No i only use the wotc version. Here is a better screenshot.

I don't know if it's what you mean, but in case you have also installed the version for XCOM2 vanilla somewhere (under another folder name and not selected in the AML), it could cause some issues because the game may see it also. There is an option somewhere in AML to really deactivate the wrong version of a same mod and give priority to the WOTC version.

Those 3 mods are most probably not compatible with WOTC_LL_Pack.Lab.July.2019:

WOTCLegPack by mrace999

WOTCPropsPack by mrace999

WOTCTorsoPack by mrace999

They were a first update of kexx's mods for WOTC, proposed by mrace999 when WOTC was just released, and before that Kexx released his own version for WOTC (WOTC_LL_Pack).

Today, only the updated version from Ghaan (also based on first kexx mods) is still compatible with the last version of Kexx mods.

Wait, so mrace999's versions are the same stuff in different updates? I'm even more confused.

I just found a post by Quijibo35 from last year that I'll add in a spoiler, can you let me know it it sounds about right?

Spoiler

After digging through X's first thread (Thank goodness someone is indexing all these!) I was nevertheless very confused by all the WOTC_WOTCTorsoRack/Sack/Pack and all variations and unsure how this all fit together. I was also getting invisible meshes with other mods, namely Wrex/Kexx's SFW clothing on the workshop.

After much trial and error I believe the full and complete load out that combines MrRace's models and Wrex/Kexx's mods should look like this:

WOTC Props pack

WOTC Torso Rack

WOTC Leg Rack

WOTC_Leg_Sack

WOTC_LL_Pack

WOTC_Props_pack

WOTC_Torso_Sack

In other words, the Leg and Torso packs that end in Sack (Wrex's mods modified by ghanna) or Rack (MrRace's mods modified by ghanna) are the ones you want. The Prop packs you can use as is they don't conflict with each other. If you add anything else you'll get invisible meshes.

Mods to avoid are the plain Torso_pack or WOTC Torso Pack, especially together or with Wrexx's SFW clothing pack on the workshop. Additionally, do not  use the Nude_Pack as it conflicts heavily as well. Don't worry, all the content in these packs is already in the above 7 packs.

So as I understand it WOTC_LL_Pack.Lab.July.2019 is Kexx/Wrex's own WOTC update and is outdated. mrace999's is exactly the same stuff. Ghaan made a later update and Ghaan's 4 leg and torso files in WOTC_old_wrex_items_restored are the ones I should use along with WOTC Props pack, WOTC_LL_Pack and WOTC_Props_pack. But which files are they from? This is so confusing.

No, this is simple

As said Xskype in the index and his warning:

*Warning, all of the mods above conflict with each other and with Wrex456's new mods (listed below), as all of them work you can choose whatever you prefer.

All these mods below have been done just after the release of WOTC, all based on Wrex456's mod for XCOM2 (vanilla), and before Wrex456 adapts his mod for WOTC.

They are all outdated and not compatible with the new mods of Wrex456 for WOTC .

Spoiler

*Wrex456's mods converted to work on the DLC (ScorpioEX)

*Alterations and fixes for Wrex456's packs (Kalafus2002)

  • Lite Version (mods altered are still needed):
  • Standalone (works by itself)

*WOTC Leg Pack (mrace999)
*WOTC Torso Pack (mrace999)
*WOTC Props Pack (mrace999)

*Warning, all of the mods above conflict with each other and with Wrex456's new mods (listed below), as all of them work you can choose whatever you prefer.

When Wrex456 released his own version, he added some items but he also updated and deleted some others.

The mod of Ghaan adds again the first versions of those updated or deleted items.

He took the precaution to change their names to make sure they are compatible with any future updates of Wrex456 mods.

Therefore, this is the only mod based on the first works of Wrex456 which is still compatible with his new mods.

In the index (and in the "Armors/Clothing:" paragraph), you can therefore use the following ones with the mods of Wrex456:
Sloot Power Armors (mcmanus82)
Sloot Plate Armors (mcmanus82)

LL_Pack (ghaan)

Finally, in the index, the link to the mod Wrex456's Clothing NSFW (Wrex456) is unfortunately outdated. The correct one (WOTC_LL_Pack of November 2019) is:

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/57070-lewd-mods-and-xcom-2/page/80/?tab=comments#comment-2802775

PS:

Quijibo made a mistake in his comment: The Leg and Torso packs that end in Sack and Rack all come from the Ghaan mods (It's the way he found to distinguish his mods from the Wrex456 ones)

So, i'm apparently not half as good in modding as i think i am in troubleshooting mods, tryed a lot but can't do it.... but i have an idea, i don't know if any of you would pick and make it but here it goes, do we have an wotc mod that makes Sparks work like androids or cyborgs? like, looking like a human and all, terminator, aida, ex-machina soldiers could use it no? if it could work with LL packs then S2 oh... ok then, if anyone could teach me how the hell to make it i would love it, or create it yourself, better yet, thanks

So just a quick question - the "None" options for torso, arms, legs etc are invisible on the character. Is this supposed to be the case since there are various naked appearances as selectable items? Or failing that, does it actually matter? Are there any npcs who will ever use the None slot by default?

Does anyone know what mod the helmet in the screenshot is from? I have never seen it before and it's not in the customise list, it just appeared when I randomised the outfit. The game doesn't even recognise a helmet is equipped but still greys out some customisation options because a helmet is in the way. Are there hidden items in the game or something?

Thanks for letting me know. But any idea why it doesn't show up in my customisation options? Do I have to unlock custom armour like I do the weapons, except weapons still show in the loadout?

The legacy armors and helmets, like the old-school weapons and new soldier attitudes, have to be unlocked by completing the Tactical Legacy Pack's mini-campaigns.  Though if you uninstall and reinstall the game, the little flag enabling those things will get erased to, which sucks.  And I'm not sure how that helmet is showing up randomly if you haven't unlocked it "officially" yet.

Alternatively, use the TLP Unlocked mod.

I've been trying to get this working for a while but just can't. I tried to follow the guide on this page, trying to make out what has been found incompatible and I think I did it right. I deploy through NMM, then select the folder they're placed into in AML, and try to run WOTC. Without fail, the initial startup window opens, and after a few moments stops responding. This happens even when I try to load one mod at a time so I don't think its compatibility issues? I'm most definitely doing something wrong here. Should I skip NMM and install manually? A screenshot of my AML has been added. One glaring issue is that all of these file sizes are tiny. I mean faces of Xcom is -1 byte. According to AML, it has actually given me extra hard drive storage. Any advice would be helpful, and thank you kindly in advance.

Ok so I fixed it in like 5 minutes, I feel pretty dumb about it. If you're having this issue, disregard the Nexus Mod Manager guide in the original index post. You don't need or want it, just install it manually and use ALM. All this info was definitely somewhere on the other 16 pages of this thread but I figured I'd reiterate it.

So, this gem of a mod came out recently:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2560189445

Unlike Playable Aliens, the Vipers in this mod have their own animations (including ones that base vipers lack), can be assigned standard classes like Specialist and Grenadier, and most importantly, they can be CUSTOMIZED.

Granted, right now all you can do with customization is change their skin and select one of four heavily modified XCOM uniforms or their base armor, but all the various parts (arms, legs, body, head) have been seperated into their own model. This means we may actually now have a means to have nekkid sneks that don't require a full model swap.

Thanks! Yeah, it’s weird. It was literally the first time I’ve ever used the randomise feature and this helmet showed up I’ve never seen before. I never realised the legacy missions would give you more than the weapons so I’ll be playing them next I guess :).
