I'm back guys, sorry for the wait. I've Been very busy but I've been removing the clothing cc. The sims will only have custom makeup, hair, and accessories now. You can add your own clothing.

Uhm, clothing, where would one find a certain top, that came with Savannah Stevenson (not sure if her or Juliana Cruz), short, black, long sleeved and Yeezuz or something similar on the front side?

No more gaps and broken cc. It's the effect of saving savedsims with the cc, the way I like to do it. There are ways around it but I don't like having packaged cc

I have installed some of your sims since before you updated them (they look very nice btw), and now I'm stuck with all my sims having the waist gap (males too). How can I fix it?

The waist gaps are because I saved the sims with the CC and when you do it like that it's like the CC is apart of the sims so you aren't suppose to change the outfits. You have to have both CC top and bottom clothing that came with the sims. If you use EA clothing with the CC that came with the sims then you're going to see gaps. It's the effects of saving sims with CC in savedsim format. There are two way around it. One, is that you have to have all the CC in your packages folder..but I don't like doing it like that because it lags the game or Two, delete the CC so that's what i'm currently doing. Delete the sims and get the newer ones. I will upload my mods clothing folder after all the sims are up.

If you were industrious, you have a couple of options: 1st let me thank you for posting which brought this download to my attention. I generally don't download other's Sims as they usually don't look anything like the picture in my experience, but these look fine.

Now for your question - you COULD send a PM to the OP, and if they are still active, they may be able to replace the pictures you want. OR - like me you could just download the file with ALL of them. It would be easy enough to just delete any from the CAS premade bin where they are stored. I was pleased to find I now have some new skins, hairstyles, etc.

OR - you could wait till the cows come home. So many options, so little time......

download everything, watch every .sim file in s3pe, and the SNAP tag has an image.

Love love love love your dark haired Simette Juliana. Where'd you get the tongue ring, if you don't mind me asking? Also--are their clothes packaged with them?

Sorry to be asking, but where is this Juliana?  I'm not seeing her in the list above.

Anyways, you say to save these sims to the save sims folder..except I don't see a folder named save sims..Am I suppose to make another folder?

I know that you've likely figured it out by now, but that is what I would do...  in your Sims 3 folder where all of your related folders are, if you don't have a folder labeled "Saved Sims", then you should make one

The Sims 3 basic game has the CAS Sim Bin - This is where saved Sims are kept which is different from the Library Bin for families ready to place on a lot and become Inactive Sims unless the player chooses that lot. The base game also has a functioning library bin with several families there as well. My point: Both folders for both types of Sims already exist.

Some of the directories in the "Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 3" folder are not created by the game automatically, but are only created the first time they are needed. The SavedSims directory only gets created when you save a sim. It does not hurt anything for you to create them on your own if they do not exist.

But, for anyone referring to this topic, the correct name is 'SavedSims', with no spaces in the name.

Where does the game store all the Sims in the CAS Library then? These are the default EA dev made Sims in the Bin I speak of. We don't make them and those we make end up WITH them.   :D

To clarify - I am speaking of opening Create a Sim and to the left is the location for the saved sims bin and the only place it can be accessed to utilize while the folder would allow basic file operations.

Fairly sure they are somewhere in GameData/Shared/Packages wherever the game is installed. The ones we make ourselves end up in the SavedSims folder of Documents.

Edit: I got curious and had a look through S3PE, it's the FullBuild0.package file.

I'll ask again. When I open the CAS and choose a premade Sim - where is that information kept since that is the SAME place our custom sims are stored?

If we are talking about the time between installation and the first opening of CAS - I give up. We are now worried about a very small point of gameplay that never exists again.

BTW: The Game NEVER 'stores' anything in the base reference files that is created by the player IN GAME. We can change those files as a computer user, but those files are read only for a reason.

Perhaps I've misunderstood. We are talking the Sims that appear in this menu, yes? The one on the far right is the same as my previous screenshot. If so, I've already answered that; FullBuild0.package, not in the SavedSims folder.

As to how or why that is the case, that's a great question I have no answer to.

That is a good question. I just know that I have a newly created The Sims 3 folder, and have launched the game and run some tests in Adventureland, and the SavedSims folder does not exist there.

My guess is that the default sims are in the resources installed somewhere close to the binaries.

Edit: I should read the full thread before responding 😄
