Favorite "pretty girl" mods?

Recommended Posts

I've seen plenty of mods pop up that modify the looks of vanilla game NPCs to make them more pretty/sexy.  Thinking of trying one but I'm not sure which.

Anyone here use any?  Which is your favorite?

Thanks for the recommendations so far.

I tried some of the Bijin ones.  Not bad.  But it's not working for some of the women.  Ysolda looks unchanged.  Aela has had her face tattoo removed but that's about it.  Any ideas how to fix this?

how dare no one mention SBF ?? LOL One of my absolute favorites!!

That mixed with bijin wives and bijin NPC's and replaced all textures of my own personal taste (Demoniac)

hmm doesn't seem to want to work for me.. when i dl the file it saved as "NPC_85.7z.005"

so i remove the ".005" and it still cant be accessed by 7zip.. :/ kinda want to try this..

You need to download NPC_85.7z.001, NPC_85.7z.002, NPC_85.7z.003, NPC_85.7z.004 as well, then with all 5 files in the same place, select the NPC_85.7z.001 then choose extract to, extract to the npc_85 directory, well if you are using 7zip anyway, that should unzip all the files into 1 directory then overwrite with the files extracted from the fix file, then re-zip the lot into 1 file, then add that file from you mod manager.

That should then get it working.

Do not re-name the files, they are correct to start with it is a multi-part zip.  When using 7zip, you should be able to right click on the 001 file and choose 7 zip, then choose the extract to option that should extract it, my mistake I tend to get left and right click mixed up unless I am doing it :-/ .

If  it does not work it may be worth checking which version of 7zip you have, failing that I have the download in my archives as 1 zip file for all 5 bits + fix added, I can pm you it.

I had something similar with Adrianne. Everyone else looked ok but only she kept her vanilla appearance. Drove me crazy. Turns out it was the Nicola Avenicci mod. So I moved that esp above Bijin NPCs and now all is well. Try moving Bijin Wives esp below any other mods that affect Whiterun and see if that helps.

Now, as far as favorite mods are concerned: I'm using Inhabitants of Skyrim which includes 243 female NPCs and (I think) all of the males. Under that I have The Ordinary Women for 75 female NPCs. All 3 Bijin replacers (45) and Avelyn or Elisif for Elisif. Today I installed Orc Race Enhancer and it looks really good so far.

Right now it's a mishmash of overwrites and esp editing but seems to be working out ok until I attempt to merge them together. Considering also Dames 1 and Dames 2. Both of them together account for 118 named female NPCs and look really nice. The author is currently working on Dames 3, looking forward to that.

I used to have The College of Winterhold - NPC Improvement but I want to see how the current crew at the college shape up before I put it back.

The only thing below the Bijin mods in my load order is Alternate Start - Live Another Life.  Aela still won't change.

I think the only mod that I have installed that may influence her is Amorous Adventures.  Could that somehow be interfering with this?  Or female werewolves since she is a werewolf?  Those are the only two that I think are connected to Aela directly in any way.

I'm using AA also and all the Bijin gals look ok, so I don't think it's that. FW seems more likely but it's hard to really know for sure.

I remembered I spoke to someone recently who had a similar problem.  A character's appearance wouldn't change on their current save but if they created a new save the mod would work.

With my current mod list I started a new save really quick.  Aela's appearance was altered.  I tried reverting back to my old save file.  Her appearance was unchanged from what it originally was.

Unless anyone knows a way to reset her appearance mid-playthrough I guess I'm stuck with Aela this way.  :(

Try doing an npc reset or reset inventory or AI, i forget the console cmds but they may possibly reset her appearance as well... i know if you specifically alter the height it fudges up the appearance but to use setscale everything works ok lol its weird how the system works but there is always a work-around ;)

Bijin includes troubleshooting on the warmaidens main page. If changing the load order doesn't work, he recommends reinstalling the mod and allow it to overwrite everything. Then there's console commands like setnpcweight xx and disable/enable.

