DaXmAn Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I'm wondering if there is any crown mod for Skyrim, I tried to google, but without interesting results
myuhinny Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 There is a 3d model of one on turbosquid that is a free model. You could use that and make one if it's in OBJ format you can load it into outfit studio and adjust it and scale it in that.
kassiekagain Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 There is also the Snow White Crown. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37710/?

Thx for the hint, I tried that, but I get error in bodyslide "At least one vertex does not have any weighting assigned to it.", What I did, I imported existing nif, of bandit cap, then I imported crown obj. I tried to paint weights, when I save project, bodyslide crashes... I don't have patience to this... :/ I was trying to find some more info here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25180-unofficial-bodyslide-2outfit-studio-tutorials/ but there is no info on how to paint newly improted obj There is also the Snow White Crown. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37710/? Thanks! I was looking for "crown" on nexus, but this damn search mechanism is silly...
myuhinny Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 @DaXmAn That is because you have no bone nodes or weight painting on it. You have to add the head bone node and weight paint it or place a body with the crown and run it through mesh rigger found in the modders resource section on LL and use a head nif as your template to add the head bone node to it after conversion delete load up the nif into nifskope and right click the body and go to block - remove branch then save as to overwrite the nif.
DaXmAn Posted March 12, 2016 Author Posted March 12, 2016 I'm sorry, this is Chinese for me... I was never working with bodyslide. Only step by step instrucion would aid me... So far I made this: imported femalehead.nif imported crown from obj scaled and positioned crown using Having crown selected I tried to paint it, but when I switch bone, paint is gone... Do I have to "save" paint or something? Update: Ok, I changed brush strength and I was able to paint the crown having NPC Head bone selected (I think first I also copied bone weight or something)... I wanted to save the project (there was no warning "At least one vertex does not have any weighting assigned to it." anymore) but... What I'm doing wrong?
myuhinny Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Does it save without you doing anything? Load everything into outfit studio click export - export with reference. This will save everything that is in the nif. If it crashes just saving it could be a mesh problem with the crown. If it does save what does it look like inside the nif? If outfit studio is having a problem with the mesh you could try mesh rigger instead. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta89f-10-26-2014/?do=findComment&comment=623250
DaXmAn Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 If I load head and crown obj, and when I try to export with reference without doing anything I get "At least one vertex..." info and then "Fatal exception" Maybe I could import this obj into blender and export it again?

morgananinuala Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Hey, neat! I like it! Can't wait to see the release. Is that the final texture, or will there be a few variations?
romualda5 Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Look good, and where did you have this dress texture ? All look fantastic.
