just a quick question...can this mod make sex scenes tailored for a certain race (for example falmer) be used to another humanoid race if set in one of its rules? for example I want rieklings to play the falmer 5p gangbang animation after I get defeated and there are 4 of them already...

thanks in advance...

Yes.

Of course, you need to have the animations that will support the races and number of participants.

Sorry CPU, I really can't provide logs.  I was using an older version of Luxury Suite (5.1) and when I saw you intended to test with the new version I upgraded.  Opps. Big mistake.  Trashed game. Deleted.  I'll get this going again when I have time and keep trying it.  I use MO so not a big deal.

I will say that I believe Pet1Pet is correct about the location rules.  I tried a few other places in Whiterun and Riverwood and could not get location rules going at all.  Again, my rules worked fine if I did not specify a location.

Thanks for testing luxury suite and all your hard work modding.

I might have a bug. I posted in the rule sharing form about not being able to get npc relationships to work. I've checked creation kit and the places I'm trying have characters with relationships but even with all relationships on I get the no sources error. Can anyone confirm if the relationships are working between npcs? I got it to work in 1.2 but unfortunately it made spouses have sex with anyone who had a spouse as opposed to just their own spouse.

I will give a look to this case.

My tests were only in Bannered Mare (where you have the relationship Boss/Employee between Hulda/Sadia and Hulda/Bard) and in a test cell I created for debugging.

I will do further tests, and if I find a bug I will fix it.

After posting, I too went to the bannered mare and the relationships were working. My problem might be contained to Riverwood. That's where I was testing this and no one there would work. It's strange, as again, in 1.2 it did work there.

Please post the rules you are trying and tell me the exact location and the expected actors.

I have the target as generic and the source as relationship previous - all relationships types. In Riverwood, the sleeping giant inn, and the trader's it does not work. I've even tried target as specific - Delphine, Alvor, Sigrid, Gerdur, Hod, Camilla, and Lucan Valerius. Even with relationship at just sister/brother in the traders (to make sure both actors are being picked up) I get no source.

But in Whiterun and the Bannered Mare it seems to work. I do have npcs I'ved edited in CK in Riverwood, but the relationships are listed in CK and I have edit npcs in Whiterun and they work fine.

Need some assistance please.  Just upgraded my computer and re-installed Skyrim from scratch. I use the STEP extended build with a few extra mods including sexlab & scent of sex.  The prior build on my old computer worked perfectly. With the new build your mod initializes however most of the sub menu items are empty and those that have items in them I can't select (I click the entry and nothing happens).  In addition, there are no animations listed even though FNIS tells me there are over 1400 and they work fine when i use the sexlab test spells.  My debug log is showing errors with ssxMCM.psc - array index out of range.  Any help would be appreciated.

edit:  Great mod by the way, it's a ton of fun to use and even work with building the rules.

The very first line of your log tells what the problem is.

[09/08/2016 - 08:55:08PM] Warning: Variable slaf on script ssxrunner has an invalid type slaFrameworkScr loaded from save. This variable will be skipped.

You had a previous version in your save game and you upgraded both SexLab and my mod at the same time.

Uninstall SSX, clean the save (in the first post and in the documentation you can download there is a guide about how to do it), then run the game, be sure SexLab is working, then save, exit, install SSX back.

Thank you, I'll do that and let you know what happens.   You are correct - I did upgrade both when I bumped up to 1.3c.

Please send me the papyrus log (and be sure to activate EVERYTHING) when this problem occurs again. Zip the file if it is too big.

Now i feel stupid, i was searching for a seperate log all the time. I have several problems (at least i think it's more than one), but since not a single rule works after one of them happened, and i couldn't find a way to fix it except a clean save and reinstall, i couldn't reproduce them right now.

My game is quite script heavy, it's totally possible that it's not SSX what breaks things. But what i'm desperatly missing is an error handling other than "uninstall SSX, clean save, reinstall".

The rule is "All creatures on player" and does pretty much what it's called. All Creatures on Player.json Other rules with creatures caused similiar problems, though.

What happened in this log: Papyrus.0.log First after instaling SSX, i found and clicked at the performance test guy, not sure if relevant. Then i started SSX and edited SSX a bit (might that be a thing? changing rules/settings without stopping?), and walked through skyrim. I've met a hunter on a horse, the horse started to fuck me (leaving the hunter behind, everything fine so far). I didn't see it this time because the "radar" is missing during sexlab scenes, but i've seen some creatures (rabbit, deer) became hostile when they are chosen as actors. Maybe because of the "aggressive-usually" setting? The hunter started to shoot at her horse with me under it, the horse wasn't hostile to me after that, but horse and hunter were fighting afterwards.

