. For your lower body, grab the Pantu. You can choose whichever hat, gloves, or boots you want.

dunno if the creator will like this as seens in nexus he disabilited the downlaod...

its version 4.6, the .7z its a omod ready so you can just create one... or unzip it and do it manualy...

 

and yes, doing it on the ini its less of a headache than puting the script in the armor trought obse+tecs , as the script only saves if obse is running... the good part of this its dont clich if have 2 armos in same range (like one break and sudden the other do too, dunno if this is still happening but well...)

as i done a merge whit all the links in the opening post... i choose to put on the armor... and maybe will add this heile to my collection later...

As much as that isn't to my taste...that does look pretty damn awesome. If there was a way of doing a BU style system for player health instead of armour health, then we could add cuts, bruises and other damage as the players health deteriorates.

I am currently experimenting with something along those lines, I'm not exactly happy with the results. The system I'm currently using relies on shaders. So bruises end up making my character look like a plague carrier.

 

It's also not a part of BU so it isnt in sync with what BU is doing which so far makes things look pretty dumb overall.

 

I'm thinking that it may be better to just create the minor cuts and bruises from seperate meshes and mix them in with the earlier stages.

 

What I would really like to do though is to make it so that the character has to visit a surgeon too, and not just an armorer.

The game crashes when I use the breakundies motion changer.  Otherwise, my BU mod works fine.

The script in zzBreakUndiesAddonMotionChanger.esp that is crashing is called "zzBUAIdleReplacerScript."

Is it conflicting with LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp from xLovers?

Could we possibly get a BreakUndies.ini from someone who has all/most of the mods? Alternatively how do we find out the form id of an item cos thats what im struggling with. I wish the mod makers would have put a bit more about the ini changes in their readmes, I didnt even realise you needed to add that info to get them to work.

There's a program called TES4Edit that you can use.

You load that program up, go to the .esp file of the armor then just click on the armor's file and it'll be in the information for it. You only need the last 6 characters of the FormID.

I actually hunted around and got tes4edit before your post, and was really confused as to why my R18 Lingeries clothes always defaulted to the same armour after editing, thanks for clearing that up. Im trying to add some more armours myself and will post my ini if I can get them working, for the benefit of others

Not all BU armors have a built in BU script. In fact, most don't.

This is mainly due to BU armors being for the most part patches. A change of meshes.

So the ini is used to replace the original armor mesh with the BU meshes.

The ini is also neater since you can organize your armors and change up how they work easier.

At the same time, you don't need to know much about scripting (Just enough to read instructions, and then copypaste.) to get it to work.

The ini ALSO will overwrite a BU armor's original script should you enable the setting. That's fantastic should you find a patch that say adds BBB support, or is better detailed.

It also lets you set custom messages when your clothes tear and the like, if you want.

 

Really, it's just better.
