As someone who never got much in the speech tree (even with SkyRe), finding it rather meh as a skill (especially early) I definitely like the idea you have so far.

I can't personally help you, but I wish you luck in either learning yourself or finding someone to help, and that my small comment can provide some motivation :D

I have that same problem with most of the trees, it's part of my motivation for this. Most trees were never relevant to my characters because of play style, and by themselves they're just not entertaining enough for me to want to invest in them without any practical reasons.

My hope is that certain perks will become interesting not just because of their effect, but because they fit in thematically with the character you're role-playing or because they're your fetish.

I like some of those ideas, cant new perk tree's be made?

plus I liked the idea that showing your breasts to someone has an effect, like better bartering? people like you more for a time etc.

As far as I've been able to track down, no one knows how one could potentially make new trees I'm afraid.

I'm a bit torn at the moment about what nudity aspects to incorporate into the Temptress tree and what to add into the Exhibitionist tree.

Almost certainly, the reason you can't compile SL scripts is that you don't have installed the SkyUI, SKSE, and Sexlab source files.

I'm aware of those requirements, I've looked around for solutions and seen that one.

Here's a screenshot showing the stuff I have installed.

As far as I'm aware, I have all the requirements. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I do hope the problem is that simple.

From my understanding, it is impossible to create new trees.

However, it is possible to "merge" trees, as in move one tree's perks to the other and use the "empty" tree left. I know Skyrim Redone merges Lockpicking and Pickpocket, and then "adds" a Wayfarer tree.

Can't tell from here whether you have the SKSE scripts.

If you post a pic of your compile errors someone can help fix it.

Please, please do not use NMM. Use Mod Organizer instead. The author of Sky Casino, a very good and much anticipated mod, lost all of his progress and quit developing because of an error which could not have happened if they used Mod Organizer.

I believe Racemenu doesn't by default contain/install the source files, and I couldn't figure out how to extract them effectively from the esp.

The "Modders Package 3-1-0" in my installation is what I thought contained those. Evidently it isn't. Would you mind pointing me to the correct file to download? Looking at Racemenu's nexus page, I can't decipher if any of the alt files is the one I'm looking for, and I don't dare download the wrong one in case it mucks things up.

This seems interesting, but it'd be nice to see more things other than persuasion buffs.

I'm trying not to go crazy with the planning until I can determine what I can manage, but many other effects than persuasion buffs are very much intended to be implemented.

I just followed your file. I think you may be sitting on a perk mod that might deepen immersion for some players; at least in respect to this single perk tree. The scope of your mod is rather large if it includes all perk trees, but it's very interesting how this one perk tree could apply sex and sexuality to the overall in-game experience and player choice. I can't help with scripting advice and I don't usually make posts like this, but your mod caused me to brainstorm and I do have some ideas that might benefit the development:

1. You could make a fade-to-black* version like what FoxFingers did with "Amorous Adventures". This would allow you to put the mod on Nexus and avoid being labeled as just another Sexlab porn mod. Not to stifle your experiments in Sexlabs, but this would allow you to develop the mod's scope and how the perks apply to in-game interactions with NPCs and the play through experience. It would also function more as a placeholder for the Sexlabs, give more opportunity for player-tester feedback (bug reports) and give you time to test your work tuning Sexlab scripts.

2. You could rename your mod to "Immersive"-something-or-other** for a potential Nexus release. "FUPerks" is a good name if you were only going for a 'naughty' change of perk descriptions, but you want to "replace the vanilla perks with more sexually themed ones" and that would change the aspect of how a perk is used in-game and that's where some great potential rests.

3. You could also overhaul the descriptions of the new tree with lore friendly language. Instead of the Temptress tree description reading "Never underestimate what having breasts and a nice ass can make other people do for you", it could be "Never underestimate the dexterity your charms and endowments can achieve within others."; this sort of description could fit in with vanilla-type vernacular and literary language without it being too explicit, this would give the descriptions some immersion and stay neutral to PC gender (like anyone plays as a male).

4. Of course, you'll have plenty of time to beautify the descriptions and names later, but limiting your work to the one tree would give you needed mod creation experience and proof of concept; it might be the only one you need to work with, because the Speech tree is the only one that deals with player to NPC interactions.

*Fallout3/NV uses fade-to-black with their vanilla prostitutes and the mod "Prostitutes of Skyrim" uses it as well.

**I know we already have a lot of mods that have "immersive" in the title, but they do draw in a lot of views because of it and that leads to more testers. Maybe a name like "Artful Fornication" (cue bad 70s porn music)??

PS: I had caffeine while typing and I hope my ramblings haven't offended you in any way, but I think you have a good idea that I would like to see taken to fruition. So, don't give up and best of luck to you.

Holy fuck this concept is amazing. I wish I could offer some kind of service to help you make this, but my talents generally lay elsewhere, I would even be a bad beta tester as my free time is hell. This has my follow and I will do my best to check in on this as I can. Keep doing gods work man.

