Monsto Brukes Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 a question and a request about the spoiler tag 1) i haven't seen so, but is there a ui button for the spoiler tag? I'm a member of the Instant Total Gratification club and it takes so much effort an energy to type it, I was curious if there was a button to save me some steps. 2) as a member in good standing of IGT, my request was if you could move the "show content" button over to the left. When i click it on the right, oversized screenshots make it fly way off the screen to the right. after i sob a little for all the work that i'll have to do, i have to go ahead and scroll and laboriously then click the button to hide the content again. seriously, tho... is there a spoiler ui button? If not, could you add one? and the request is if the "show content" button could be pulled left so that it doesn't meander across the page.
Ashal Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 A simple enough and good suggestion. Done and Done. Spoiler button is the bubble with exclmation mark on the edititor next to color selection. Example Spoiler, yo!
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Oh also, Ive noticed that SOMETIMES when previewing a post, if you click the spoiler tag in the preview odd things happen (like the post posting automatically). Not always however.
Poontank Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 This usually tends to happen in PMs. After sending a few 'prematurely', I had started to place only the opening tag, preview the message, and if pictures show up correctly, only then I finalize the spoiler with the closing tag (forcing myself never to open the spoiler again in that PM). It's strange, at the moment I can't find a bubble-shaped spoiler button in the editor. Is this a problem on my part or is not implemented yet?

This image shows where it is, it kind of blends into it a little so it can be hard to see if you have a poorly calibrated monitor. I could probably find a better icon if need be.

Poontank Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Awesome, now it's there! Thanks for this immensely helpful (and probably long overdue) new function! Didn't know that shortcut before BTW.
thesapien Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 No seriously' date=' thanks. I will hold my head high at the next ITG Club meeting. If i go. Nobody goes to those meetings anymore... too crowded. [/quote'] What exactly do you do at those ITG Club meetings? I'll bet they are short but sweet, depending on the members. Spoiler button to the left... who ever would had thunk it could make browsing so much easier! Any ideas for mowing my lawn, today? Electric mower cord is always getting in the way. Maybe always turn left?
Monsto Brukes Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 dunno if it was cache or what, but it's there today. gj and thanks!
Jerbsinator Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Thank you for putting the spoiler button on the left, much MUCH better.
Flashtime Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Hey, I have a problem with my spoiler too and ctrl+f5 doesn't help me ..: ( [sorry for my bad English ]
gregathit Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Hey' date=' I have a problem with my spoiler too and ctrl+f5 doesn't help me ..: ( [sorry for my bad English ] I personally have never seen the spoiler short cut. You will just have to use the bb code.
gregathit Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 There's still a typo on the spoiler button! LOL!! What is amusing is that if you click on "show conent" you get "hide content"........ It is just this sites "arrow to the knee".....

It is just this sites "arrow to the knee"..... So if it gets fixed then we can go adventuring agains! That's exciting' date=' tho I'm just happy in knowing it wasn't just me. It never is. There is no me. The Meaning of Conent: http://www.webanswers.com/education/what-does-provide-a-conent-of-the-professioinal-develpment-mean-to-you-2fdc6f But, Master, I go to the site seeking an answer only to find a question, and the question's answer is the question; it's a question with more than one misspelling, so is that my answer, that the true meaning is a typo?
thesapien Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 That can't be right. You're agreeing all too easily. This can mean only one thing. I must be onto something big and you're trying to get me to give up before beginning by making me think I've already succeeded when really I was just about to the crack wide open this thing about how you and Greg control my mind.

Now, now.....empty your mind of those thoughts my young padawan, think only on happy thoughts.......forget about mind control....forget.....
