A new update to Sims 4 is available now.

 

Just read the patch notes, and it appears to be another pointless update, that doesn't fix many of the core issues with the game. It only seems to skirt around the edges of the game, tinkering with hair fixes, seams in furniture etc.

 

Another patch day and nothing from the long list of problems on the Sims 4 forums have been touched. (And some issues go back as far as 2015).

I just downloaded everything and  a few mins of my game Origin send me a 'updating mesage.'          I can't wait for sims 4 to be done with so I don't have to worry about constantly updating my game and mods.

Hello! @anybody I wonder what is this -sex shop- message doing in my gallery. Anyone has this too?

I'm not saying it's because of the WW mod but is my only sex mod that I have, and I don't see any other issues in game.

My game is fully patched and my WW version is 212095-2  March 16 2017.

 

I seen that too, and i havent updated wicked whims to the march 19th update yet either.

I hate Maxis sometimes!  they update all the time and half the time the updates are useless! I bet this renders WW unusable yet again!

It does not. I'm concerned for other mods (like Go to school).

phew! glad to hear that, Redabyss as I love this and the game ain't the same w/o it! I have my auto updates disabled now. I bet Pets will interfere with this as well

The problem borns mostly with bigger packages, like, as you mentioned, Pets :/

hey guys im having a problem where whenever i try to marry, woohoo, and try for a baby my characters just stand there and dont do anything. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? thx =)

but the only script mod i have running is WW,i deleted the censor remove i had since it is not needed with WW ,went to get a new cutting and again got an excemption

tbf it only occurs in community lots and there is a known game bug that can cover it,i am also running 2.1.2.093 version of WW cause i did not have any problems with it and the changes after that were addressing themes i did not use

 

 

And ofc thanks for the warning on the possible update !!!

 

from the new maxis update notes "Taking a cutting from a wild plant will once again identify the plant from which it was taken."

so it was a game bug and not WW related excemption!!!

@other users, and not the mod dev because I understand this is not the place: Just to make sure I'm on the same page, everything seems to be working really well! The issues I've run into is that I can no longer press 'b' in build mode to auto-access the wall tool, nor can I use ctrl+shift+c to enter cheats. Are these the same issues you guys are having?

 

eta: I said 'work really well' but I really meant 'I'm in love with this mod, but there are times the characters stand in 'T' form in the center of the bed between stages or end up standing halfway across the room from each other for reasons unknown.'

I'm having issue after updating to 1.28 with the exhibition system. i have no exhibition menu when i click on my sim. im still on older version of wicked whims, the one before march 19th. when latest ww update came out i saw someone say there was problems with it, so i been waiting for next version. is march 19th version having exhibition issues with new sims 4 patch?

I believe you'd remove the WickedWooHoo folder from your 'saves' folder, and any WickedWhims related files from your 'Mods' folder. These can be found within your 'Sims 4' folder within the 'Electronic Arts' folder.

Hey! I struggled a lot at first but it gets easier, it's great that you tried, you should check out Redabyss's thread on Tips for Blender, it's very helpful combined with TURBO's tutorial adding to that, all the animators here are very approachable give great advice, I have no experience in this at all before, if I can do it, anybody can

 By the way, not experiencing these issues anymore. Maybe my game was just over-loaded yesterday.

Your latest version is a definite improvement over the last version.  Sims don't reset nearly as often when starting the animations anymore.  Animation duration is a huge improvement.

 

I have noticed that Wicked Whims generates exception errors too frequently the more sims there are on a lot.  When I have 20+ Sims on a lot I often get exception errors.  The Sims will sometimes get into a state where they raise their arms and then quickly drop them over and over again which continuously cancels all orders you give them.  I have to save and restart the game a bit too often to restore normal functionality.  That is the largest bug in the mod right now.  Wicked Whims should gracefully recover from exception errors, or better yet prevent them from occurring.  None of my other scripted mods cause them including MC Command Center and MC Woohoo which do a lot.

 

I do greatly appreciate your continued development and hard work on this mod!

I have edited almost every single sim in 2 towns with this command. 

Here I how I do it.

I start the game, go in the town view like normal but I do not select my houshold. You type the command there and then select Manage Housholds.

For there I select the one I want to edit I edit her/him.

Never had any problems.

Same here actually. The more sims i have on the lot the more they bug and reset, and the more last exception txt's I get. One yesterday crashed my game as I had 20 odd sims on the same lot. I'll Have to stick to just a few sims per lot for now.

I need help. ive download all the mods and when I say for some reason it is only showing 9 animations its not doing them all. I have downloaded, added the mods to the mod folder and still nothing. I even turned off custom content and script mods and turned them back on to see. I thought well maybe I need to add the mods to the whickedwimsmods folder where all of the basic mods to get running are and I can't do that because I get an "error file not found or no read permission. anybody know how to add more mods I only have the basics that come with the download. how am I able to add more postions?

Hey! It can cause problems if you create too many folders inside folders, your mods need to be un-zipped and put into the mods folder without burying them, some people use sub-folders but I don't personally, I just directly drop the files in and it works! Maybe try RE downloading a fresh copy of WW incase something missing and try
