I think there might be something wrong with the download for the npc replacer. when I try using it in the mod manager I can only select the add npc box or there will be an error. I tried placing them in the data folder manually, but when I tried extracting the files it wouldn't do it all the way and it would make an error sound. I was able to get the necessary files out of it for the replace npcs and it did work, until I restarted Skyrim. I tried putting the files back into the correct folders but I can't get it to work again.

 

and on an unrelated not, is there a mod that will add underwear to the female models when their clothes are taken off?

I downloaded the same file twice; once from the link I posted and the second time from within my Mediafire account. No problems with downloading and no corrupted files.

 

I was able to install the different replacers without problems and restarting the game did not cause any errors.

 

Here are some things to remember:

1) Don't use WinRar unless you plan on extracting a .rar file or creating one.

2) Always extract a mod first to verify if it comes with options. Some of the Elin mods are mod manager friendly while others are meant to be installed manually.

 

I'll post another link to Elin NPC and Enemies.

 

Before reinstalling the Elin NPC and Enemies, do the following:

1) Remove all traces of the failed install.

2) Start the game and create a new save. Exit game.

3) Manually install the files you want + the Patch that is included.

4) The mod should now work.

Another problem for me, for some reason, my Summon Elin bugged out and when I wear it, it drains my health but it says Failed to Summon Elin. Any way to fix it? And thank you again for helping me fix the CBBE body. Now my Elin can conquer Skyrim with the power of love, kindness and blood.

Which Summoning Ring are you using? Mine or Dscythegeo's.

 

Either way, try reinstalling the mod. If that didn't work then uninstall, start game, create new save, exit, reinstall Summon Ring, and start game from new save.

Hey im trying to find a solution to the monli race making female npcs small, i read a couple of pages in this thread but didnt see anything that could help, does anyone have a fix for that prob?

How it is possible to receive a lot of Elin by means of an appeal ring? I can receive only one or two Elin.

So if you play a child sized race how does that affect animations like cooking and enchanting? I know in NV or FO3 they head replacement animations where the kid would stand on a box for high stuff.

Any way to properly delete elin idle animation? I delete meshes, esp, BSA, run FNIS and now my elin stand like a mannequin, completely static.

You can make changes to the Summon Elin mod to make it do whatever you like; summon a small army of Elins, remove all penalties for summoning, make them over-powered, etc.

Because of her size, the Elin will glitch into the enchanting table when using it. This also happens when using the smithing table. I have checked with the cooking pots.

 

I'll have to keep an eye out for the animation replacer you mentioned.

It's a new race I'm working on that's based on CotS. I was originally creating a UNP version of the lsCastanic.

When you say "more normal face" do you mean "more human face"?

 

I have not seen an Elin race with that feature, not even a private mod. However, it can be done. Once I'm finished with the Venus (I'll probably change the name) race, I'll use her to make a 'human' Elin and yes, there will be both a UNP and CBBE version.

Hi, I have been trying to fix my gaming computer but no luck. I think I'm going to build my own around thanksgiving so i get the parts cheaper. I'm so sorry, I haven't tried your Derivelin and human-elin yet but i like this character preset in the screenshot that I attached with this post. It was actually posted by you. So I'm assuming this is Derivelin but not as tall as skyrim adults. Is it simple to make them as tall as skyrim adults? I think you have more mods to work on so i don't really want to take your time.

 

And refering to kanagan81's post, is the tall elin in his 2nd screenshot a mod of yours? If yes, what's the name of the mod?

sorry ale musím to psát svojim jazyce. tohle si přeložte jak chcete. Elin závod a Děti závod jsou v rozporu a nikdy nemůže být kompatibilný s dawnguardem. Mě se to seká a hra havaruje. crash bum. Jestly někdo ví proč a nebo čím to je tak poradtě. Jinak fakt sorry ale já nemůžu psát anglicky. neumím anglicky.. Tohle si přeložte...

Co MODS máte? Jiní používají Elin mod v Dawnguard a nenechám dojít k pádu hry. Dostanu Dawnguard + hearthfire brzy a pak můžu udělat závod Elin kompatibilní.
