Matz Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Hi everybody, I use K-ENB with performance version for the moment, I like it so much but... The depth of field isn't enough strong for me, Do you know I can add more blur at 15-20 meter from my character because for the moment I can see the details on distance and they aren't very beautiful... Thank's.
Veladarius Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 This is an EnbEffectPrepass file I picked up from the ENB forums on Boris's site. The effect is adjustable and has several variables to allow you to customize it. The settings I have for it are very mild, just the far distance is blurred though at times the foreground is as well (slightly). Just replace the existing file in the Skyrim base folder with the one in the zip but back up the original just in case. enbeffectprepass.zip
fgambler Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I always found K ENB's DOF pretty nice, I'm often using Kinematic Southern Light Extreme for character screenshots. Maybe that's your issue since you're using a performance version. It has a weaker depth of field setting. A strong dynamic DOF can eat a lot of fps, and static DOFs are just awful for gameplay.
spoonsinger Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Just passing, but why not use the static DOF functionality of Dynavision over the top of whatever ENB you are using? It can be tweaked in game quite easily for a light DOF, (i.e. far off), or much stronger for a closer DOF. (However It's dynamic DOF doesn't seem to work with ENB with out disabling stuff you want from the ENB, so don't use that)

(That's to say I've used it with Vividian & RealVision in the past to smudge distance and it worked fine, and from reading this seems to be the case for other presets). The problem with the dynamic option is you have to turn the 'post processing on' in the enb, which basically overwrites some of the things the ENB is trying to achieve. Best bet is just to load Dynavision up into your game, wait for the MCM to register, and then have a play with the options out on the open plains - looking at mountains and trees and that killer assassin who will turn up while you are always testing stuff out. If you don't like the effect, (or it's doing something weird), just uninstall it.

Thank's. You're obviously NOT using K enb because if you were everything not in 10 feet from you would be blurred from hell to breakfast. Not even SnapDragon has stronger blur than K, there is literally only one ENB setting that has harder blur than K.
