I'm with Lastelle, her chaurus stud and inside the Brood Cave.  My quest says "Protect Lastelle and eggs"  - is there anything else after that to advance the Chaurus Queen and the Brood Maiden quest further?

It's weird because I have yet Horny creature, sexlabs etc. I launched Irresistible Target on a chaurus and then on my companion (Serana) but she was never infected.

That's all there is at the moment.

 

I have a script planned for a chapter 2 and 3 , but I still have to write dialogues, prepare pros, ingredients and magic effects before I can bring it to life.

i had download the SE version while using the normal version on skyrim, i got it to work

Are there any Bodyslide files for the parasites available? Specifically UUNP ones? Whenever my character is infected by one of the parasites, her body completely changes to another one.

Double check chaurus worms and barnacles, I can't seem to see them on my PC when either added in the MCM or naturally in-game.

 

I've tested it on a new save,

cleaned save,

placed mod at the bottom,

made it the only mod in the load order along with it's dependencies.

made sure it had all it's dependencies,

made sure dependencies were on the latest versions.

checked forum to see if others had the problem. Some did, but they went unanswered.

 

I'm using the LE version, updated on the 9th of April.

 

Edit: I'm using ZAZ 8.0, would that be the problem? If this mod strictly uses 6.11, then it'll have some incompatibilities since others are moving over to 8.

I don't know... Parasites is using Devious Devices for attachments, not Zaz. 

The requirement for Zaz is there for some compatibility but the most important mods are Devious Devices and dependencies.

The update is for both. The LE file is "KynesBlessing20190409", the SE file is "Sexlab_Parasites_SE_April_2019"

Should I be able to struggle out of the parasite, or is that going to cause problems? Because I was able to pull it off of my character even though Danica wouldn't help me...live with it, and control it...omg I'm Naked woman, I want to wear clothes. Even if they barely cover what the parasite exposes.

I would be checking the visibility settings in Devious Devices rather then checking Zaz. Almost all the parasites are organic variations of DD restraints. As for the chaurus worms, I would recommend getting Animated Parasites, since the worms normally are labeled as a anal/vaginal plug device, you won't see much of it poking out anyway. But this is rather odd. 

Are you perhaps using some sort of Mod Organizer? There have been cases of MO/NMM/Vortex not completely installing a mod from it's archive file, resulting in inconsistencies.

I'm at a loss at the moment, I've ruled out Devious Devices as regular harnesses equip just fine, meaning there's not a problem with that slot. The MCM menu for Kyne's now no longer tries to equip the barnacles, as the check quickly appears and disappears  while the message box comes up, indicating it's infecting the character, however nothing changes.

 

If it currently works for you on the latest version, let me know. Specifically if the barnacle infection works when activated in the MCM menu.

So I played through a bit with Papyrus enabled, looked through the logs, then played a bit again. I've come to a conclusion: the mod is working correctly. The barnacles, face hugger belt and face hugger gag are location specific, and it seems they cannot be equipped if you are in a location that is marked as indoors, even from the MCM menu. I don't know if this was intentional on the part of @DeepBlueFrog, or if it is some sort of oversight. I do know that when I stepped in the open outdoors and activated each of them in the MCM, they all were added and equipped.

That's a good point... I will make a note to move the requirement of location for the trigger outside of the call for infection, so that it can be called from anywhere.

I spent hours troubleshooting in the Alternate Start Cell and confirmed that the meshes existed and were in the right location, was wondering what was going wrong ?. Stepped outside and the MCM controls work for Face huger and Barnacles.

That's something I'll have to check a bit later. The spider egg DD device is based on the actual spider eggs in the vanilla game, and rely on their meshes/textures. I just do playthroughs on Skyrim instead of runs to check for bugs, so I haven't had many adverse encounters with spiders or spider egg sacs yet.

 

Also, @DeepBlueFrog: Since it seems that the Living Armor and Tentacle Monster parasites are based on some previous works and have associated bodyslides, I'm going to try to duplicate said bodyslides and modify them to point towards the appropriate mesh folder for the mod.

For  version SE. Script slp_fcts_parasites.pex does not determine the version and does not work the scale.

Someone may delete this line from the script. I do not know how to work with scripts.

Oof, nice catch. I'll have to see if I can tinker with that a little bit.

 

Okay, I've looked through the source script. That particular line is attached to XPMSE requirements check function, and plugin version has no bearing on it. The MCM does specify that the eggs are present when testing the function, so I think your first call of a faulty mesh was probably the correct one.
