Hello Vault boys and Vault girls,

 

This is the Vault Meat mod, replacing the default Vault Boy with the ever beloved Vault Meat.

 

But hey, It seems like you found a Technical Document.

 

 

These still look quite tame, so what was that stupid poll for anyway?

I made a list of the fetishes I thought up to implement into the perk tree.

There will be: bondage, cumbath, groping, facesitting, glory holes, big insertions, hyper insertions, futa, drugging, watersports, beating, cum drinking, cannibalism, necrophilia, bestiality, deep kissing, smothering, femdom, fisting, gape, horsegirl fetish, spitplay, spanking, tentacles, robot, strap-ons, bloodplay, gangbang, orgasm control, pregnancy, lactation, lesbianism*, cunnilingus, high heels, latex, feet

 

...but all in small doses. Feel free to request a fetish that is not on the list. I may or may not add it.

* I don't think of this as a fetish, but added to avoid confusion

 

For this mod I will:

 

1. Use different animations. So for Agility for instance, it's not like she's balancing a bottle naked.

It will be different entirely. The whole perk poster will be overhauled in a manner possible to implement into the game.

 

2. Make in-game posters and billboards after all is done.

Alot of these mods are already in the works as they are just texture replacers.

Maybe not even needed.

 

3. If requested, may be able to make custom Vault Meat Quest icons for mods.

I will have to be done with my own work though, but it's good to keep in mind.

 

4. Release SVGs and FLAs when I am done.

 

5. Release this mod in 2 packages:

One being the Pipboy interface with main perks and the on-screen perk procs so you guys can go ahead and play with it.

The other release will be the full mod with all perks in the perk tree as well (this will take considerably longer to finish, as you may understand).

Art that will be replaced will be initially, in order:

 

1. The SPECIAL perks & On-screen perk procs

2. The Status screen

3. Companion animations

4. Everything else

 

I might do Quest animations as well.

But that's pretty far down the road.

Nah, it isn't that big a deal. Doing things for bigCMan involves a more technical approach.

I'm glad I can get to draw "freestyle". I'm not that far in yet but Quest animations will be a pain

This is excellent work & news! Just today I have been speaking with Ruthless and similar to Bigc he is also making sfw version of vault girl. Given the massive amount of content for sfw stuff. For mods or just the vanilla gameplay it is certainly a lot of work...

Ruthless seems to be willing to share and help with the assets which I find is a great way to standardize the art style of Vault Girl across all submods related to her regardless of NSFW or SFW.

 

Since both you and Ruthless are here on loverslab perhaps you can both coordinate to see what assets are needed most and which areas to start working on.

For example he has already began working on the perktree, perhaps you can work on the quests  or status effects (the animations that pop up).

Until creation kit hits steam I cant say for certain but I am sure we can use quests and status effect for Sexlab/tech related stuff.

 

Well thats just my 2 cents, I look forward to seeing more of your work mate.

Well, that's just the thing about his mod. It IS pretty much the same one as bigCman's.

I got my panties in a twist a bit when I saw it and didn't even understand why. They are both SFW Vault Girls.

 

I will be doing a NSFW mod that is more true to the original style, big bare tits and all. I will also be using alternate animations, as you can see.

The style Ruthless is going for is more in line with the Vault Girl mod.

Therefore, swapping out artwork won't be beneficial to either of us.

It will be different entirely. Just like Charisma up there. The whole perk poster will be overhauled.

I will have to work with what is possible, though. I already understood from bigCman that the perkposter is modder's hell (not in that exact wording).

Thanks for making this, I don't have to be a modding genius to figure out this is quite a bit of work, but if I may ask, how long does a project like this last? Is this something that will take a few months, half a year? Definitely will be something I download as soon as it comes, I'll be keeping tabs on this.

 

I have already worked out a few kinks in the cable with Vault Girl so I know how to make this faster now.

Count for everything together it may take a day or 2 per perk, since I don't always have the time for this.

 

The poster is still untreaded territory. No clue! I will update the main post regularly how far I am in.

I want to vote for consensual only but I can't imagine Animal Friend being anything other than Vault Meat getting railed by either Dogmeat or a mole rat.

This poll will not decide ALL of the perks. Think of it as a threshold. Seeing how things are going now, I don't think I need to worry about one.

Certain fetishes will only be used where applicable, so it makes a bit of sense in context with the perk shown.

There will be futa, but limited. From the top of my head Ghoulish could use a futa, seeing as you have mutated by radiation. Things like that.

I was thinking of ways to keep it vanilla, but it would be boring. I wanted to include as much kinks as possible in relation to the perk.

If not, some animations will then just be variations on the last one.