Not that bad so far, i don't care about hunter/horse, i wanted to mention it, though.

Now the worst part: after that, SSX doesn't even try to start any rule. I've set everything to N&T, highlight good actors green and bad actors red. Every creature i met was green and my toon too, but i never got any notifs about a rule firing, or even to work. I've spent a minute blocking two wolves and timer is set to 35 seconds min/max (scan 15 seconds), so i should have seen something at least once.

I've used the "space" key to hurry the animation when the hunter started shooting, maybe that's a reason why SSX goes weird.

Other problems not in this log: PC stays considered "occupied" after sex, and again the only thing that helps is a clean save/reload before installing. The description for "Force actor clearing" says only something about NPCs, is the PC considered to be reset? If not, a change here would hopefully fix my problems, if yes, it doesn't work for me. Although some "self fixing" would be great, an option to "reset everything" would already be a big help.

One more thing in case it matters: I'm using the sexlab 1.61 with patch to 1.62, don't know if the full version would be better. But this time i started a new game without SSX and installed it after everything was installed and set and i did some playing.

In 1.2 there was an option to determine the actors for a rule based on an Item or piece of clothing. Has that been removed ?

Still here. Just moved to a different location. (and improved.)

Just wanted to say I used Version 1.2 for some time before starting a new game when 1.3 came out, and the increase in speed when pulling up the MCM is amazing.  I'm also impressed by the thoroughness of the manual.  It's rare to see a mod which comes so well documented and I think it's commendable.  That's all, not here to complain.

If I only could find it then...  been staring myself blind on the screen for a while now so I Think you need to Point me in the right direction  :)

CPU,  I did as you suggested and it corrected the menu issue, but I still have no animations registered in your mod.  When I go to the animations tab in MCM is shows no anims in the area where the list should be. Could you look and see what else I am doing wrong?

Thinking maybe something was wrong with my save -- maybe it got corrupted, etc.. I started a new game and it gave me the same issue.  No anims.

Just to make sure that I installed everything correct, etc.  I removed sexlab, ssx and SOS.   Reinstalled SOS - checked to make sure it was working - saved and then installed sexlab - checked to make sure it was working - saved then installed ssx.  Menu items are working fine, but still "no anims" are showing.   I updated FNIS again, loaded the game, re-set sexlab with it's debug menu items - still no go.  Loaded up again and still no go.

Thanks for the help.

Keep in mind that you see only the animations that are selected by the rules.

If you have no rules then you will see no animations.

And be sure SexLab is installed (from its MCM.)

P.S. you should install also the patches. You have the version 1.3 base, no patches installed.

Thanks - I left the patches out just to make sure it was working. I guess you changed it from the version I had before (it was an old version from late last year).  I remember it showing XXX animations even w/o a rule.   Added in a rule and they appeared just as you said.   Patching now that everything is good - hopefully I don't screw something up.  Thanks so much for the assistance to this nontechnical fan  :)

Do alternate start mods interfere with the delay check for SSX to wait for Sexlab? I make my character, quickly open the menu and start sexlab, and before it finishes activating SSX reports that Sexlab isn't installed.

I'm using the 1.3c patch.

No.

But SexLab should fully complete its installation before you can activate SSX.

This is probably gonna sound like a noob question - but I don't care; I can't figure the answer to this on my own.

When I go into the MCM for SSX, i don't get an option to import a rule. I don't know where to look for it, and the guide is not specific on its whereabouts (or if it is, it's not something I recognize, which is not a stretch).

PLEASE -- someone tell me what I am doing wrong. All the options are blank when I try to create a new rule, and I just want to play...

That's what I'm saying - it's not waiting long enough before trying to activate itself. I thought that's what you patched.

I just removed Random Alternate Start and tried again. SSX tries to activate itself before the intro lets you open the menu, so there's no chance for Sexlab to completely install. Is there a good reason for SSX to be activating itself?

You just have to be patient...after it says "Scent of Sex initialized" just play a few minutes and occasionally check the mcm...it will be available after some time (the mod needs massive time to load).

ugh. I tried once more with NOTHING but scent of sex and requirements installed. No extra animations, no SAR, no bug fixes, not a goddamned thing. Once again, SSX pops up before I can even open the menu. I activate sexlab and it is done before the end of the cart ride. I get through the intro as far as reaching Helgen Keep and STILL nothing happens when I click the "install" button for SSX.
