Bodyslide differences between FO4 and Skyrim

Hello! I downloaded bodyslide for fallout 4 and noticed a few new sliders in the FO4 version. And some Skyrim sliders were missing as well.

Is there a reason why there's a big difference between the two?

Like in FO4s bodyslide there is a "Push together" slider for breasts that Skyrim doesn't have. And you can move the hips back as well, which seemed really interesting! And Skyrim has some sliders that the FO4 version is missing as well.

Is it likely that the two will be merged in the future? I'd love to have the hip positioning for my Skyrim. Though I think if used at too high of a number it will make animations bad.

Probably get more info in the consolidation post for FO4

It wouldn't make sense to add new sliders to the old CBBE for Skyrim, and we also don't want to.

First of all, it misses out on a lot of vertices. Second, not outfit that has ever been converted to CBBE BodySlide would automatically have the new sliders.

FO4 CBBE is new, so it has new things.

I don't see why it wouldn't make sense, or why people wouldn't want to. Especially with Skyrim's remastered edition coming soon.

I know the FO4 one is newer, but I don't think that should mean all development for Skyrim's CBBE should cease. If anything, I would think the remastered edition of Skyrim would give more to import the FO4 version to Skyrim.

Even if new sliders won't work on old outfits, I don't see how it would hurt the old outfits. If anything, people would go back and update the old outfits to have the new sliders. Or they just wouldn't have them, in which case it wouldn't be a terrible thing.

We don't have time to mod for all Bethesda games at once, so my priority is always the most recent one. That doesn't mean previous mods won't get fixes, but it's less likely they'll get more features.

Having said that, I was only referring to the current Skyrim. For the remaster, we'll bring a new CBBE in again (mods have to be/should be remade for it anyway).

Not sure if this is what you mean, but these sliders could simply be inactive for old conversions that don't support them, but be fully functional for all future conversions that have their morphs included?

That's what it would be like, yeah.

As I said, we won't be updating the CBBE for the old Skyrim, but we'll (with a 90% chance) make one for the new Skyrim remaster with more polygons and sliders, just like the FO4 one. And a different base shape as well.

I'm seeing the remaster as a fresh start for Skyrim, let's say to "clean up of all the junk and very old mods".

So, there will be a new body, with outfits that need to be properly ported to it, similar to the FO4 CBBE.

Will the new Skyrim CBBE have the puffy nipple option?.

It will hopefully be very similar to the FO4 one, and hopefully we can get it done.
