So anything new on the prospect of sexout J.T?

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I've been trying to edit this mod to get it to work with J.T. as well. Why is it not as simple as copying the dialogue topics over to J.T. and changing all the REFs in the conditions and scripts where appropriate, and jumping through all the .esp/.esm Wrye Flash hoops to keep the custom mod actor REFs alive?

 

J.T. gets the dialogue lines, but when I choose a target, nothing happens after dialogue closes. I also tried updating the scripts to the calls mentioned on page 2 of this thread. Made no difference.

 

Is there something that's preventing J.T. from being considered a valid Sexout actor? Maybe something to do with the snippet of code Halstrom posted from the SCR?

 

Any advice is appreciated.

Alright, a little looking into the SCR and it's pretty clear that J.T. would need to have his own entries added into there for this to work, sooo... never mind.

Well as I'm pulling Willows REF into SCR, I'll look at pulling JT in as well for future stuff and adding him to the dog lists in the next beta release, but then someone will have to do some updating of this to suit. I've also been looking into adding some of the other popular companions.

While I was poking around I found some major issues in SexoutRexWillow and I think I fixed them in FNVEdit, no idea if it works, but got to be an improvement, give it a go.

  • You can now fuck the dogs yourself (Rex in normal versions, Dogmeat in TTW versions, J.T. in Willow versions). For those of you who used my "Sexout Certified" mod the same exact options are available as with the cyberdogs: Doggie Style, Missionary, Cunnlings(Females only), Squating anal. 
• Willow Versions: You can now have J.T. fuck girls too. Including Willow (Obviously). A little note though: J.T. Will NOT like it if you try to order rex or dogmeat to fuck his alpha bitch (willow) while he's around and hired. If you want her to get it on with rex or dogmeat either have him wait outside in a different cell or don't hire him. Doesn't apply to any other girls though. Also doesn't apply to you... he'll (Begrudgingly) let you have your way with her too... if you have the appropriate mods. 
   
• Tale of Two Wastelands versions: Dogmeat can fuck girls too, just like rex can. (Willow included in the TTW Willow version.... Provided JT isn't around to stop him from doing so.) Dogmeat, Rex, (and J.T. in the ttw+willow version) can also fuck FO3 companions, including a few vanilla mod added ones. Includes Cross, Clover, Sydney, Lucy west, Bittercup, and Brianna (might include cherry too if there's any demand for it.) DIdn't include amata cause there's like 4 different versions of amata and I'm not sure which one the amata companion mod uses if any of them.

Umm there's another completely different mod on here called SexoutWillow, so you might want to change that esp name back to SexoutRexWillow.esp as it will screw up anyone using "IsModLoaded" looking for the old version adding Rex to companion lists

I'm also assuming you used whatever fixes I did in the modified version above, can't remember exactly what they were, think it was to do with the correct ref used in dialogue.

Yeah I just realized I uploaded the one you're reffering to by mistake instead of the actual sexoutrexwillow. Fixed now.

I have a problem with the latest Sexout Rex mod, I'm using the base version provided by rylasasin in post #58. Im using New Vegas without willow, hence the SexoutRex.esp. All the other base sexout stuff is recent, the base packages, SCR and everything. So far everything works as well. I also have the companion base, robco certified and sexout certified.

 

But Rex is kind of odd. I have two options to have fun with him in the dialogue, one states "So... you want to have fun?" and one says "Hey Rex, you want to have fun?". the former one will work, although I cannot choose how we have fun as opposed to what's been stated. It just gives me the "get on all fours" option, once per 24 hours.

 

The latter fun option does nothing, though. The dialogue will end ("have some fun?" - "Aroo?" - "Good, so do I." - "Happy Bark") and then nothing happens.Any

 

 idea what's wrong?

This mod is in the forum. It is old and might not be properly updated anymore. Things have changed with Sexout. The mods in the Downloads section should work reliably. These in the fourm not so much. Many have been around for years untouched ( un modified).

Anyway, regarding your question. I think that the once per 24 hours option comes from Sexout Companion Sex. The other would be likely to come from Sexout Rex. If that's not working maybe rylasasin missed something.

A load order would be useful, ofc

I'm running a similar setup to Derder, and also getting the dialogue-but-no-action bug. If I had to guess, it sounds like a load order issue. I'll keep messing around, but so far no success. I'm using the TTW + Willow version.

I'm using your SexoutRexWillow.esp. I have both WIllow and J.T hired, however there isn't any sex dialogue option for either of them. Am I missing something?

 

I'm attaching my mod list. I'm not sure where to find the load order, but I ran it through LOOT.

 

EDIT: I'm using the newest Willow version (1.04). Perhaps your mod doesn't support it yet?

JT's REF has changed in the latest version of willow, you might want to check that.

They seem to be the same in #58's SexoutRexWillow.esp and NVWillow.esp (v1.05).

I don't have any J.T. options, too with SexoutRexWillow.esp as the last loaded file (well, before the batch patch).

If you look carefully you will find that that is the base ref for JT, not the inworld rendered REF which had defiantly changed, a new one is generated when they are added to a cell, so maybe JT was moved to a different cell or something.

Try sexout sex. Does it work with a normal NPC like Sunny? If not you have installed Sexout wrong. Refer to BruceWaynes tutorial in my sig. Make sure you did all the steps.

yes i have sexout sex and the sex options are fine normally, just rex refuses to do anything
