Darkening Demise Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Spotted this on the achievement site for Xbox users. I wasn't surprised by the cancellation of Fable Legends, it was doomed since the start. Especially with Lionhead proclaiming they will support and develop for it for 10 years...... http://www.xboxachievements.com/news/news-23413-Fable-Legends-Shuts-Down-on-April-13th--Gold-Refunds-Coming.html Basically Fable is dead, and Lionhead will be shut down. Along with two other development studios my M$. This hurts me since I am a fan of Fable (1,2,3). But of course there are those who are Black & White fans too. I fear these IPs' future upon being placed in unknown developers' hands. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=lionhead+studios+closing
Guest MonsterFish Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Can't wait for EA to get hold of the Black & White Franchise, that way I'll have to pay £40 for the 'Tiger DLC'
spoonsinger Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Just say it isn't so. I don't believe it. I suspect this is just another Peter Molyneux snake oil promotional 'art' thing. In what world could Lionhead studios, with all their really excellent - and not over hyped - products, not exist after all these years? (It's a black and white answer). I mean THQ went under because they were actually competent and provided good product so they deserved everything they got. But Lionhead, it's a media lovey studio. Why! Oh! Why! (Kneels on ground and raised hands to the sky), does god so forsake us?
Chaos63 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I'm still recovering from Fable 3, the worst PC port in the history of mankind, so...meh.

They couldn't even support it for one day!
