Soulslayerzx Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 So today, I got banned on SkyrimNexus for uploading a photo where a child (boy) wearing clothes was touching a crotch for my file "Skyrim - The Nudist Era of Tamriel". I can't believe I got banned. I followed all the guidelines and terms of service and they claimed it as child nudity when there wasn NOT a single pixel of nudity in my mod. All my mod did was make everyone naked by default, not naked, but not wearing armor, wearing the default inner clothes, unless you have an adult mod, I set my mod as adult-only and people were starting to bitch and I asked for help by this one mod, trusted the wrong person or something. Banned me. It was a lazy ban, there was no child nudity involved in my mod. The Picture is attached. I'm supposing this is a more mature website? It's fuckin ridiculous how I get banned for something so little, there's nude mods on there, masturbating animation mods, and many adult nude mods, and I got banned for an invalid reason? Here's my unban note: "Today, I got banned because I uploaded a picture for my file that was adult-only. he thing is that there was no child nudity. The children were obviously wearing clothes and it was this one picture where this boy npc was masturbating when it was triggered by this mod that caused the process known as ASX. I don't see why I should be banned as I followed the terms of service. My mod did not feature child pornography. It just made everyone naked for the laughs, they'd still be wearing inner wear if they didn't install any mod that made them actually naked. I seeked "The Vampire Dante'"s help and all he did was ban me before I could even privately explain my question whether or not my image qualified the terms of service. This is not contradictory as according to those two passages, my image should be accepted and I was unsure of what the terms of service meant by "general", it simply stated that such images would cause some users to have negative responses, but did not say I would be banned. I wanted to clarify what "general" meant by the terms of service so I asked. So according to these two passages in the terms of service: •Any files that contain sexual images or reference of sexual acts with minors (people under the age of 18 or people who look under the age of 18) and animals, incite racial or religious hatred or are generally designed to spark a negative reaction in certain demographics beyond what is accepted within the UK/US media will be removed and accounts banned. To further clarify: what would be acceptable within the film and video game industry in the UK/US is generally acceptable on Nexus sites. As of the 12th of May 2010 a private "Supporter" only Image Share section is available for Supporter members of the site. This section may contain images of all types within the legal bounds of the internet. That is to say that nudity is permitted but any images that wouldn't be legally acceptable (such as pictures of naked children, bestiality, necrophilia, copyrighted content etc.) are still not allowed. I shouldn't have been banned and my file followed all the guidelines. In the 1968 film Romeo and Juliet, Olivia Hussey, playing as Juliet was only 13 and was filmed with her bare breasts. That movie was allowed throughout the world including the United States of America and the United Kingdom. This seemed like a lazy ban that "The Vampire Dante" had assumed that I had some child nudity on my mod when I simply did NOT. I hope someone could further explain to me why I would be banned when I followed the terms of service, explained it, put my mod as adult only, I did not feature a single pixel of nudity in my mod, and I did not make the mod that allowed npcs to do naughty animations. I thought the Nexus was a mature place if you put your file to adult-only. I simply put that and there are no nudity mods for children on the Nexus which I'm pretty sure would be removed if there were. All that anyone could do was to download my mod and have a few laughs seeing everyone just wearing inner clothes, no armor. Now to refer back those two passages: There was no nudity in my mod, nor my pictures. Nudity means total nakedness and my mod did NOT feature that concept. Romeo and Juliet was allowed to be played in the U.S. and U.K. with a girl showing her bare boobs, partial nudity? It did show private portions of the human body. My mod did not do any of that. It was a solid fact that the children were not naked. Therefore it should not count as nudity. If only adults saw my mod, they would be mature about it and just walk around seeing people not wearing armor. That's all there is to it. If such images are not allowed, then mods such as PedoBear should NOT be allowed as well since they suggest Child Pornography and Child Molesting. If my explanation for my 1 image that did NOT feature child nudity is not enough. I hope the admins could acknowledge me and the hard work that took me months in my other mods and let me stay. I promise to NEVER let such images/files/conjurations be uploaded onto the Nexus ever again if I am unbanned. I hope to receive pleasant news by tomorrow or an explanation. I hope for a better tomorrow where I can login and see my mods back and I will delete the inappropiate image on my Skyrim - The Nudist Era of Tamriel mod first thing. If I am still banned then. I hope this issue can be resolved soon. I can also be contacted at: Here's my e-mail : email Here's my youtube: youtube Anyways, sorry for the inconvenience, but I really enjoy the SkyrimNexus community and all the help I've been given to work on my mods. I plead for another chance. Thank you, Soulslayerzx" I am fucking dissapointed at the staff. Stupid degenerates always have to ruin my experieneces at sites. I set it to adult only and they still bitch about shit. Fuck. I like the community there as how people help you on modding, as I have several friends on there, but this is fuckin bullshit. I've read several posts about this troll admin banning many people, exactly why I joined here to see what people do after they get troll-banned. This seems like a pretty good forum alright seeing the categories and topics.
Queen Bee Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 TL;DR But looking at the pic there, I can understand the ban. It's one thing to show lolis in revealing outfits. It's quite another to post pics of a (mostly) naked underaged boy grabbing his own crotch. I can't blame them for reacting the way they did. And word to the wise, wall of text complaints don't do much besides annoy people. I know you're upset and feel like you have good reason to be. Hell, maybe you do. But there's a difference between pleading your case and beating people over the head with your feelings of injustice. I hate to use the word "butthurt", but it's what springs to mind. So relax. Take your ban and wait it out. And please, think before you upload pictures like that again. A little common sense goes a long way.

