only two factions in all Fallout universe i was able to tolerate were NCR Rangers in FO2

and vault 13 deathclaw community in same FO2

To this day I remember how chris avelone murderded intelligent deathclaws, with no way to save them. I hate him so much.

And I hate his *bible* too

rip goris, rip xarn , rip gruthar

The comapanion one (sorry forgott his name, the death claws have weird names) is still alive and somewere (yes its cannon) just like the chosen one so theres still hope. maybe he repopulated and theres a city full of sentient deathclaws somewere and we dont know ( i can dream). We need a deathclaw city dlc I demand!!!! or at least the opporntunity to create new sentient deathclaws as the director of the institute or better sentient synthclaws!!!

I never played the old Fallout games but when I read about the Deathclaws that could talk, I was wondering why Bethesda never explored that a bit more instead of making all of them the beasts they are. That could have been interesting, but I guess they didn't really played the previous games. That would be much more interesting than making a stupid alien DLC.

Nope they were killed off, thanks to that bible thing. All sentient deathclaws.

It was such interesting design, talking and intelligent deathclaws that create small communities. There was a one place where they lived ( abandoned vault ) but they were killed by Frank Horrigan and enclave troops, with no way to save them, but I think some unofficial patch added an option to rescue them. Still its non canon.

It was kinda sad because deathclaws run away and wanted to live at peace and speaking of aliens. They are canon now, thanks to the brilliant bethesda lore team, the aliens have caused the atom war.

Hehe remind me of an argument I had with a steam user, saying Bethesda didn't, when even in a loading screen it's told that they may have caused the war.

I hope they won't make another DLC similar to Zeta and try to make interesting DLCs like New Vegas'. That would be a waste otherwise imo.

That's funny. Only half of NV's DLCs are decent and well done in both story and gameplay.

Don't want to talk about DM, but HH is ridiculous even as a joke.

If you ask me, I'd hope Beth do F4 DLCs like how they did with Skyrim's. Wasteland Workshop is F4's HF, so let's just hope Far Harbor has a longer story than Dragonborn that has equal or better quality.

Well as far as I'm concerned, I enjoyed all the DLCs and especially Joshua's story and how he was finally presented. Dead Money was also challenging and felt very different. But hey some people hate it. ^^

I read on an article that Bethesda said Far Harbor is (talking about landmass) the biggest they've done so far. So I suppose it'll have many quests, especially after people told them that so many quests in the base game are tied to factions/"not enough quests stranger".

My main concern is for Wasteland Workshop, I hope they'll really add much more stuff like Homemaker (I doubt it though), because what you can build atm... it's just sad.

I don't use Homemaker because if each time an official update/mod update is released you can lose all your stuff. I could use the tgm command, but I like to play without cheats.

Land is all they really worked on in the base game, and even that was low-resolution crap that got an immediate overhaul by a competent (read: non-Bethesda) modder. As for quests, that's optimism I admit to sharing very cautiously. They've let us down in that area already, so as long as it's not more of the same endless radiant quests anything would be an improvement. WW could be worth a look if they fix some of the more persistent problems. Like settlers taking your stuff, going into your home, not being able to defend themselves no matter how well-equipped they are, the list goes on. Leave adding new stuff to the competent (see above) modders. What they can do without the GECK is pretty damn good.

Hey, hey, let's not wipe out New Reno altogether! That's the only place you can become a Prizefighter, a Porn Star, and a Made Man. Plus if you kill off the Mordino and Salvatore heads, and rig Bishop's safe to explode (after sleeping with his wife ) then Mrs. Bishop turns the place around in the end.

Vault City...yeah, it's almost worth not doing the Gecko quests so their forced to relocate. But I just can't leave Harold to worry about the nuclear plant. He's my favorite Fallout character.

honestly if i could/had the balls too, i would nuke Preston, dude is like peer pressuring me in every dialogue i have with him as a follower

other than him it would be the brotherhood, they think they are so special, with their infinite powercell'd power armor and their buzz light year-look-alike

Automaton is gonna have good gameplay, shit story.

The return of the Mechanist... I guess the 4th DLC will be about Sierra and that man stalking on her merging into a Nuka monster and pollute the Wasteland with Nuka Urina. The player has to stop Nuka monster and save the Commonwealth; and by killing the Nuka monster, the player has discovered a great lot of ways to make use of Nuka Cola, including the special ability "Nuka Flooding" and the schematics to make a Nuka Gun that shoot extremely acidic and irradiated Nuka Cola etc.

For once I agree with you. The base game has not left me with much confidence in Bethesda as a whole. In April's Game Informer article on Gears of War 4, there's a line that says titles survive several sequels only when the publisher truly understands the franchise. Bethesda clearly never knew the Fallout franchise to begin with comparing FO3 to FO1 and 2. FONV, at least in terms of plot and side stories, really felt like a Fallout game. But that's because it was made by several of the same people who first created Fallout; they knew what the series was about and it showed. The bugs and instability could be due to Bethesda/Zenimax setting a deadline that left Obsidian no time to fully iron things out. They did an excellent technical job on other titles.

Another faction I'd annihilate (and you can in-game, actually) is the Hubologists. After studying the teachings of the real group they were based on (I'll decline to say which) I can see why Interplay felt the need to spoof them. Years before South Park did--which is saying something when a construction paper cartoon feels the need to point out the obvious.
