CTD on save game, probably something with Devous Devices

Hey everyone,
I spend a lot of time to find reason of CTD during save game. I changed few times load order list and start game many times but finaly i lost my hope:(

My problem:

I have instant CTD on save game when my player is equiped with devious devices (zad devices too, not sure) - but only, when devices are equiped by papyrus/mod. when i equip stuff manualy all is ok. It not happens always. I think that issue come after few hours of gameplay - maybe 4h or more. So its not always, its happens when save is a little older.

List of known mods, that i noticed:

Cursed Loot (add more toys)
S.L.U.T.S (its funny, but actual this mod not cousing problems now, but earler yes)
Captured Dreams Shop (quest main and delivery, i thought that its a reason of problems, now i disabled this mod)
Prison Overhaul (arested - saving in cell)

I say its Papyrus overload... also you can deactivate Estrus. Its known to spam Papyrus and it doesnt need to be activated in order for estrus chaurus to work.

I think there was also some kind of problem with MoreBanditCamps which could cause CTDs.

But the root. i think, is that you just have too many Scriptheavy mods installed, causing the Game to crash when one more Script fires, in your case a script to equip a DD.

Deactivating some options might help, for example the aroused option in CreatureFramework, tuning down a lot of Options in Cursed Loot and definitely not activating Arousal Transformation in PSQ.

But even then, at least my Computer couldnt handle that Loadorder.

You can try starting your game when you get to the load/new game screen hit the ~ key to bring up the console and type in coc qasmoke and hit enter this will warp you to the games testinghall from there bring up your save files and select the one that you want to load. Most of the time this will work unless the save is truly bad. Usually CTD on load can be caused by your computer not being able to load all of those scripts at one time.

I use the above option as my main way to load saves so I never have to worry about the game crashing trying to load a save.

I dont think he got a CTD on load but rather when a Script equips a DD on him.

yes, but i can load game without issues - problem is only with savegame, when my player got devoius devices by (for example) coursed loot

but if I wait a moment and via mcm run option "free me" (option in coursed loot to unequip all devious stuff) and wait again about 1 minute then sometimes save is possible and i can continue gamplay until next "devious event".

I made few test: in any case result is always same It's hard to find, becouse error happens after few hours of gameplay. In another case I could play with disabling position in load list to eliminate problematic mod.

In my option problem is related with uncaught error: something like writing to not existing slot - it's not catched in realtime but make corruptions in memory game state (indexof?) and later is throwing as exception during dump memory to file.

but why i didnt find via google thread with same problem, I'm only one with that issue?

Im not using ENB (you mean graphic tuning?)

For sure i set just in mod organizer default skyrim inis (skyrim and skyrimPrefs) and i got next CTD.

Well I didn't mean to set them at default just that you didn't mess with your papyrus settings as that is known to cause issues for you it seems fine.

some things:

1.) SexLab Inflation Framework ; You don't really need this most mods are moving over to NIO anyway FillHerUp uses Nio if you're using the edited newer version and I haven't used hentaipregnancy but I know that beeing female has a NIO scaling option. I have looked and someone made a NIO scaling patch here also sexlab hormones uses NIO as well so they should all play well together.

2.) PSQ Succubus and Maria Eden ; I just wouldn't use the both to be honest both for me have had issues that led to consistent CTD's

3.) Everytime someone is having CTD issues I always find RaceCompatiblity in their load order not that this is the cause but I do adding in a new race will bring in its own issues when other mods are brought into the fold.

4.) zzEstrus.esp ; This can be disabled at this point it is only adding a spell to be able to use the estrus machine etc if you don't want the spell remove only the files from that mod are required of estruschaurus.

5.) You should download USLEEP

6.) SexLab Aroused Creatures ; This is based on no information whatsoever but I believe this mod would probably cause alot of scripting strain on your system and its best to not even have it.

7. ) you have the skse.ini right?

8.) also you can have an the ENB without adding any graphical improvements only use the fixes.

Also dont forget to disable Papyrus Logging if your Game seems to be stable. Enabling it all the time is afaik also quite stressful.

-deactivate Arousal Force transformation and Pregnancy.

- Use Beeing Female (deactivate NPC Menstruation Cycle and NPC can get pregnant) or Soulgem Oven 3 instead

- Remove these.

(32 - 32) hydra_slavegirls

- hydra Slavegirls is nice, but better dont use it with any other mods that add NPCs. Too many NPCs are quite heavy too.

- I would remove DeviouslyHelpless and tune down a lot of Settings in Cursed Loot. Definitely deactivate Traps when opening Doors, Opening Doors can already cause random CTD without an extra Script firing.

(80 - 80) EstrusChaurus
(81 - 81) zzEstrus

- Deactivate estrus. It only needs to be installed for estruschaurus to work, but doesnt need to be activated.

(91 - 91) SexLab Aroused Creatures

- Remove this.

Thats the only way to reduce Scripts without getting rid of any mods i know of for your setup.

After that deactivate Papyrus logging.

If you still get CTDs you will have to remove some Mods. I would start with those adding NPCs

Scriptheavy Mods in your Setup I know of:

-Cursed Loot, can be really stressful depending on what you have activated and which settings you use.

- PSQ

- Devious Devices

- MoreNastyCritters

- Hormones

- As well as those mods I said to remove. There are other Mods in your installation which offer in some cases already the same or almost the same functionality.

You're welcome also if you do decided to go over to beeing female and keep both hormones/Fill herup (i use fill her up and it hasn't really caused me issues although cursed loot added a feature like this but I don't know how well its implemented.) then set the skeleton option in the menu from skeleton default to skeleton NIO.

and now all works fine, I think that problem was in conflict between dD Enchanted Chests and Coursed loot

another possibility: now I'm playig without memory path.
