The overwhelming majority of people (lets just say in "western culture" because it's what I know) agree that a partly undressed kid (i didn't see the pic, just read the desc's early in the thread) touching his crotch is pedophilic, regardless of context or media/depiction... whether he's peeing, scratching, beating it, or hiding it. It's not their problem, as you found out. Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation. You're not going to convince anyone that it's ok, that they're weak, that they're over-sensitive, that it's just polygons, that it's just a low res pic... because, simply put, they are in the majority opinion. Why would it even occur to you to include that as an example of what your mod does if that isn't what you were going for? It's pretty clear from yours and Emma's argument--involving the fact that children actually do masturbate--that innocent touching isn't what was going on. You then compare it to Romeo and Juliet, which while featuring 13 year old characters did not star 13 year old actors. Most movie versions age up the characters considerably, and don't mention their original ages. Furthermore, you did not use the teenage mod, or a young model. You used the Jarl's son character, who is literally prepubescent. Shakespeare was depicting pubescent teenagers of legal (for Elizabethan times, which were certainly fucked up in many ways) marrying age. I saw that version in high school but it must have been edited. However, some simple googling reveals that 1. It was filmed in 1968--people were up to some odd stuff in the late sixties 2. It was very controversial. 3. I found the scene in question (no, I'm not linking)--Hussey spends the vast majority of the scene covered by a sheet and strategically placed long hair (her hair wouldn't have stayed there if it hadn't been put there). You only see her breasts when she turns quickly to jump out of bed. It is not a sex scene. It is a lying-in-bed in the morning scene. It's actually far tamer than what you'd see in most R-rated movies. You, on the other hand, apparently put a Jarl's son model in an Adult Show XXX pose. Shakespeare is fully of dirty puns.
