Z0mBieP00Nani Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 So the story is, I got bored with Fallout 4 and decided to give the monotonous game a rest for a while, and in the time I have been absent from playing it I noticed a new update has come out. Naturally I installed the update, and now it seems that none of my mods work, they are still in the load order but it's like the game can't detect them. What did Beth mess with this time that I have to change so I can get my mods working again?
Versh Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 It's a Beta update about the creation kit that also install an in-game Mod downloader and a load order menu... Should be fixed out of the beta, for now I think you should re-enable all the mods from the load order menu every time... or simply Disable the Beta partecipation.
prinyo Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/61156-psa-about-the-new-fo4-update/?p=1539992 Solution depending of what you use - NMM, MO or no mod manager at all.
Ernest Lemmingway Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Use a third party mod manager (MO, or NMM until MO is capable of running more programs through itself for FO4). Don't trust Bethesda's own mod management.

Yeah, this seems to have fixed my problem. Thank you. I had to add an * next to everything in my load order.
