shiagwen Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Surely everybody here knows that octobre 28 a new hd version of skyrim will be released. it get its own creation kit, but Pete Hines says that most of the mods will be compatible. 64 bit system required. i would like to know some more details abouti it, if only weather and spell effects will be upgraded or armor, weapons, building textures, day / night, indoor dungeons, lighning in general will be effected too. What does the HD Version mean for Loverslab ? will all bodies look old ? new celente bodies and apachie hair ? new graphic cards necessary? Please post your informations and knowledge. thank you.
JobiWanUK Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Most mods won't be compatible. Anything that uses SKSE or SKUI won't work. There've been several posts about it on here, Nexus, videos on YouTube etc.
Mister X Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 - Updated graphics engine -> less texture mods should be needed, some ENB features should be natively included - Updated game engine (64 bit) -> generally spoken this could bring more stability, though many famous mods won't work anymore, basically every mod that needs SKSE will be incompatible as SKSE needs to be rewritten for the 64bit game engine. - Updated Creation Kit -> a new Creation Kit will be provided together with the game, only thing that's for sure is the upcoming console mod support, probably it also will cover some features of the FO4 CK Though now tell me why exactly you think that we have more information than you? We all use the same source with the WWW, so here are all available information gathered
prinyo Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Wow, an hour and a half and the thread is still not locked Now a mod will come and say that nobody knows anything about the new Skyrim and lock the thread for some reason as they did several times in the past weeks.
gregathit Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Locked. Please see the pinned thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/64902-skyrim-64bit-special-edition-information-thread/
