Bodyslide not in game?

it's not reading from the actual game folder, that's your problem

Uninstall bodyslide. Close NMM. Close Steam. Re-open Steam. Run the Fallout 4 launcher. Open NMM. Reinstall Bodyslide.

This SHOULD fix your problem.
For some reason, Bodyslide isn't reading your data folder. This is likely because it doesn't know where to look. Running the launcher before installing Bodyslide has historically fixed this problem.

I tried that and the problem persists

If you open the settings in BodySlide does it in fact point to the proper Fallout 4 folder?

Just some side notes - you can uncheck all archives in the settings except for the "Textures" ones (9 of the vanilla game and 1 of the DLC).

That way the first time you load a mesh, it goes way faster since it has to scan fewer archives.

There's also no need to select the skeleton.nif of your game folder as a reference skeleton.

The one BodySlide comes with (res\skeleton_fo4.nif) is fully sufficient (it's the same one actually).

the Skeleton it's pointing to is the res folder. the path is just really long so it doesn't show it all.

I noticed the archives when I screenshot this and already changed for myself, thanks for the heads up though. not sure why they were all checked in the first place.

Ah yes, the Steam path was confusing me at first.

Actually, I forgot to say that you should probably keep the Materials.ba2 and Main.ba2 of the DLC checked. You will need the materials to get the proper textures paths loaded.
