It's a nice interpretation but unfortunately, no intentional.

This is because of Skyrim's treatment of multiple followers to avoid collisions around doors. The more followers you have, the further away from you they go.

And since the chaurus spawns count as followers, they are causing that effect.

 

You can reduce it by lowering the number of spawns in the menu.

Chaurus Armor Weapon should become a spell and not a shout. As a spell...you could chose in which hand you want the blade. or if you want to dual wield them. 
Perhaps the weapon could also have other variants. 
Queen's Cannon: A Crossbow-like weapon that shoots poisnous larvaes at enemies. Summoning the weapon creates a full quiver of 'Chaurus Needles' to shoot. (25?)
Queen's Stinger: A dagger that is enchanted with a very strong poison. 

Queen's Blade: A longer blade then the stinger. Chitinous blade formed out of the queen's arm, forming an actual sword. 

Queen's Tail: Uses Devious Devices' bindings to bind hands, and fight with feet and tail. Considered a 2H blunt weapon, with high chances of staggering as the tail hits are quite heavy. 

Queen's Shell: Can only be used in the off hand. This summons a shield made out of the chaurus queen's chitin. (Might look similar to a falmer shield?) 

Summoning Mechanic:

The spells do not consume Magicka, instead they consume Chaurus Eggs.

 

New Crafting Station, in Sanctuary:

Allows to modify the Chaurus Queen weapons by binding trace amounts of other materials into them. Each weapons are tracked individually, and requires the blacksmithing perk that normally allows to use that material to start with. So you will need very high blacksmithing skills to be able to bind dragon bone into your Queen Weapons. 

 

Queen Form Suggestion:

To allow proper interaction with armor perks, the Queen Form would also equip items over hands, head and feet. This item need only be a placeholder tagged as Heavy Armor.

Chaurus Queen Claws (Hands)
Chaurus Queen Talons (Feet) 

Chaurus Queen Chitin (Chest) 
Chaurus Queen Mandibles (Helmet) 

 

Queen's Weapons special interactions with humanoids
When defeated, humanoids do not die, but rather do like Essential NPCs, and lay there crouching. This only happens if you are in Queen Form, using one of the chaurus weapons, or bare hands. Before they can recover, you can walk up to them and have an interaction: Death, or Reproduction. First, you just plain kill 'em. Second, you get a good rape. At the end of the rape, a particle effect occurs, and instead of having a corpse, you have a 'Chaurus Cocoon' that is like those desiccated corpses you find in spider nests. After pumping 'em full of eggs, you wrap a safety cocoon about them to protect your babies while the hosts keep 'em warm. Lorewide... Those NPCs will eventually wake up, break out of the cocoon, to birth countless chaurus eggs (vagina and ass both) ...then leave and reconsider their life choices. IE: They'll be gone from skyrim so who cares what happens to them afterward? The cocoon has a few chaurus eggs added to them, allowing you to use them as a source of eggs to fuel your powers. 
This cannot be done to actual Essential NPCs of course! But you have other ways of making them pregnant with chaurus eggs anyways, right?

All good ideas to maybe explore later, but unfortunately, too much work and testing for this stage of the mod. 

 

I have a long list of things to do before getting back to this kind of improvements for Parasites.

This wouldn’t work for the chaurus queen armour, since, as you can see on the download page’s banner, the mouth is supposed to be a xenomorph-esque proboscis thing. I don’t how know how DeepBlueFrog got that to work for the picture, however.

 

This did remind me, though, of the head-facehugger: currently its liquids are coded as alcohol, but I was wondering if it could somehow be coded as soup, so as to satisfy both hunger and thirst in RND/iNeed, since you’re not supposed to be eating or drinking while it’s attached. If I remember correctly, iNeed allows you to decide the needs which are sated (hunger, thirst, or both), as well as the alcoholic quality (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) of food items, so I would assume that there’s a way to code facehugger fluids as alcoholic soup.

 

Also, DeepBlueFrog, if you would be willing, could you share some of the features or changes which you plan to include, or are currently working on? I’d love to know what’s in store for us.

That's a good point. I used alcohol because there is no soup in vanilla Skyrim, but I forgot I made the DLCs a requirement.

That means I can use soups instead of alcohol.

 

The other reason I used alcohol is for the impairment effect from other mods. 

 

I don't want to encore 'alcoholic soup' to work with iNeed in case people use other survival mods.