I given a little look, so here some random thoughts:

Good concept by itself, tecnically (so far) is a Whore mod, but with a specific connection to the game system and in fact an adaptation of the current perk tree to sex lab.

Simple and neat, good.

Anyway you could have some problem of compatibility, managing the skill tree, with the various other mods that do the same, so, in my opinion, probably is better for you to avoid the Speech tree and create a "fake" perk tree specific for your mod that could be connected to the real one (also because if your goal is the whole perk system your work is a bit large, and difficult if you want to keep variety, etc.)

In case that you have question about scripting let me know, I'm not an expert, but I know few tricks that could be useful.

Bye,

P.S.: The worse part is to get a good name for the mod, honestly I think that sooner or later you'll need to get a better one ;P

P.P.S.: I know the previous statement sound strange by one that named his mod like mine, but a suggestion is a suggestion! :P

I like this idea very much!

Thanks! ^^

Totally forgot this existed, thanks for the reminder!

This looks pretty interesting. I might try it eventually.

Question: Do you think you could integrate this with SkyRe? I play almost exclusively SkyRe and i think this would pretty much break it.

I'll consider making compatibility options, but I've never used SkyRe myself so I'd have to look into that first. It'd probably have to wait until I have more of a mod finished.

1. There's merit in widening the audience with a less sexual version on the Nexus, but I don't intend to share this on the Nexus even if it was allowed. I simply don't support some of their behavior. The only reason I go to the Nexus at all is because they've unfortunately managed to basically get a monopoly on the modding scene regardless of their asshole moderators and ridiculous policies. Since there thus isn't a point in making a less sexual version, I think making a fade-to-black effect would be ultimately pointless.

2. Kinda same as the first. No need to rename for the Nexus since I don't want to give them traffic by hosting a mod there. ^^

Although I do consider suggestions for name changes to the mod. It's called FUPerks because it's simple, contains "perks" and is somewhat evocative of a sexual meaning. If someone comes up with a better name than I'll probably agree to rename it. ^^

3. I don't feel like the blunt writing clashes all that much with the rest of the game, but that could just be bias. I enjoy the explicity.

It would however be nice if the writing could find some kind of middle ground though. Depending on further feedback, I'll consider changes. The writing is pretty much always open to changes.

And on the topic of gender neutrality, my intention is actually to make an alternate version for male players that can be chosen through a fomod menu upon installing. It's supposed to be the exact same mod, only with the flavor texts and names changed to be more suited to a male character.

The reason for this is that it gives the writing more freedom to get specific rather than be so vague that it could apply to roughly anything.

4. I'm currently only working on the speech tree actually, I've already limited the work to not include any other trees until/unless I feel I can handle it. ^^

I enjoyed your ramblings, gave me things to think about. ^^

Feel free to toss out more thoughts if you have them.

For incompatibilities, once there's more than one tree in the mod I was going to have a fomod installer where you can choose which trees from my mod that you want installed, so if you want the tree from another mod you just choose not to install that particular tree from mine.

Alternatively, you could install my mod first and let other mods overwrite mine wherever they overlap. (Though this is a more fallible method.)

If it turns out a lot of people want both my tree and the overlapping tree from another mod... well, I'd have to look into that when/if the specific occasion arises.

Thanks for the feedback! ^^

And I might send some questions your way some time then. :P

That's the point:

If you change the Standard/modded perk tree all the systems/mods that rely on that could start to work badly or get broken.

Also a note on the "single perk trees" thing: this way you'll do one esp for every tree... that is a mod space killer :P

Those are some of the reasons why I suggested to think about a 'fake tree' system, so you'll have an infrastructure in an all-in-one system that could be enabled/disabled in game (even in specific parts).

I can assure you that there's a little bit to learn first, but you'll be saving some times later, anyway, just my opinion.

Feel free to do your questions, but consider that I might take some times to answer (I'm pretty messed up out there)  :)

The mod Campfire adds 2 new trees to the game. Of course they are not accessible in the normal way, but it might help you.

Edit: the mod author also made a tutorial how to create a new tree by using his Campfire Dev Kit, which can be found here:

http://skyrimsurvival.com/home/campfire/mod-developers/creating-campfire-mods/tutorial-5-basketweaving-new-skill-tree/

Don't know much about it, but might help you.

i made the speech tree for tdf prostitution long ago. tdf made a patch with a slider how many clients are necessary for a perk point. i also changed the illusion tree for learning different sex techniques, even become shemale and succubus.

i never used them on a full game because the sex had no direct influence on increasing the skills, it must be done maually.   also the tree would have to enable / disable sexlab categories and animations, ii am no programer.

However, it is an interesting and game specific way to develop sex in skyrim. but honestly i doubt it will work and cover all posibilities.
