First, thanks a lot to doutoku who made motion related tools and plug-ins.

And I also want to appreciate people who dumped this files and who helped me to find these. (Protocol x27 and raidergale)

 

And I want to say that what I did was not even a conversion, because it was almost usable directly through doutoku's tools.

I simply found and opened the files and applied them and it worked, and who worked the most was dotoku who interpreted all binary data

of motion files and made them usable through his tools.

Trouble Shootings  (Before we start.)

 

There are countries using dot(.) as a decimal symbol and there are also countries using comma(,) as a decimal symbol. (1/2 = 0.5 or 0,5)

Doutoku and I made tools based on dot(.) decimal symbol, so if you are living in one of the countries listed below,

tools may not work as it is planned. (Click Spoiler)

So for this, you should change a few settings on control panel.

Dot(.) for decimal symbol, Comma(,) for Digit grouping symbol.

 

This can be handled while making the tool without changing these options.

But I really didn't know about these issues before and I can't 100% sure that I can handle them on every circumstances.

So setting it like above will fix the trouble in most guaranteed way.

How to Use

 

1.

Overwrite 'file5lr.dat' to [Archive Tool] folder.

And open [358142g.bin] with [Archive Tool] and extract all files.

You will see Paradise Movie motion data files.

 

And if you inject those motion files back into [358142g] after editing them,

you will see modded Paradise-Movies in game.

 

 

2.

You can edit extracted motion files with [Motion Data Tool].

 

in this case,

 

*.MPM is character motion files.

*.tdpack is camera files.

I'll use Ayane for example

You need to edit 2 files. ( AYANE_PARADISE.MPM,  AYANE_PARADISE.tdpack )

 

---------------------------------------------

 

Open [AYANE_PARADISE.MPM] with [Motion Data Tool].

 

 

Select [ 0 1 MOT00_Hips ] from [Motion Groups]

And drag [CNT_AYA_0440_BODY_S_MPM.csv] file into the Tool window.

 

Select [ 2 1 OPT_Hand_Left_Root ] from [Motion Groups]

And drag [CNT_AYA_0440_HAND_S_MPM_Bone_LEFT_HAND.csv] file into the Tool window.

 

Select [ 3 1 OPT_Hand_Right_Root ] from [Motion Groups]

And drag [CNT_AYA_0440_HAND_S_MPM_Bone_RIGHT_HAND.csv] file into the Tool window.

 

*.csv files are in [S Motion Set] folder.

(We are not going to edit Face motion.)

 

--- Click 'Save'. Now, Character Motion has been edited. ------

 

Open [AYANE_PARADISE.tdpack] with [Motion Data Tool].

drag [AYA_0440 Custom CAM.csv] file into the Tool window.

 

--- Click 'Save'. Now, Camera Motion has been edited. ------

 

 

3.

AYANE_PARADISE.MPM

AYANE_PARADISE.tdpack

 

inject these 2 files back into [358142g.bin] using [Archive Tool].

 

And it's done.

 

 

4.

Use ISLAND and POLE.TMC and ISLAND and POLE.TMCL files for the stage.

 

Now you can do this with Auto Link !   :shy:

Body Type & Matching

 

SS : Marie, Honoka

S : Ayane, Kasumi, Hitomi, Kokoro

L : Helena, Nyotengu, Momiji 

 

You need use SS motion files rightly to proper characters,

but you can use S and L type for any characters whatever you want.

 

But using L motion will make characters lager.

 

 

 
Known Issues
 
Momiji and Rachell will be placed in wrong spot.
I made additional Pole for Momiji, but I didn't for Rachel.
 
Light and DOF are not controllable.
 
Duration of movie is decided by length of it's original Paradise movie.
It's not controllable yet either.
 
 
Sometimes, the Hand and Pole doesn't match well.
It wasn't controllable. location has been edited based on Ayane.

Motion CSV Controller

I made a simple tool to control .csv file.
.csv file is a spread-sheet file converted from motion MPM files.
 
You can use DOAX3 motion .csv files directly to DOA5LR but there needed some adjustment.
And it's almost about moving center point or changing frame rate.
 
