Shameless plug for Reginald's PreFab ShackFest!

I've been working on a new mod that adds prefab buildings you can place in your settlement. I've made 18 Prefabs so far, all fully navmeshed and immediately usable by settlers. The idea is to make a script free alternative to sim settlements, featuring 10 wooden shacks, 10 metal shacks, 10 concrete shacks, and all 7 vendor shacks, craftable from the workbench.

 

No DLC required, no script extender required, works on all vanilla versions and works together with all known existing mods.

 

You can add your own doors (they snap correctly) and furnish them as you want. All shacks have their own foundation that you can push fully into the ground, or move up from the ground at will, so you can place shacks directly on the ground, or in water, or higher up as you see fit. They also work really well on sloped areas, which is ideal for Fallout 4, because so many settlements contain sloped areas.

 

Because the shacks are fully navmeshed, settlers will be able to get around and live in them without any issues other than existing bugs in the game itself. :P

The shacks are all made to be lore friendly and consist for 75% out of regular workbench objects.

Just finished up the Metal prefab set, finishing both the wood and the metal sets of prefabs.

I realized that the concrete stuff needs DLC, so I can't incorporate that into the mod as I don't want any dependencies.

Likely I'll make an extra set of 'uniques' (small shacks like these made from other vanilla assets) instead to fill up that gap. :)

I have done countless playthroughs. I have had very many different characters with a wide variety of looks and numerous playstyles. I've used various aesthetic archetypes over and over and now I've become bored with it all.