[/quote'] The picture wasn't even that much of a deal, they're seriously gonna bitch about polygons mastrubating in a game. Also, I followed the terms of service. It was a ban that wasn't looked into. Well, there were other nude mods and sex mods on there, didn't expect something so small to get me banned. Fuckin pussies.
Deman40 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Don't know if you realize it but "Loli" content that is adult in nature will get you banned or your post deleted almost anywhere including here. The nexus has much more stupider reason to ban people besides obvious infractions.

Jexsam Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 You posted a picture of a little boy doing a female masturbation animation and you're surprised you got banned? When did using an Adult Show XXX animation on a child, taking a picture, and then posting it seem remotely like a good idea?
squares Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Welcome to the LL. This subforum is for adult mods discussion( as title says, btw ). Try there: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=4168
Clarkson Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Yeh just posting a child in any sort of compromising position is just a bad idea and you should have had to common sense to not do it. People are sensitive about that kind of stuff and rightly so
Guest Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I think pretty much everyone here agrees that most Nexus mods are fucktards but what you did was pretty much the worst idea to ever come to someones mind that is active on the Nexus (well besides talking about raping people or how you pirated your Skyrim...probably)
Ark of Truth Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 After reading this whole thread. TVD did have a vaild reason to ban you, like scoobyswanson said you would of got in trouble here too.
thehurtbear Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 the ban was not a valid decision .. every user has the right to receive a warning before ban , just like irl you get fined or let off with a warning . the skyrim nexus is a nazi-ran site by nazis who will ban you for the littlest of things , they show no mercy . i feel sorry for you soulslayer they were not right in issueing a straight ban without warning .
Lexi SubZero Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I guess you couldn't pick a worse mod to judge your case... It's a well known fact that The "Sparkling" Vampire Dante is one of the biggest dicks over there. IMO only "Official Old Fart" can surpass him in total and utter dickery. Welcome to LL then...
Guest Deliria Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Usually I agree their bans are usually harsh, but come on, it was a kid in a sexual pose- what did you expect?
Soulslayerzx Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Thanks to all for replying. I wonder if I'll ever be unbanned, but this seems like a better community anyways. @emmalong: Exactly what I thought.
thehurtbear Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 if the child had clothes on then the ban shouldnt be in effect , how many f***ing times have you seen a child irl do something of the same ?? you dont jail children irl for doing that you just warn them .. its how society is , a straight ban is harsh . i dub the skyrimnexus skyrimnazi edit: not to mention it wasnt even a real child its a 3d polygonic model so its not even real
Queen Bee Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 if the child had clothes on then the ban shouldnt be in effect ' date=' how many f***ing times have you seen a child irl do something of the same ?? you dont jail children irl for doing that you just warn them .. its how society is , a straight ban is harsh . i dub the skyrimnexus skyrimnazi edit: not to mention it wasnt even a real child its a 3d polygonic model so its not even real [/quote'] I'm sympathetic to the concept of virtual vs. real and the idea that the former is harmless while the latter is abhorrent and deserving of jail time. But most people don't see it that way. There are a lot of places where ANY depiction of underaged sex is a crime, but even if it was legal everywhere, it's still a hot button issue for a lot of people and it can tarnish the image of a respectable website if they allow it to be present. They're probably doing this to save face, and I can't blame them for it.
Guest Vendayn Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Which actually, loli are illegal in California...possibly in the U.S. Not to turn it politically...but Bush banned loli, so it isn't actually legal anymore. Actually, I haven't heard much of this, so it may have been a false rumor going around...I haven't bothered to look, not my thing. Anyway, I've never had a problem with Nexus. But they are rather ban happy over there...I don't even post screenshots there anymore, since my character has boobs visible, and that is supposed to be bannable over there. It doesn't show nipples or anything, but I'm not taking the chance. Only thing I do on Nexus, is download mods and if I really like it, post a comment. If not, I move on. They'll ban you if you are negative.
turbosnowy Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 @emmalong - umm none? This is just goddamn creepy imo. Still cannot fathom how this was ever concieved of as a good idea, and how 'suprising' the inevitable result was.
caperpp Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 IMO, for centuries there has been art depicting nude children, such as cherubs and such. If it wasn't in a sexual way, then you shouldn't have been banned.

[/quote'] Except this wasn't an act performed by a child, this was (I assume) an adult intentionally creating an image that depicted a child in a sexualized pose posted on a website visited by hundreds, if not thousands of people who would object very strongly to its presence. @emmalong - umm none? This is just goddamn creepy imo. Still cannot fathom how this was ever concieved of as a good idea' date=' and how 'suprising' the inevitable result was. [/quote'] well thats your opinion ..... others may find it rahter funny or even cute ... your opinion isnt the ruling mass universal law . You're right, one person's opinion isn't the ruling law. But the majority's is, especially when it comes to a commercial website that owes its paychecks to people's web traffic. If the people don't like what's on that website, they won't visit it and the website will go out of business. This means that they WILL take down anything that threatens their business. This is the world we live in, where the majority of people don't like ANY depiction of underaged sexuality. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm saying that's the way the world is. Until something comes along to change people's view on this, we'll just have to suck it up and deal.

It's not the people that may find it funny or cute that are the reason why this kind of thing is not socially acceptable in any Western society...