 

I will see if I can have a soup fed randomly in addition to the alcohol effect.

Any news on if nipple stuff (penetration/birthing) is gonna happen? Maybe some (bodyslided) "open" nipple body clothing with possibly wriggling things coming out/going in? Same with the vagina and anus? Would be really interesting to see a soul-gem-oven-esque version of this; different "levels" of different things being birthed. 

I'd give designing and animating it a go if I could, but I don't know my way around Blender or anything like that.

I haven't touched that for the same reason.. Blender is way above my skill level, and I don't have the time to sink in learning it.

 

There are some breast animated parasite things from Oblivion, but the nif files need to be converted over to Skyrim.

 

Without a good mesh, I won't explore that aspect of parasites anytime soon.

Damn, understandable though. There is the animated chaurus worm mod floating around, maybe that could help? Wouldn't be as complex as a wriggling/bending one, but put a few of them on a torso piece of clothing (nipples, pussy and anus, inyouchuu style) (or separate, still bodyslided though) and that would be pretty cool. Would be the result of lots of chaurus action.

The quest for the tentacle monster is stopped on submit and obey, I read that you can end up transferring the parasite via sex but I know there is parasite repellent, how should i continue the quest to find the recipe to create it?

Hey deep blue frog. So I had something happen to me in my game today. I had the tentacle monster armor on after I was messing around with chaurus eggs and got it. It's the first time I got it and I've had this awesome mod for 6 months now. Anyways well I went to Danica to see about getting it removed and she said she can't remove until I get control of it. What does that mean? Also I think it started talking to me as well, telling me to LET US GUIDE YOU. Am I crazy or is that suppose to happen?

I dont understand the problems with "not working of the parasite-animations".... the existing animations on loverslab are working fine... face-and hipp-huggers, even the cuirass is moving... just make a merge of sexlab-animations of your choice and put the parasite-animations at the buttom and do the magic with FNIS.... you will be surprised what "elder" stuff is working, if you use some common sense... what is working for mod-order and loot will work for FNIS, too

It really comes down to this "I don't have the time to sink in learning it" :)  

 

It might be common sense to you, but in my experience, this kind of experiment results in spending hours testing something, starting the game, trying it out, finding it doesn't work, stopping the game, trying something else, etc etc... I have spent countless hours over the past few years doing that kind of mindless, "flying blind" testing, and to be honest, I am sick of it.

 

These days, I prefer to spend that testing time to troubleshoot bugs, making sure what I already put in place is working and finishing the quests and stories I set out to do. 

 

Anything else is pushing me close to burning out and having to step away from Skyrim for months at a time.

The tentacles talking to you is normal. At this point, simply let them talk to you often enough for a quest objective to change.

It's 20 hours in the game that I am stuck in the tentacle monster quest. Since mcm infection / cure does not work, additem for parasite repellent every time I try to save the game it crashes, I know I can transfer parasite with sex (even if I don't like to finish the quest like this) and I tried, in a row, 5 times with Lydia, 3 with Vilkas and 20 with Farkas but nothing.....the only one is to uninstall the mod and reinstall hoping not to create too many problems

MCM cure not working is a clue of a deeper issue with the mod.

 

An error log would be useful before you try reinstalling.

It is never safe to uninstall and reinstall a mod. Most of my updates work by dropping the new version on top of an existing game.

So the only way to restart the quests is a new save game, I take it? Not that it matters, just started a new playthrough regardless.

I had this issue or at least I couldn't find it before getting impatient. I just used the additem mod to access them from the parasites mod menu tab. You can then just wear it and then talk to the elder root to progress.  If you use one of the shouts you gained from the quest, it "unlocks" the armour again so that it isn't treated like a devious device (you can take the armour on and off from the quick menu without DD message prompt).

Hi, I'm loving the mod so far and happy to see how much progress has been made since I last did a Skyrim LL modded playthrough. I'm currently doing the Broodmother quest and just acquired the armour and mask and the shouts but now I kinda regret not installing any flying mod you listed. 

 

Would it be a bad idea to install the Animated Wings Ultimate mod and it's dependencies in the middle of the quest if I wanted to fly? It's an optional dependency to your mod so I'm hoping that means it won't be a problem.

That shouldn't be a problem. I tested the flying side of the mod by doing just that - dropping the flying mod on top of this one in the middle of a game.