If you have tes5edit, you can see what's conflicting with Aela. Let it load everything, r-click on the left pane and select Apply Filter. Give it a few minutes and then expand warmaidens Non-Player Character (Actor) and select Aela. Any conflicts will show up as orange or red. Not guaranteeing that'll help but it might be worth a look.

I usually switch back and forth from either Bijin stuff, NPC 85, or SOGS.

For Serana I'm just using Seranaholic. Works out pretty well. ClearanceClarance's bijin wives customizer is pretty nice as well (as are the rest of his customizers!)

For some races there just aren't many alternatives.

For elves it has to be Ethereal Elven Overhaul and its patches. Other people have altered elves but they're always mixed in with various other NPC changing mods and are rarely anywhere nears as all-encompassing as EEO.

For orcs ratrace's Orc Race Replacer is really the only option. Orcs get so little love. People just can't get over the underbite and tusks.

For vampires I just started using Hott Vampires 2 and I'm actually quite impressed by it. He does a really nice job on their faces and hairs and it's one of the very few vampire mods out there that I've yet to experience one brown face with. Keeping my fingers crossed but this looks like a winner.

For followers I always end up using Skyrim Beautiful Followers. I know they're much more in the jp style than most other lore-aware follower mods like the Bijin ones but they're just so damned beautiful I can't help myself. Just look at Jenassa...

For the majority of all other female NPCs I think I'm the only person in existence who uses Decent Women. I just use the Commoners and Enemies and Wanderers plugins but they are really nice. A little work had to be done to it in TESVEdit since it's an older mod and it conflicted with EEO, so I had to take out all the elves but I can't imagine playing without it. Even random bandits and city guards are so hot I feel kinda bad for killing them. Any mod that can make Delphine look this good has got to be well made.

I also made a custom hairstyle mod for most of the named female NPCs that uses Apachii hairs and SG 350, so NPCs in my game look pretty damned good.

Gave tes5edit a try.  If I'm reading this right, only 4 things influence Aela.  The vanilla game, the Unofficial Skyrim patch, Immersive Weapons and Bijin Warmaidens.  But nothing I see in red seems to apply to Bijin?  This thing is confusing.

I am by no means a tes5edit expert (nor an expert on anything really) and I get confused all the time  :P  but I'll try to do my best. If there are no mods listed to the right of warmaidens (right pane), then the warmaidens esp takes precedence. So far, so good. I don't use Immersive Weapons but I really can't see how it will affect Aela's face, not if warmaidens have overwritten the mesh and texture files and the esp is loaded after.

Are you using USKP or USLEEP? As far as I know, warmaidens is compatible with USKP. If you're using USLEEP, you need Bijin All In One as well as Bijin Wives and NPCs. To be honest, I have no idea how a conflict with either will manifest itself in game. So, there's that.

Any luck with the other fixes? How's everyone else doing? I noticed that Aela's textures were altered in the 3.1.1 version. Her face tattoo appears to be much fainter.

Modding for Skyrim is a game all on its own, isn't it? I mean, I must spend more time breaking things and fixing them than I do actually playing the game but it's worth it, I think. Yesterday, I started a new playthrough. Removed Inhabitants and added Foxxy Skyrim. Overwriting that with Ordinary Women, then Bijin AIO and Orc Race Enhancer. Conflicts galore. Everybody looks ok so far but I expect to find weirdness eventually.

About FS, it's another NPC replacer similar to Inhabitants and seems to cover just about everyone from prisoners to main characters. This is what I'm looking for to start off with. From there I want to merge that with Ordinary Women and then trim some characters out of that so it doesn't conflict with Bijin AIO or Orc Race Enhancer. Basically, the plan is to reduce 7 or so mods into 2 or 3 archives that don't conflict with each other. Famous last words.

I use USKP and not SLEEP.  I don't want to upgrade a big patch like that in the middle of a playthrough and I don't know what mods will be negatively influenced by it.

None of the other fixes seemed to work.  I may be doomed to be having an ugly Aela until I start another playthrough.  :(
