why at the start of the game (Oblivion.exe) the computer wants to get a connection to this host? how to block it?

 

Simple turn off you internet connection. And it should never connect to this server.

 

as I wrote , I had changed hosts-file, and it helped.

 

 

127.0.0.1 games.metaservices.microsoft.com

127.0.0.1 music.metadata.windowsmedia.com.akadns.net

127.0.0.1 info.music.metaservices.microsoft.com