With this tool, you can simply move center point of BODY motion file or CAMERA motion file.
 
Once you opened a csv file, then you can check a center point x,y,z below.
If you enter those numbers ino another .csv file with this tool in 'Absolute' mode,
then you can move your motions close to that motion's location before.
 
 
Auto Cam
Auto Cam is an option included in Motion CSV controller.
It is annoying job to synchronize camera movement with the character's motion.
So after you load a BODY csv file with Auto Cam, simply clicking Create button will make a Camera following that BODY movement.

This is the manual. it may look complicated, but if you just focus on what you need to change, it's not that hard to control it.
Anyway, just click that Create button will create the camera even with the default settings or whatever.
 
 
 
The frame rate of DOA5 Paradise movie is 30fps. But some of DOAX3 movies are 60 fps.
So you need conversion and you can do it with this tool.
(Sometimes, only camera has only 60fps frame rate in a set.)
 
 
And there's crop frame option. With that, you can re-set movie length, or shift the movie frames.
But you cannot extend the movie length with that.

This is pretty cool.   I agree Mr. Doutoku TMC tool suite has been an indispensable resource for DOA modding.  If he were to charge for all this stuff I'd wager they could go for quite a high price basing on how much software engineers get paid these days :D

 

Regardless of how simple it may be to import the animation data, what you did with the camera and character placement, based on my preliminary testing/understanding, is still quite involved with thousands of frame data to update (unless there is an easy way that I am unaware of, lol).  It is far from a straight port so to speak.  

 

I was about to write something to automate that for me, haha.

 

edit: I forgot to mention the addition of the pole is pure awesomeness lol

But I found something not satisfy me...

I'm trying using Tina...

But Looks like the scene not ended completely... It's ended on 0:43 of your video, when she started bowing animation...

IDK what happen with her scene... as far as I know her scene on default paradise is pretty long enough for this Strips animation...

Are these animations from doax2? Back on old doax1\doax2 the movies were hardcoded to play once, but there was someone who figured out how to unlock the camera and make it loop. You wouldn't happen to know who did that though do you? This was from ninjahacker\darkmatter. Anyway this is great, costumes were a start, but custom animations are not something I expected.

The more I try not seem to make it work can not even open the bin file, do not let me know why, would someone kindly upload and modified to replace the DLC 358142 folder file, I would be very grateful, if only ayane with animation to see how it looks, this is an excellent mod, a greeting

But paradise movie duration is so short!

can we use these motion on win/lose movie too?

 

ps. somehow my windows defender detects virus in lnk_resuffle 5.3 is it just false positive and safe for use?

Amazing work, I'm really enjoying these!

 

Now I just need someone to mod in the stripper poles into the Island Water Play version of the Zack Island map that myself and others here use and we'll be set...

 

If anyone like me wants to quickly revert back to your old vanilla Paradise Movies without going through Archiver Tool I figured out that if you just swap the 3 files in \DEAD OR ALIVE 5. Last Round\DLC\358142\data\ with the following names you can just rotate them in and out with different movies, just back them up before you start modifying and make them into their own folders for easy rewrites:

mod_at.config

 

Any ideas for adding any other DOAX animations? The "relax" movies might be good (shower scene, playing/laying around the pool, etc).

Ahora sólo necesito a alguien para MOD en los postes de stripper en el agua Isla Juega versión del mapa Zack Island que yo y otros aquí utilizan y estaremos listos ...

 

Si alguien como yo quiere volver rápidamente de vuelta a sus viejas películas de vainilla Paradise sin pasar por la herramienta Archiver me di cuenta de que si sólo cambio los 3 archivos en \ DEAD OR ALIVE 5. Por último, Ronda \ DLC \ 358142 \ data \ con la siguiente nombres simplemente puede girar dentro y fuera con diferentes películas, simplemente copia de seguridad antes de empezar a modificar y hacer de ellos sus propias carpetas para facilitar vuelve a escribir:

mod_at.config

 

¿Alguna idea para añadir cualquier otro animaciones DOAX? Las películas de "relax" puede ser bueno (escena de la ducha, que juega / que pone alrededor de la piscina, etc).
